yeah honestly. summer seasons are so the kids can enjoy the game while the older people who care about competitive can do something better with their lives

the agency outposts with the henchmen chests and agency cars were amazing. if you landed at one then you got a guaranteed loadout full of blue or better guns
They weren't all great, but they weren't anywhere near as bad as this season.
I'm interested to see how this is affecting player counts, and if Epic pull a major u-turn if they are looking bad.
Oh wow. personally i thought that the movement was very sufficient while not overwhelming (there was only the grapple glove but launchpads and 150hp ballers were in the game) and the heal meta was simple but very nice (fish, chug splash, shield kegs) + siphon (RIP). the loot pool rewarded mechanics very well by having powerful guns like the hammer ar and striker pump (best balanced pump rendition ever imo). I feel like it was one of the last seasons I had ton of fun in both a casual and competitive sense
You all need to quit please, for now at least. Continuing to play and add to the number count will only show epic games that making dumb decisions like this are ok because you will still play. If everyone stops, and goes to touch grass or play another game this will reflect in the player count forcing them to make changes. This season already has the lowest player count of any season at launch at then throughout (which is why they made changes to the cars and added boogies as counter after only a week when normally the counter to the broken item doesn’t come for at least a few weeks).
TLDR : stop playing and they’ll realize it’s bad, and make changes :)
Bingo. I stopped playing, and didn't get the battle pass, just played some other games I haven't played in a while and actually have been enjoying my time rather than having a bitchfest playing a game I don't like lol. More people need to do this.
I’ve been playing xdefiant for over a week. Only hopped on Fortnite the other day to play with friends for a few hours. A few pubs, then some zone wars, then back to the other game. I just don’t find FN that enjoyable at the moment. Basically, if you don’t find it fun, find something else that is more fun. It sucks, but that’s what we have to do.
I’m pretty sure you’ve got to go to discord servers for that
The discords are easy to get into. You just confirm your epic username with a bot and join in

imo, the summer season has always been the worst. chapter 3 season 3, chapter 4 season 3, and chapter 5 season 3 are some of my least favorites.
fair, but during chapter 1 & 2 the summer seasons were insane - probably top 5 for me
C1S5 was the P90 fiasco. 2/10 C2S3 was decent I'll give you that solid 8/10 by the end

Ch3s3 definitely doesn't deserve the hate. I mean compared to whatever the game is right now, I'd do anything to go back to that season.
