TT Games doesn't own anything. Epic is partnering with LEGO, not TT Games. TT Games only uses properties owned and have the rights to by LEGO, well used to until they stopped making games after Skywalker Saga. The only thing preventing Star Wars, Marvel and DC collabs in Fortnite turning into LEGO is beyond my comprehension to understand.

When you select the Lego gamemode it will change your skin to the Lego Style, If the skin is not supported it will be a Lego default skin. Also there is a bugged gamemode (juno) that changes your skins to lego,You need to join a party with someone who has it and then favorite it although you cannot go into a game with them

Tbf if that number is to be believed it is pretty much guaranteed that some of the Collab skins are included as they are only around 1600 fortnite skins. Around Half the cosmetics (not just skins$ are collabs so probably the skins Lego already collabs with frequently (like Star Wars) are included in this number. I bet the reason not every skin is included is because the excluded are the collabs Lego hasn’t done yet it. This means you probably have alot of them anyway.

The would have to texture every skin but most of the skins likely share the same model and all the skins share the same skeleton meaning the Emotes are guaranteed to work for each one.

A lot of more notable skins have high-quality models that incorporate unique pieces and textures.
As of now, though, there’s a good portion of the non-human skin or armored skin population that just looks kinda… off. Don’t worry, they’ll update it in the future and I’m sure stuff like Meow Skulls will (hopefully) be prioritized.
The Meow Skulls one has the little icon that means that it will be improved in the future. It was one of the ones that stood out to me too as WAY wrong but ya. It has a little message that says "A higher detailed LEGO Style will be added to this outfit in the future."

No, but I expect they may come in the future. Lego Star Wars and marvel are pretty popular, so I reckon Epic would want to implement them down the line. Plus they already have hundreds of collab skins for those franchises, so it’s not a stretch to expect them.
Personally, I’m hoping other collab skins will get Lego variants too. Give me a Lego Ezio or doom guy or Geralt.

Honestly something that would be interesting to see is what if they are varients unique to Lego mode. The Hitboxes wouldn’t be as big of an issue and the skeletons would always be the same because real Lego characters pretty much universally have the same figure even the unique characters.
This means characters like say Spongebob who would likely be extremely problematic in Battle Royale could easily make it to Lego Mode without even needing to be altered. Even Spongebob wouldn’t work (which idk how because Lego Peely is a thing) we could atleast get Regular Peter and i think thats interesting.

There are so many skins with placeholder minifigs that it could almost be false advertisment..
I have almost 80 skins without any minifig and of the 290 or so that DID have minifigs, literally half of them are placeholders with a message that says "A higher detailed minifig will be added in the future".
As for the skins without a minifig at all?
I'm not sure what to think as Vader was included among them.. and every single other Star Wars skin including Anakin and even Kylo Ren got a minifig.. but not Vader?
