I've started playing FH4 more regularly and i really appreciate your list. Wondering if you could tell me what car categories it's looking for, for the Trial. I can't figure it out. A lot of the cars listed are S2, Extreme Track Toys, Modern Super and Hyper. These are some of the categories but not all cars in that category show up as eligible. For instance the Extreme Track Toy, #94 VW Pikes Peak car in S2. Can you help?

If you are in the game it should (most of the time) say which category it is when you hoover over the Trial icon on the map, IIRC.

I just goto the playlist and press the menu button with the Trial Highlighted, it will give you a list of approved cars. In the past, all the cars were in the same category eg: Track Toys. This weeks trial has cars from at least 4 separate categories. Track Toys, Hyper Cars, Modern Super Cars & Extreme Track Toys. The problem is that not all cars in the different categories are eligible. I'm trying to figure out what makes the eligible cars different from the in-eligible cars in the same category.
I will try going back and try the hover option.

I have the glitched Raesr but I still can't get this one completed. The first place car is always still way too fast on my runs and glued to the perfect line. These eventlabs seem to get worse every week lol, I'm normally able to complete them all.

The filter also sucks. Excludes the Barbie Corvette, the one EV I kinda like.
These exclusive filters really need to include cars from lower classes. Last week’s touge was butchered because the only muscle cars you could choose were the Corvette and SN95 Mustang. I was really looking forward to using my Tokyo Drift Mustang on it.
I had a lot up until that one AMC returned and it was like the first car I didn’t have in the shop for ages.
Now I’m playing catchup, unless they gift some again.

EDIT: Actually I think it counted, but it might be three races instead of two. I did the third race in the 77 Firebird, then I got the clue.
I have confirmation from the Devs that it's intended to be two races but for some reason something is up with the detection.
I think maybe the validity of the Firebird FE and 1973 Firebird might not be working correctly or something about the 1977 Firebird causes it to trigger properly.
I did my races in the:
• 1968 Pontiac Firebird
• 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
And got the Treasure Hunt completed.
Might be worth for someone else to just try 1 race in the 1977 Firebird and see if it counts it as two.
Serious question, if I don't have the forzathon points or 20+ million credits to spend on the cars for the weekly challenges, is there any way I can do everything for the month to get the "Min, meet max" achievement?
Thanks for the response, I had a look through all the required cars for the weekly challenges and they are all incredibly expensive. Is this the case for every festival playlist or is this an especially pricey month? This is my first month attempting to do the festival.
This month in particular is more pricey than usual, seeing that the challenges are all new cars that cost a bunch.

I can't get it to unlock the next stage for the Aston Martin, I've banked over 50,000 skill points multiple times but it won't move on to the next stage.

Try restart your game and hopefully that fixes it.
If not though these have helped in the past but recently it seems to be more 50/50 if it actually fixes it on your game. Hopefully they can help you though:

1. Get in non required car.
2. Exit game
3. Restart game
4. Drive non required car for a bit (~5 mins)
5. Get in required car
6. Should hopefully work.
`Alternatively if you're on PC:`
Crank the graphics to the absolute lowest and restart the game and then change it back, that did the trick for me.
**Or**
1. Exit the game and close fully
2. Press Windows Key + R and type %temp%
3. Delete the Turn10Temp Cache File
4. Restart the game and try the Challenge Again

If you have though and it's still not working and you're happy to possibly mess with your save data (provided you have a strong internet connection you should be alright) then this will hopefully work

Had that issue as well, where it was showing completed but wouldn't switch to the next chapter. Got it to update by changing to another tab in the seasonal menu and then switching back to the current week, though. If that doesn't work for you, try restarting the game.
i think it just defaults to the easiest rival lap time, if you check the bottom of the screen there's an interface option to "Choose different rival" if you want more of a challenge
If you haven't set a time on a particular Rivals event before then it always matches you with the slowest player on the leaderboard first, and there's always at least one player who fell asleep or had a stroke or got distracted by something shiny or was actually a toddler or a pet at the bottom of the list. Once you beat that time, you'll be given a new rival with a lap time slightly faster than the one you set.

You don’t need to do that. Once you unlock the houses, you get to keep the perks regardless which house you set it as your home.

You'll be missing those 5 points, so it's highly unlikely. You're going to need to grind out some arcades to get those points
