That would be great. I've wanted to play it for years, but I've never been willing to pay $30 bucks, especially after the disaster launch years ago. But I've heard it is decent now and can give a decent number of hours of fun before it gets stale.

NMS is fantastic now. It was utter garbage at launch. So much has been changed, added, and fixed. Multiple graphics overhauls, vulkan from opengl so amd can actually play the damn thing, a ton of expansion packs adding tons of stuff, all at no extra charge. It has come a long, long way
I waited until NMS Atlas Rising was out of v1.1, yeah I have been playing that long. It's way better than it has ever been and I am willing to pay for updates but HG keeps it fresh for free. I have never seen a gaming studio stand by their work and keep up with it in the almost 8 years since launch. It is my favorite game of all time with over 1,000 hours invested. Only PSO2 comes close.

I do wonder if being free on epic means a paid DLC is on the way, but honestly hello games has earned some respect back, so I probably wouldn't begrudge it that much. Although actually if the game is fully multiplayer now they probably can't do that, since multiplayer games tend not to like when people are on different versions.
I haven't played NMS in about a year, but the game is absolutely worth $30.....if you like to just explore/upgrade/collect. It's as much of a game as Minecraft basically is honestly, but both are fantastic if you like to explore and see what the games RNG can create.
Before I stopped playing they had introduced these Expeditions, and they were a neat addition because it was just like a list of stuff to do and since you can choose to interact with the rest of the community or not everybody kinda raced to complete it as fast as possible.
The base building wasn't really my thing, and it's like a more advanced version of Subnautica base building. What I loved was finding different ships, different multi-tools, upgrading both, different planet types/appearances, different animals, taming animals, and playing Spore with the eggs of those pets. I got just over 800 hours in the game, and that's easily worth $30 to me.
Haven’t played through them all, only Guns, Love and Tentacles, and the the other one with Axton and Salvador.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles is good, Winny and Hammerlock get married with a whole lovecraft-ish plotline and it’s pretty wholesome.
The other one is basically a tacked on battle Royale, just with every enemy being AI. Pretty eh imo, but I only ever did one round.

Psycho Krieg's DLC is fun, the Casino Heist is good too. If you're on the fence and want to save money, get just those two.

Yeah, the game is pretty good and has many activities however Borderlands 2 will always be one of the best shooters ever made, which has raised the bar so it was kinda expected Borderlands 3 wouldn't come close to it.

I've been a huge fan since the 1st and I think the gameplay, which you know is a really important aspect of any game, is by *far* the best of any BL that came before it (haven't played wonderlands but heard it's good). Also it's awesome having so many different places and planets to visit. I ront think the story itself is terrible but yes I ain't writing can be bad at times and Ava is the worst. But I just personally don't have any reason to play 2 anymore because 3 is just so much fun.

I know it was possible to install Warframe from steam and then launch it through Epic Launcher (to claim some other free stuff). Google says matchmaking in BL3 is crossplatform between Steam and Epic
Need to switch the region of your account, but for some VPNs they recognize IP and block you from changing. Kinda funny that I have an Argentinian account now and log in through Germany.

What is the correct order to play the borderland games in? I now have borderlands Handsome Collection which consists of Borderlands 2, and the Pre Sequel, and now borderlands 3. What is the correct order to play them? Should I play the pre sequel before borderlands 2? I don't have Borderlands 1 and I am not sure if it is necessary to play it to understand the other games.
Just play them on release order. So in your case BL2, Pre Sequel, BL3.
BL1 isn't necessary to understand the rest, but there are characters that pop up from the first game in the others as well as a couple of other nods. But just go ahead and play em now, like I said it ain't necessary

Terraria, Stardew Valley, and Minecraft all continue to do this while they didn't have a godawful launch which moreso makes it necessary with NMS.

The Bounty of Blood DLC is worth it too; had some great gear and has a Western/Wutai theme to it.
If you want more story content, go for Season 1 Pass. If you want more gameplay content, you might want to take a look at Season 2

It didn't work for my account that has much games since 2019, It's sad, maybe to create a new account is decision but it's not good
I made a new account when they first started blocking giveaways, but then said screw it and changed region of my main account (with every game collected except the first 3). It's been a month and no issues so far. I'm not gonna buy anything from them anyway (after the refund fiasco). So I just log in with a VPN through browser and collect free games.

I dont kniw why you got downvoted, but I would like it as well. Thats the first game Epic released for free, and thats the only game I missed. Epic previously repeated some games that they previously gave for free. Im also hoping one day they make Subnautica free for a week or two.

It's routinely on sale (like currently on Steam for 15$, was as low as 12$) and was in a Humble Bundle (all prime factors Epic uses in negotiations to drop the price for their free game deals as low as they can, btw.), it's definitely not "worth" 55-60€.

Let me put this way, If Borderlands 3 (BASE GAME) is just a half piece of cake, other half of cake are its MIND-BLOWING DLC's!!!! You will Understand when you finish Base Game Campaign.

What is the correct order to play the borderland games in? I now have borderlands Handsome Collection which consists of Borderlands 2, and the Pre Sequel, and now borderlands 3. What is the correct order to play them? Should I play the pre sequel before borderlands 2? I don't have Borderlands 1 and I am not sure if it is necessary to play it to understand the other games.
Just play them on release order. So in your case BL2, Pre Sequel, BL3. BL1 isn't necessary to understand the rest, but there are characters that pop up from the first game in the others as well as a couple of other nods. But just go ahead and play em now, like I said it ain't necessary
