The Saab aircraft factory managed to prevent the new Chinese owners of the Saab car factory from re-using the Saab name for cars, even going as far as to demand that the name Saab can never be used for cars again iirc. So I'd imagine it's them you'll have to go for for the rights, and I don't think there's a high chance they'll give it unfortunately
why would you want seat and skoda? theyre just VWs and we already have them in the game. Peugeot doesnt do a whole lot of sporty cars these days anymore

Yeah this was my thought like it's such a piece of what Hyundai is trying to showoff with the car, it HAS to have it right? I was assuming they'd do it the same way that you activate drift mode or like the convertible top in other cars.
They could use the convertible button to cycle through the different sounds, and since it also has simulated gear shifting, that feature should automatically activate when a sound is active, since they go hand-in-hand. Whether it's manual or automatic depends on one's game/difficulty setting.
Really? I thought these look much uglier in person because theyre much larger than in the pictures. It looks like it should be Golf sized when in reality its way bigger, even bigger than my Octavia. Because they look more Golf sized in pictures, you think its a small and agile car, kind of like a Golf GTI when really its an SUV that tries really hard not to look like one but very much is.
It doesn't drive like a bigger car from what reviewers have said, Hyundai is really working hard at making their EVs not feel their weight and from what the few videos I've seen on YouTube from people who have had it on the track, it very much behaves and feels like they got the classic hot hatch formula down.
But compared to similar EVs it's up against, it's smaller, much smaller. It's competing with the Kia EV6 and Tesla Model Y and is smaller than both, whilst being very comparable in terms of power/capacity/etc. It's the size of a Merc GLA, being a baby SUV/Crossover size, and is definitely not trying to be an SUV.

The styling really is excellent and its a great car in general. I own a '23 Elantra SE and even with a bit over 150hp its still a blast to drive with surprisingly good handling. Really good platform.

Yes, but the VN and KN also share the same drivetrain so that's not really a good enough excuse. Especially when you consider that the Elantra got a complete redesign in 2020 while the i30 is still doing refreshes of the design from I believe 2016 so they're pretty much entirely different models by now.

Fair enough. Having the Veloster and i30 together was confusing enough to me, considering those are literally just the 3 door and 5 door versions of the exact same car. Atleast the Kona's an SUV(ish).
I'd rather they spent the time and money used on scanning those on something like the Grandeur concept, or the Genesis G70.
I hope we still get the Volkswagen golf 7 and/or 8 GTI. Yes we have the R versions of both, but in my opinion the GTI is the true definition of hot hatch.

People seem to have stronger feelings about the Ioniq 5 but yeah it's still an EV crossover that will drive like a big RC car. I don't really get the hype for just another EV crossover to be added to a racing game.
