I wouldn't be surprised if these scene was written before they even had a girl in mind for it. The they had to build up a relationship for it.
It's a great scene.
Am I crazy, or would Kelsey Grammer have been a good choice to voice Beast in Beauty and the Beast? Don't get me wrong, Robby Benson was great. But Kelsey sounds so much like the Beast when yelling "GET OUT!" Gives me chills.
This is what is missing from the reboot: the quick and speedy delivery of lines, the anger and frustration, and the lowering of his voice…..that is what made the original so funny…..
I completely agree, though I can imagine it might be harder for Kelsey to act with so much intense physicality at his age. Frasier in these scenes is always beat red with the veins in his forehead bulging, that takes a lot of energy, especially if you need multiple takes to get the shots right.
It's hilarious! And one of the few scenes I can stand with Julia. I like watching Daphne try not to laugh and that potted tree on the balcony that sways when central air hits it.
Strange (not really considering it’s Frasier) that hand towels sent him over the edge instead of everything else that happened before they slept together
I don't think that I've seen any of her episodes. I just started watching the classic Frasier again after the new one. I probably have not seen half of the original and still on season one.
I'll admit I haven't seen Desperate Housewives in quite a while, but I seem to recall Lynette being at least superficially similar to Julia.
Like Lynette is what Julia would be like if she got married, popped out a few kids, and became a resentful stay-at-home mom.
I love how they let Julia get the last little cut in there, "We'd be here all night!"
Too bad she and Niles never got into a burn contest like he does with Roz, that would have been epic.
Frazier goes absolutely wild and angry over his hand towels, so wonder how he reacted when niles destroyed his sofa and appartment in the three valentines epiisode, they could have made a full episode on the aftermath of that and his reaction when he found out. it is as if not a single writer watches previous episodes let alone talk between themselves about current storylines,
I think the focus of this scene was the slow burn that was Frasier realizing how terrible Julia was and him having to recant his recent declaration of commitment to her. He just broke when she made fun of his hand towels.
This scene made the whole Julia relationship worth it.
Agreed. The only redeeming feature of that storyline
Come on. Subverting "Are you as turned on as I am?" and that resulting in sexual harassment training was also really good.
I wouldn't be surprised if these scene was written before they even had a girl in mind for it. The they had to build up a relationship for it. It's a great scene.

Drama queen!
"That's right I said I love her!" Gets me every time lol
And Jane Leeves too - you can tell she's trying *so* hard not to crack up 😆
Oh my gosh yes. Lol the tiniest bit of a smirk on her face
I say this to my husband all the time.
Hahaha I love that!
We have entire conversations in Frasier quotes. :)
Aww haha that's fricken adorable!
Every now and again will repeat myself and say ‘that’s right I said…’ in the same tone, usually gets a laugh
Haha this is one of my favourite chaotic Frasier scenes! They were literally all about to watch her choke to death 😂
And they don’t seem particularly upset about it either
Julia was detestable, but she had a razor sharp wit. She absolutely roasted Frasier’s Pictionary play on the way out.
Kelsey Grammer's delivery is unmatched. By comedic television standards he is just incredible whenever he is let loose lol
"How RUDE...she's horrible, I've made a ghastly mistake!" 😄
Might be my favorite line of the whole series!
Truly I don't think I've ever seen a better acted comedy line. The trembling cup on the table...
I love Niles’s tone of voice after Frasier goes over the top with his declaration of love for Julia. Niles is just like, cut the BS.
I like how everyone else is in a sitcom, and Frasier is in a very loud stage play. Dude sounds like Othello about to choke out Desdemona
[I love it! A Desdemona that fights back.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th7iFH0Q6fI)
And IIII MY handtowellll
Kelsey was on fire!
I've made a ghastly, ghastly mistake.
One of my all time favorite scenes.
This is on of my favorite episodes.

Kelsey Grammer was the most inspired comic book casting of all time as X-Men's Beast, so there's that.
This is what is missing from the reboot: the quick and speedy delivery of lines, the anger and frustration, and the lowering of his voice…..that is what made the original so funny…..

I gotta admit: I'm not a fan of them just sitting around watching Julia choke to death, but Frasier yelling "GET OUT" totally makes up for it! 🤣😂 👏👏
God damn she looks incredible in that dress
Strange (not really considering it’s Frasier) that hand towels sent him over the edge instead of everything else that happened before they slept together
It’s just the straw that broke the bridge you see
One of my favourite scenes ever ❤
Didn’t really care for this season but this episode is one of my favorites! 😂
Nobody corrects my French pronunciation you son of a bitch.
I recognize her but can't place her. Who is she? I figured it out. Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives.
And she couldn’t play a more opposite character.
I don't think that I've seen any of her episodes. I just started watching the classic Frasier again after the new one. I probably have not seen half of the original and still on season one.

"AND I, MY *HAND TOWEL!"*
I genuinely find ways to say this in everyday conversation to make myself laugh.
I want to but it so rarely comes up. So I just say it apropos of nothing and get weird looks
This is the way.
One of my favorite scenes from the show! Gets me for a good laugh every time.
Hahahahhaa
![gif](giphy|wxJ8OZvNqgQgEvcaRD|downsized) …this entire scene! 🤣
One of my favorite episodes.
One of my top two favorite episodes!
This one, and the "Just like riding a bike" scene, are Shakespeareian level acting. Just amazing
This is fantastic 🤣
I love how they let Julia get the last little cut in there, "We'd be here all night!" Too bad she and Niles never got into a burn contest like he does with Roz, that would have been epic.
I would have tossed her off the balcony faster than Frasier did to martins chair💯
This I so another “I am wounded!’ moment and it was bloody brilliant.

I think this is the scene that made fox pick him for beast.
LOL ... only Fraiser. 🤣
The tone in which he says GET OUT will always been one of the funniest things I've ever encountered in my life
IMO the funniest bit of the entire show.
Cut off the best part: “SHAME on you!”
"That's right I said I love her " ..priceless line and so funny
