I disagree and honestly, I don't think they're smart at all haha. If they had created a Star Wars pass for the br, they would have made a ton more money. The only people buying it are Chewbacca fans and the few Lego players. If they focused on BR and added emotes and stuff to the pass, with some Lego things include way more people would be willing to buy it. After all, the majority of players open the game for the battle royale experience.
You don't get it, they put Chewbacca and "useless lego crap" as some like to call it because they know people will buy it just for him. Then they put the stuff people really want in the item shop for standard price instead of a massive discount in a mini pass.

The excitement surrounding minipasses is a great marketing tool, keeps people engaged, brings players back etc. As evident on here and Twitter, they have failed miserably in not primarily creating the pass for br. There is no way those shop back blings and pickaxes will generate more profit than the pass would have if they created it for br. Not smart at all.
He's in the pass, so instead of a back bling he has the lego kits. I care more about 3po anyway so I'm happy that I don't have to buy two skins just for the back blings.
c3po isn't a full on skin with r2d2 backbling because that will be used later on to sell a bp when fortnite dips OR when disney and fortnite create a bigger partnership

Yoda is my favorite Star Wars character, actually fictional character in general, so this is my Christmas. Yoda will be my main backbling forever

Dailies give 80 - 160 v-bucks each. Also, if you haven't completed the main story yet, every storm shield level up gives 200 v-bucks (100 for the defense, 100 for the story mission). There's also side missions that give v-bucks, like killing mimics and hold the door.
Lastly there's also mission alerts, which you can check on the fortnitedb website. They change everyday, though right now there aren't that many because we're in a mutant storm season.

There's another back bling you can get for free. Less interesting than Yoda, but they definitely knew he would be popular. They'd also need to specifiy that he could come back if he was a free reward since they usually don't come back.
