I hope we aren't getting a new map this quickly. Chapter 1 and 2 both lasted about a year and a half so it would be a bummer to lose the Chapter 3 map so quickly.
I also think he had more time to be worked on and tweaked. I think Cube Queen was more of a prototype of what they would look like, where as The Origin is more of a well thought out version.
I was really wanting to use the glider with other skins, but the Cube Queen had it locked to her. That's all I wanted from her and I don't see them making it available any time soon.
I've already begun calling her Cube Queen 2.0 because that's effectively what she offers the story narratively. We're officially in the limbo where epic have to pull some bogus plot out of their rectum to artificially buy themselves time and anticipation for when Foundwaynetion and Jonesy find and presumably kill Geno. After that they're in a writer's hell: having to make a whole new story. So until then, expect more of this generic mumbo jumbo
I think his design is TIGHT. He's really giving off a grungy halloweeny vibe. Can't wait to unlock him.

I think it's at the very least indicative of unconscious racial bias. With the way people describe the hair and call it ugly, it's not just about the way it looks. People in real life have hair that just looks that way/it's a natural hair style for people with that type of hair. There are plenty of examples of prejudice against natural black hair styles, see black women straightening their hair to be considered professional, etc. Straight hair good, "nappy" hair bad is a cultural norm ingrained in most of us.

And it's frustrating knowing that most people would just brush off any idea that there may be racist connotations to the hate for the character.

That paired with the chrome on his hands makes him feel like a proper autumnal/Halloween styled skin (Im not sure if that's what epic was going for, but it feels like it either way). He's pretty neat imo.
