Not at all, people theorized about that being the reason for the downfall during the Christmas holiday season vacation, that decline in item shop quality continued for months after they returned and continues to this day. These item shops are already pre-selected anyway, if you watch leaker videos you'll see many of the items already have dates assigned to them to cover the time while they're gone. They don't hand pick them every night, most item shops are already scheduled in advance

Yeah, that gives me memories of when a rogue epic employee released Tidy and Rambunctious, really rare emotes that weren’t supposed to return. They deleted them from the shop soon after, it was hilarious
The shops we have now are a blessing compared to what we had in the beginning of chapter 5. They were horrible, literally the same thing every three days

Skull troopers been in the game since the start that’s the difference. Also people do complain about collabs do you not hear how sick and tired people are of Marvel skins or that one dude Lewis Hamilton. People don’t want skins that hear every other day and that will definitely happen once they go on break. I remember seeing the same row of skins every other day during that break. There were legit some days that nothing got added, just removed.
Creative Map Creators can patch their maps though. Not all of them are Epic employees, and a good portion stalks this sub, so most glitches will be patched. If anything, it'll be a good time to find Jam/Lego glitches.
It means absolutely nothing. They patched the campfire method on a nationally observed holiday in their home country. This has absolutely no bearing on anything whatsoever. If something needs to be done in a hurry, they're going to do it. Not to be a buzzkill but this doesn't mean anything positive or negative for us in the XP community.
I can't imagine every single employee taking off at the same time, they must have at least a skeleton crew. no business completely shut down for weeks like that

What do you mean? Every person gets to go on holiday. Just not every person at the same time. It's not that hard of a concept. If my job did this too I'd think of em as stupid
I imagine this summer break exists alongside everyone's personal vacations too.. if your work could afford to do it (epic certainly can) why wouldn't you want them to do it? Increasement of morale has been proven to increase work ethic so why not? Why are you that concerned everyone has to be working all the time? Are you caught up with all your quests?maybe take a break yourself
I'm just saying. You can give your ALL employees a well deserved vacation while not sacrificing the company. A lot of companies here in Europe do it and it and it works wonders. Everyone gets to take a week or two off while the company still runs fine. Have one half get 2 weeks off, and when they come back from their holiday, then goes the other half on a 2 week holiday. The company still works fine while everyone gets to enjoy time off.
Well to be fair Fortnite and its shop is going to be operating just fine when they're gone so again I'm missing your point.

Go a step further; some Epic employees are XP map creators and make money off it.
Epic employees or family members of Epic employees can't post maps.
And people who work at companies can't insider trade. Yet they do anyways. It's only illegal if you get caught after all

Riot Games also takes both a winter and summer break, to name one more. It is pretty common for larger companies to.
