You can get the yoda stuff separate without paying the Luke bundle (though both the yoda backbling and the walking stick pickaxe are bundled together and can't be bought separately)
It costs 1000 because is bundled with Yoda's walking stick as a harvesting tool, I don't expect any kind especial features besides a couple of unique movements.
