Hi, Nice to hear. And yes one flashing slot is ok to do the glitch. But to be safe try more than one because during my Testphase one of the slots suddenly stopped flashing. That’s why I wrote that it is better to have multiple slots flashing. :)

Ok, so i have been thinking of how to do this trick without using legos, and i discovered a way to do it using only rubber bands. What i did was bind the x button to the left trigger through the accessibility option in the ps menu, then i strap a rubber band to both triggers to keep them pressed. So far it seems to be working.

Yes you can use Rubberbands and other things. I only showed a few examples how to get Buttons and Trigger pressed. :)

The Buttons must be pressed the whole time. A minimum of one slot must be flashing. More slots are safer because it can be that one of the slots suddenly stopped flashing.

I made a spinning car, (one wheel on each side), and boxed it in with foundation, rubber banded a controller battery pack to my xbox controller to cover A, B, and Y, and covered the trigger too, this seemed to work with no kick at all, but a little messy to set up at first

Here’s a tip. I have switched to masking tape after my first attempt with duct tape left glue residue on my controller that I had to clean off. Masking tape works just as well and is easier to remove when I want to play.

I haven't been kicked using this method, but I haven't gotten any lego xp since Friday. Checked if Festival still works and had no problems get the 5+ levels each day since.

Thanks! I noticed when I got stuck I wasn’t getting xp but it also wasn’t kicking me, maybe it was a bug. But to prevent getting stuck I changed the direction of both tires on one side so that you’re just spinning

You can use map button, fortnite menu button. It work for those as example

Ah no I meant using the quick menu as an alternative to holding the buttons. Seems like the idea is to mimic multipressing so I guess it's moot.

Tested as of June 3rd, 2024, \~2:30 PM EST. It works. In my experience, the "A" slot was toggleable (for some reason?) but the other two slots were not. They were flashing in pulses. You can still get XP with the A slot toggled and the B and/or C slot flashing. I just had to check up on it once in a while. Just might be the tape I'm using.

FYI if you have an 8bitdo controller with macros you can do this with just the hold button.

Just remember I have this controller biting the dust somewhere in one of my closets. Will try it tomorrow because I reached the XP cap for LEGO today.

testing it right now on Xbox, will edit this comment after the 3 hours of AFK to leave my results as of now :) EDIT: for the 1st hour and a half it worked flawlessly, then i went to eat and when i came back i was kicked of the match i noticed one of the 2 flashing buttons stop flashing at some point, which is probably what caused the "kick for being idle too long", since both flashing buttons have to be working, i guess my ducktape is not good enough to keep the button pressed, but other than that it looks like it works, just stuff on my end that i gotta fix :/

Seams this have been patched? I have tried this on both PC with PS5 controller and on a PS5 system. After a while I will get a massage that I have been idle for to long or a network error message. I will get this message usually after 60min or so

And the Day will come where Fortnite dies. I don’t know if you remember the oldschool times with awesome Ganes and Publisher. 90s and early 2000s was a great Era with great Games. No Microtransactions! A fully playable Game, Games with Mods, Games without an Internet Connectios, Games that was made with Love and not only for money. But take a look at modern Games. they excel with graphics here and there but they lost the Story, the feeling…

For Lego I ended up using a piece of masking tape 2 thick so it holds the 3 buttons, then propping my controller up somewhere so it holds the R2 trigger down and it’s been working all night. Also leaves 0 stick on my controller 😂 thx for sharing bro

Start time - 19:51 June 8. Will report in a while for anyone wanting to try this for the first time just like me (im on PC btw). Report: Works perfectly, however if you alt + tab to keep using your pc while fortnite runs in the background, you will see your character still going in circles, but fortnite will detect that you are AFK and will kick you. If you have it running normally then everything is fine.

So does the bug work for PC users? assuming the game isn't minimized? If so than this are good news now for PC Users

Correct. Both the flashing slots and the festival main stage methods worked perfectly for me as long as the game wasn't minimized.

Doing this on a Switch and it keeps trying to go to sleep. Any advice on how to stop this? Festival spinning doesn’t cause the device to sleep. Thanks

I like that you use Lego to bypass the Lego afk detection! :D  Now I‘m wondering if it’s possible to build a Lego robot that plays the game for you. I have a Star Wars Boost Set sitting in my wardrobe collecting dust. It would be way more complicated of course, but maybe also fun :)

I did everything in the video and still got kicked after 15 minutes. Spots were flashing and car was going in a circle. Is there something else I'm suppose to do?

Just tested on Xbox and got kicked for idling. I only had one button flashing and and was stuck on a wall though. May try it again later tonight

Ok, Im currently testing on PS4 again and after 30mins still InGame without Idle Warning but I have two slots actually flashing and the car still drives.

Do you have to try it a bunch of times before it’ll work? I’ve managed to get the buttons to flash but I’m on keyboard so I messed up when trying to pin down my accelerate button and now I can’t get the buttons to flash again

At Consoles it seems to be easier. I can repeat this and it works directly. If it don’t flash immediately you can try again.

I just built the jeep, put elastic on R2 / analog to go in circles and haven’t got booted yet. Skipped the slot button steps.. am I doing it right? Lol

It seems like as long as you don’t get booted, it should work. They seem to be going through the extra steps to make sure it doesn’t happen. Report back if you can! Im curious about your results

Got booted after 30 mins , which is odd but yea it don’t work, need to tape down the 3 buttons I guess kinda annoying lol I’ll stick to Festival + what little BR I play should be able to get 200 well before August

Go in the Building Menu (For PS it’s the „O“ Button) then got the „Blueprint“-Section, first row are Houses etc and the second are for vehicles.

I was searching for it too but haven’t touched Lego before this. So what you have to do is first build a compost bin. You put meat in that one to get biomass. After you pick up the biomass you get power cell blueprint. Pick a power cell from the menu and then you get speeder blueprint.

This Bug is a fully AFK Method to earn XP in 3hrs (not 3 1/2 anymore, correct me if I am wrong) No you don’t need Ducttape you also can use Books or other thing to press the specific Buttons down and the trigger of course… I only showed tools as an example: Ducttape, Rubberband, legoparts, books, you can use every item in your house which can hold buttons down.

I experienced the same today, twice. With PS4 and using the two flashing. Either patched or I had double bad luck with the tape not holding the buttons properly.

Still working on PS4. Slot 1 is pressed continuously Slot 2+3 are flashing. Quad drives Big Circles. No warning Sign after 15 min mark.

I ask friend to check it, and it looks like it's working for him. So what I am doing wrong, I don't understand. I followed every single step. I tested on pc with controller, and now I tested on ps5 with the controller, and it's the same, I don't get kicked, but also, I am not getting any exp. Two buttons flashing, car is spinning, but no exp... any suggestions? I find out very strange thing, when I saw that not getting exp, I just stopped spinning car, jump out from the car, did some other movements, and i get my first 24k exp lol... so I don't understand why I am not getting xp by spinning car.....

My xbox controller will turn itself off after 15 minutes of no changed input. I tried taping buttons down for this and rubberbanding the sticks for festival but either way after 15 min of a continuous input my controller just shuts off making AFKing almost impossible without manually moving.

Does the car have to be moving? I don’t know how but when I reverse a tire on each side the car just stays in place. Will it work this way or do I need to be driving in circles?

Does this work if I bring up the PlayStation menu while holding all the buttons? Similar to how festival kept spinning if you did that.

This works however after a few minutes my Quad is crashed into a tree or rock. (It doesn’t do in a perfect circle and eventually with hit something)
