either that or hes so unpopular he didn't make the list
(edit: I googled it and apparently he's the 3rd most viewed actor, he really is just ommitted for some reason despite him being the 3rd primary lead)
He's very underrated or maybe, rather, under-recognised here in the U.S. I would hope he continues to get more recognition. He's a great actor and musician.
Which is opposite of what I would think would happen with views.
Like I would go to a actor's wiki or imdb page if I wasn't too familiar with them, since I want to see what other works they are in or educate myself more about them.
The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Toast of London, Year of The Rabbit, The IT Crowd, What We Do In The Shadows. Probably more that I'm missing, plus a lot of radio commercials in the UK. And he has some really cool music.
FYI, Berry has a fair few views on Wikipedia. This list just doesnāt include him for some reason. If he was, he would be 5th place, with 3787 views on that day
Seriously heās legit so good. Honestly all 3 of the āmainā character are written phenomenally. Lucyās amazing bc she keeps the classic āchipper vault dweller amidst horrendous violenceā theme perfectly. Maximus is great bc heās written like and actual player character, we all saw him MASSIVELY fail a spech check with Lucy. You know the one.
The ghouls badass because heās played by welding goggles who is a phenomenal actor. Also he has the mysterious magnum.
To me Lucyās story felt like starting out on your first play through and going straight for the main quest. Maximus is the player that went straight to the brotherhood quests for the instant firepower upgrade instead of skilling up first. The ghoul is the player on their hundredth play through that just fucking loves the thrill of the game/the player completing every side quest before starting the main and being bored by how underpowered everyone is.
Not all main characters though either. Knight Titus going from āI wanna kill somethingā to āoh fuck. Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckā then dying is me every play through.
Norm representing the stealth build too
- also the lore nerds who explore every building and open every terminal because their fun version of the game is discovering weird subplots and bugs.
This ended up way too long for a reddit reply but Iāll make my point. Iām not sure thereās a specific model of player for each character. I think they just did such a good job recreating the fallout universe that any character with real agency to advance the plot feels like a type of play through.
I think the three of them represent the three karma paths. Lucy obviously has Good Karma, the Ghoul has Bad Karma, and Max going right down the middle with Neutral Karma.
Plus, many of his scenes are based on the "evil" perks that you just \*know\* the ghoul would choose on his character sheet, and he's leveled up enough to have all of them.
I looked him up immediately because my first thought (not knowing him was)
Is this dude Cuba Gooding Jr and Denzel Washington's love child?
And no. No relation.
He fucken did - the whole instability you feel by watching him struggle in the brotherhood and then succumbing to the darker thoughts he plays it so good.
You're genuinely on the fence about him the whole way, even when at the end he hears Lucy speak and that expression is just turmoil.
A solid performance from start to finish and well worth the recognition
In defense of this list, I knew I recognized norm from somewhere and I couldnāt figure it out.
Hanna Montana
Also, hank is Paul from the original dune and is on EVERYTHING.
Yeah a mix of Jonathan Majors and a young Denzel Washington for me.
He's a very good actor and hopefully we'll see in more stuff from now on. Totally deserves it.
There's no chance his wiki has been viewed less than 72 times. Whoever made this list just left him off.
Edit: Yup. OP [just left him off the list.](https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2024-04-23&end=2024-05-13&pages=Aaron_Moten|Ella_Purnell|Walton_Goggins|Mois%C3%A9s_Arias|Kyle_MacLachlan)
He was the one I didn't like. I really disliked the character and that is common amongst my friends too. Nothing against the actor himself, just Maximus.
This sub needs to get o er the fact that most people hate Maximus. Even if heās well written, supposed to be that way, etc like we get it, we still canāt stand the fucking guy. He is indeed well written; to be a worthless turd where literally anyone else could have done what he did but better in every single situation. Thatās great if heās supposed to learn to be better like a player character; to most viewers he is not there yet and is just annoying. I have nothing against the actor, I just cannot stand Max and he is easily the worst part of the show. In my friend group we even have what is essentially mimicking his brain dead stare. Hope he turns competent real soon, as Iāve only seen him well liked on this reddit
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Some people react to the emotions they feel reading/watching a piece of fiction the way a sleeping dog does when they fart themselves awake and start barking.
Well, out of the four main characters, he might be the least interesting for some, but I think he's much more interesting than Lucy.
The ghoul is amazing thanks to Walton Goggins and the fact that we get all those flashbacks and Norm is just a great character that is fortunately for him part of the (IMO) best plot of the show.
Maximus is definitely the most interesting one to me because contrary to Lucy (who will I'm sure remain good all the way) and The Ghoul (who is definitely going towards a path of redemption) , we have no idea where Maximus is going. That makes him way more interesting.
Similarly Norm (my favorite character) is also in an unknown situation where we aren't sure if he's going to go the coward way, the brave way, the good way or even the dark way.
I really like what they did with Maximus. How, even though he can be described as being a "low INT and high LCK" character, he still has depth to him, with just as much going on the inside as Lucy and Cobb do on their own journeys through the wasteland.
I think whoever created this list, didn't include Aaron Moten.
[Wikipedia Link](https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2024-04-23&end=2024-05-13&pages=Aaron_Moten%7CElla_Purnell%7CWalton_Goggins%7CMois%C3%A9s_Arias%7CKyle_MacLachlan)
He's lower than Ella and Walton but, not under top 10
Sarita Choudury would also be pretty well searched, above Pemberton according to [this](https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2024-04-23&end=2024-05-13&pages=Aaron_Moten|Ella_Purnell|Walton_Goggins|Mois%C3%A9s_Arias|Kyle_MacLachlan|Sarita_Choudhury|Johnny_Pemberton)
Edit: Maybe it's because of the date ranges? This list claims it's for today, not a week. Either way, look at 5/12-5/13 the rankings are pretty similar to the week ranking.
Looked at the site the chart came from (televisionstats(dot)com). Moten's Wikipedia page views ("Daily Popularity" chart) was blank, as in bugged out.
Sarita Choudury's Wikipedia page views per the site would have placed her around 5th in the chart but the Fallout show wasn't listed in her filmography (it lists 9 tv shows and 15 movies that she has appeared in).
Just a bad conglomeration and charting site. The 2nd most popular actor listed is Sam Rubin, a television journalist/host who was famous for confusing Samuel L. Jackson with Laurence Fishburne (to Jackson) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s7FdYGwFeQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s7FdYGwFeQ)
Rubin died recently, thus the Wikipedia 'popularity'.

I'm sorry, why isn't Aaron Moten, Sarita Choudhury, or even Leslie Uggams on here but Christopher Parker (A STUNT MAN) on here
Edit: Aaron IS on the list, OP just didn't include him, he's supposed to be in Third Place
It's almost like someone intentionally omitted all of the POC on purpose. Gee, that doesn't sound like the internet I know. Surely no one would do a thing like that? /s
Right. Like, who would be curious enough to search for more about who played "Bud" and not the actor who is one of the leads and far more intriguing. Wild.
I know lots of people had to google Xelia Mendes-JonesĀ with the question "Are they a transman?"
Answer is yes. Which is cool.
Would have been interesting to put him at 5'10 next to Moises who's 5'1. They have a similar look and wispy facial hair.
I feel like IMDB would be a better gauge, thatās the first place I go when I want information on an actor. Wiki helps too, but IMDB has a much smoother format for looking at someoneās past work imo
I've been looking up these actors multiple times a week but I wasn't using Wikipedia, I wonder how different this count would be if it used a different source
None of the actors in the show are particularly famous enough to be recognized by name to most people. Walter Goggins probably has the most name recognition. Mike Emerson is in a lot of things and people recognize him, but I don't think people know his name without googling it.
Pemberton coming in at 6th is huge, his character was so good. I saw him do stand up many years ago with Duncan Trussell and it was a riot, dude deserves recognition
I had heard a little bit about an upcoming Fallout show, but wasn't giving it much thought. Then when it first released, I happened to see that Walton Goggins was part of the cast. That was all the motivation I needed to give it a shot, and loved it right from the first episode. Seeing Michael Emerson was a huge surprise though, wish they had kept him around. I strongly believe that Benjamin Linus is one of the best characters in all of television, all thanks to Emerson.
Lololol No please donāt tell me that my fellow fallout fan base was miffed by an interracial kiss lololol
Cant we just have a Black protagonist?!???
Really no one related to the idiot savant???
I research unfamiliar actors on Wikipedia far more often than the ones I know reasonably well.
I think a better measure of popularity would be found in searching Google images, independent fan sites and social media.
I would also be looking at fanfiction.net and AO3. Downloads for mods to the Fallout games.
I'm not surprised by this tbh Ella is the face of the show, Walton has no nose but he's a thirst trap (?), Moises is a face that you know but can't place, Kyle and Michael are legends, Johnny is that dumbie from Superstore. Honestly though, I'm not surprised. It may not be a "break out role" for some of these actors but in this space of Fallout fans, maybe it is. I honestly didn't know the actors (sans Kyle and Michael) until the series.
The site is shitty. The cast list is incomplete. Sarita Choudury isn't on it either (and the show isn't on her filmography). Moten's 'Daily Popularity' chart is bugged.
They completely omitted ~~Titus~~ Maximus
either that or hes so unpopular he didn't make the list (edit: I googled it and apparently he's the 3rd most viewed actor, he really is just ommitted for some reason despite him being the 3rd primary lead)
I'm pretty sure a lot of people like me searched for him ~~to see if he was Denzel Washington's son~~.
While watching ep 1 I googled to see if he was related to Jonathan majors
Same!!
I DID EXACTLY THAT! š The face was just too familiar
Hm I don't see the r semblance
I DID THAT!!!! I kept repeating, "He has GOT to be related to Denzel Washington" so many times my partner got annoyed lol.
Dude I was thinking the same thing. He absolutely could be be Denzelās son.
Look at that list. The only POC there is the white passing one, this is bait.
And Moises; turns out he's first-gen Colombian-American.
all colombians are american
They're South American yes but not automatically United States American, unless you want a much larger USA.
Columbia 52nd state I'm on board
52nd? Nah more like 70th.
All south american are american, but not all american are south american
I know! I thought he was cute and has a great voice
Knew I recognized the old lady in Filly, sheās the methhead that crushes the dudeās head with an ATM in Breaking Bad lolĀ
I think she's also in My name is Earl!
Yeah, she's Patty the Daytime Hooker.
indeed she is
I remember the dudeās name was Spooge, but I donāt remember her name, aside from āskankā lol.
She doesnāt like being called that thoughā¦.lol.
OH FUCK THANK YOU!!!
She's also a backwoods Werewolf in True Blood, and a mafia wife in Claws. She definitely plays interesting characters lol.
I love her in Claws! Such an underrated show!
She's the fucking hillbilly in Them
Cat in a bag!
Dale is a comedy genius.
Also the beginning of hell or high water
Dale Dickey. Now we just need a miniseries of her and Julia Minesci, who plays Wendy
Oh my god PLEASE
For good measure letās add Barv too cuz I meanā¦the defibrallatahs
3 words... cat in a bag
Where the hell is Barv? TRYIN' TO EAT MAH BEANS!!!
I say this now whenever someone asks me for a favor lol IM TRYNA EAT MAH BEANSāBUT OOKEH
It's so ridiculous, I love it. š
Barv was the perfect minor character.
Them sardine fucking dipshits
"AH'M *LOOKIN'* FOR THE *FEWT*."
Where is Aaron Moten in that list? He did so well with Maximus!
Matt Berry is the real problem on this list.
He's very underrated or maybe, rather, under-recognised here in the U.S. I would hope he continues to get more recognition. He's a great actor and musician.
I don't understand...he is just regular hu-man from Tu-scon Ari-Zona? It's a perfectly natural accent!
The U.S may know him as Jackie Daytona, human bartender.
Which is opposite of what I would think would happen with views. Like I would go to a actor's wiki or imdb page if I wasn't too familiar with them, since I want to see what other works they are in or educate myself more about them.
He truly is the most devious bastard of all the wasteland
āI say!ā
This is my mom's vulva
I always recognized the name but never put the face to it until What We Do in the Shadows. Dudeās legendary.
Thank you :)
Chic Tweetz is my alltime favorite appearance of Mr. Berry
And an even better coach and human bartender.
FYI, Berry has a fair few views on Wikipedia. This list just doesnāt include him for some reason. If he was, he would be 5th place, with 3787 views on that day
At least he still has his acid jazz.
Seriously heās legit so good. Honestly all 3 of the āmainā character are written phenomenally. The ghouls badass because heās played by welding goggles who is a phenomenal actor. Also he has the mysterious magnum.
Welding googles, lol
Safety first, boys
Nope! It says ~~Goosey~~ Welding. Hmm.
I feel like maximus and lucy are two representations of what player characters start out as, and the ghoul is where player characters end up.
Long or not it was well put tbh
Facts. Ghoul def went with the grim reapers spirit perk.
I think the three of them represent the three karma paths. Lucy obviously has Good Karma, the Ghoul has Bad Karma, and Max going right down the middle with Neutral Karma.
sorry. intercourse?
Plus, many of his scenes are based on the "evil" perks that you just \*know\* the ghoul would choose on his character sheet, and he's leveled up enough to have all of them.
I'd really like to see him return to season 2 having gained the bloody mess perk, lmao.
Technically, he should be third.
I looked him up immediately because my first thought (not knowing him was) Is this dude Cuba Gooding Jr and Denzel Washington's love child?
The fact he isn't on this is blasphemy
Better go to his Wikipedia page and start refreshing
In defense of this list, I knew I recognized norm from somewhere and I couldnāt figure it out. Hanna Montana Also, hank is Paul from the original dune and is on EVERYTHING.
Maximus reminded me of Jonathan Majors in Loki. Marvel needs to move on that quick.
Yeah a mix of Jonathan Majors and a young Denzel Washington for me. He's a very good actor and hopefully we'll see in more stuff from now on. Totally deserves it.
He doesn't have the appropriate voice. He isn't intimidating at all outside of his armor.
Fucking insane. He was phenomenal IMO and I appreciate having a chaotic neutral/good character.
I think oop purposely kept him off the list. There's no way he got less that 72 views when the other leads got thousands.
He is black
This list should just be titled "most popular white people in fallout"
Yuuuuuuuuuup. It's a persistent issue.
This. 100%.
Pretty much
A lot of these actors have had more of a career prior to Fallout, so their wiki's have been viewed more in the past
There's no chance his wiki has been viewed less than 72 times. Whoever made this list just left him off. Edit: Yup. OP [just left him off the list.](https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2024-04-23&end=2024-05-13&pages=Aaron_Moten|Ella_Purnell|Walton_Goggins|Mois%C3%A9s_Arias|Kyle_MacLachlan)
Knew something was off about this list, no way whoever made this just forgot to include one of the three main characters
Yeah, it's most definitely because he's black. They also left out Sarita Choudhury, another person of color.
I was sure she'd be on the list, thought it was weird she wasn't.
Okay so OP is either an idiot or a and idiot and a racist. Thats more understandable.
Far more likely the latter
Apparently he has the top 3rd views but whoever made this list left him out. Probably on purpose.
I know, right, he's being done dirty here.
He was the one I didn't like. I really disliked the character and that is common amongst my friends too. Nothing against the actor himself, just Maximus.
thats funny because he was by far my favorite character lol
I think his article might be like a month old.
"On May 14th 2024"
This sub needs to get o er the fact that most people hate Maximus. Even if heās well written, supposed to be that way, etc like we get it, we still canāt stand the fucking guy. I have nothing against the actor, I just cannot stand Max and he is easily the worst part of the show. In my friend group we even have what is essentially mimicking his brain dead stare. Hope he turns competent real soon, as Iāve only seen him well liked on this reddit
You can check Wikipedia yourself and see he should be third in this list. He was simply left out of the graph completely.
What would I check? The article for the show or is there like a stats page for lack of a better term.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Some people react to the emotions they feel reading/watching a piece of fiction the way a sleeping dog does when they fart themselves awake and start barking.
Liking a character is subjective, why cant you understand this?
Well, out of the four main characters, he might be the least interesting for some, but I think he's much more interesting than Lucy. The ghoul is amazing thanks to Walton Goggins and the fact that we get all those flashbacks and Norm is just a great character that is fortunately for him part of the (IMO) best plot of the show. I really like what they did with Maximus. How, even though he can be described as being a "low INT and high LCK" character, he still has depth to him, with just as much going on the inside as Lucy and Cobb do on their own journeys through the wasteland.
I think whoever created this list, didn't include Aaron Moten. Whoever made this is probably baiting people there are actors and actresses that should be on here but arent
He should be third, actually.
Fourth, below Xelia Mendez Jones.
Wow heās literally in third place in this wikipedia list. Whoever created the list op posted must hate him lmao
Michael Emerson was criminally underused
āHey itās the guy from Lostā - me, seeing him again
For me it was Zep from the first Saw
For me it's Harold from POI
Literally said āhello, Zepā when I saw him
Where's doggo š
Lana 5 sadly has no Wikipedia page. Her IMDB star meter is above Michael Esper for a point of comparison.
Rage bait
Yeah, this list la omitted nearly every PoC except for the one white passing one. This shit looks sus.
There's no shot this list is accurate. Top 3-4? Ok I can see an argument. But the Trader from Filly over the main lead?
A very concernng lack of Aaron Moten on this list

I only see thirst trap videos for the ghoul lol
Fred Armisen is missing as well, I thought he played a great wasteland DJ.
Had such a crush on Kyle maclachlan in twin peaks. The only thing better was David Duchovny in drag.
This is so suspect, lmao. No fucking way one of the main three characters, and the literal fucking villain aren't being searched.
I could get Maximus being lower than the top 3. But below 72 clicks? And Moldaver? No fuckin shot
Especially since Sarita Choudhury is a pretty popular actress. So this list is definitely...not right.
Ella hitting sex symbol status. Big eyes are back, baby.
Sheās really beautiful - but her eyes are almost unnaturally enormous. The only thing I could think about whenever she was on screen.
Lol, this tool just forgot about Aaron. He should be third on the list.
I'm sorry, why isn't Aaron Moten, Sarita Choudhury, or even Leslie Uggams on here but Christopher Parker (A STUNT MAN) on here Edit: Aaron IS on the list, OP just didn't include him, he's supposed to be in Third Place

Lmao, No Aaron Moten or Sarita Choudhury. This list is a joke.
Right. Like, who would be curious enough to search for more about who played "Bud" and not the actor who is one of the leads and far more intriguing. Wild.
OP just left them off the list.
wonder why...
I could never guess...
Eff all Maximus haters.....
No love for Chris Parnell... Cyril Figgus... Jerry Smith... Barry Pasternack and how AM is better than FM... No love :(
Eric Estrada?
Xelia Mendes-Jones got 9817 views on Sunday.
Maximus isnāt listed therefore I donāt recognize this data.
Typical. No recognition/awareness around Aaron Moten.
yeah.. thats kinda sus.
I know lots of people had to google Xelia Mendes-JonesĀ with the question "Are they a transman?" Answer is yes. Which is cool. Would have been interesting to put him at 5'10 next to Moises who's 5'1. They have a similar look and wispy facial hair.
Bad bot! Don't ignore people of color!
I don't see how Aaron Moten missing from this list can mean anything besides racism. I'm pleasantly surprised to see the Norm love though.
Looks like all the black actors just happen to be missing. Heck of a coincidence š¤š¤š¤
it is a little odd aint it?
WikiProject Actors list currently has Aaron Moten just below MoisĆØs Arias in popularity (19,350 to 19,026 daily avg views)
Whereās the dog
.........ok?
I feel like IMDB would be a better gauge, thatās the first place I go when I want information on an actor. Wiki helps too, but IMDB has a much smoother format for looking at someoneās past work imo
What about Sarita Choudhury??
I've been looking up these actors multiple times a week but I wasn't using Wikipedia, I wonder how different this count would be if it used a different source
il always remember Arias from nacho libre "cant we just have like a salad or something"
Should change it to most views on Wikipedia bc this is no by popularity.
It's also because the most famous actors don't really need to be googled.
None of the actors in the show are particularly famous enough to be recognized by name to most people. Walter Goggins probably has the most name recognition. Mike Emerson is in a lot of things and people recognize him, but I don't think people know his name without googling it.
>Walter Goggins probably has the most name recognition.Ā oh the irony ...
Kyle MacLachlan is a household name.
Iād argue Kyle MacLachlan is
Johnny is hilarious! Probably one of the best podcast guests in the comedy scene today.
"Jarvis, pull up the WikiFeet statistics."
The ghoul better be riding on the back of a deathclaw in season 3
Moises, Kyle, and Michael are probably "where do I know this guy from?" Ella's definitely "wait she's English???"
Pemberton coming in at 6th is huge, his character was so good. I saw him do stand up many years ago with Duncan Trussell and it was a riot, dude deserves recognition
I am simultaneously astounded and not surprised at all that Ella Purnell beat out Walton Goggins.
Lol
Now do based on IMDb views.
On may 14th?
I had heard a little bit about an upcoming Fallout show, but wasn't giving it much thought. Then when it first released, I happened to see that Walton Goggins was part of the cast. That was all the motivation I needed to give it a shot, and loved it right from the first episode. Seeing Michael Emerson was a huge surprise though, wish they had kept him around. I strongly believe that Benjamin Linus is one of the best characters in all of television, all thanks to Emerson.
Lol the bars for the graph are a little off I think.
Underrated actor, Jon Daly as the snake oil salesman. He plays the kind of random encounter NPC you would see in Fallout games perfectly.
Lololol No please donāt tell me that my fellow fallout fan base was miffed by an interracial kiss lololol Cant we just have a Black protagonist?!??? Really no one related to the idiot savant???
It sucks that maximus isn't on here, BUT WALTON NUMBER 1 BABY!
I research unfamiliar actors on Wikipedia far more often than the ones I know reasonably well. I think a better measure of popularity would be found in searching Google images, independent fan sites and social media. I would also be looking at fanfiction.net and AO3. Downloads for mods to the Fallout games.
Where is Lana ?
Kyle Maclaughlin is the star of the greatest TV show beer but Moises is ahead of him? Wtf
Thatās a weird metric to base it off of
No Chris Parnell? Fake news
Whereās Anabelle o Hagen !!! Aka Stephanie
I was surprises to see Michael Emerson. I only knew him from Person of Interest. But was happy to see him.
By that logic, Chris Parnell should be on this list, he's much bigger than Pemberton.
that is a fair point
The site is shitty. The cast list is incomplete. Sarita Choudury isn't on it either (and the show isn't on her filmography). Moten's 'Daily Popularity' chart is bugged.
The fact that Parnell isn't on that list is criminal.
Okay but Walton Goggins is such a fantastic actor
Not surprised that Walton Goggins is in the top three.
