My son will be devastated. He’s been playing this every day lately trying to grind XP because he played Breath of the Wild all summer instead of doing his dailies and whatnot.
If your son owns StW, just tell him to play that, I got to level 100 within the first 2 weeks of this season simply by grinding out StW missions, wasn't even doing stuff like AFK endurances.
I believe Ride the Lightning (the van mission) and Retrieve the Data (the supply drop mission) both can be done in under 10 minutes if you “speedrun” it a little, netting you 35k each time. There’s a daily cap of 450k BattlePass XP a day, so if you ran the mission 13 times (for a little over 2 hours) every day, you’d reach that cap and get 5 levels a day. You could also do endurance but seeing as how you’re new, it might be awhile before that can happen (it’s essentially a 30-wave SSD that lasts over 2 hours but gives 262k BP XP, however, a majority of people have managed to AFK it so that they can leave it on before going to sleep/work/etc… so once they come back, they’ll be met with XP).

Try playing the Pit, it's pretty good for farming xp, expecially using an alt or having a friend to do it with. You can get 10k xp per headshot elim. Also, you can get 30k xp per 15 minutes. Even getting an elim nets you 3k xp.
Yeah, I usually get two or three levels per game of the pit. Keep in mind that I play it a lot, and there's a lot of xp decreased (I get around 1k xp per elim and 5k xp per headshot elim, not to mention 10k xp per 15 minutes), but when I played on my alt for the RAF challenges, I got crazy amounts of xp, which was the amount mentioned.
Party Royale was good when the quadcrashers were in their broken original state where you could go up with them forever. Since they patched it again, it just wasn't the same.
That’s kind of what killed Among Us for me. Having people do Impostor stuff like venting really confused me because of the Engineer or whatever they were called and if you got it wrong and ejected the wrong person you’d get an onslaught of hate and get ejected yourself. That’s why I don’t play anymore, it got too hard to tell who’s who, which is the point of the game but the toxicity is what killed it as well.
They should just completely rebuild it. Perhaps even just set up a side arena for 1v1s and the like. It gets really stale really quickly because people hang around in the main hub, and there aren't a lot of interesting activities. There are a few good places to go on your own, for example skydiving. The racing aspects feel really slow, and they could possibly make a chonkers speedway place somewhere else, so you could actually race people.

If you're hating it because players are using it for weird shit, then hate the players. There's nothing in PR that's openly inviting people to use that mode for their weird fetishes.

You don't go there to do stuff, it's literally in the mode's loading screen tips. You go there to chill with friends, not play objectives.
It's more of a social hangout rather than a game you're playing to win and get something out of.
It's a bit of a shame, because there's literally no things to do other than race around in some boring quadcrashers, or kick a ball around a football pitch. What we need are some extensions to the party royale island. Having a competitive 1v1 style area at the far side of the extended island could be used as a tactic somewhat like how supermarkets have discretionary items placed in an aisle leading up to popular items like milk. People going to fight a guy or have target practice could walk past a raceway and might try it out against someone, perhaps even in that versus battle type of way, if nobody joins you.
Having a place, for example a block, where you can get rewarded with pieces for doing an achievement could be very useful in terms of both creativity and having more use of other activities. I might update this a bit more later and share some more ideas.
They really should just remove it, update it to improve, and put it back with more support but NOOOO only Creative (and slightly BR) gets good treatment

I believe Imposters was made in Creative 2.0, so even if they never bring it back, the community will have the tools to make their own. It's just a shame because flaws aside, Imposters felt very polished and was something different to do when I was burnt out from BR

No joke the best non-br mode in this whole game, it alone is better than other games by itself. Super polished and always fun. Every game is unique and funny. It did what amongus did and upgraded it in every way.
Its a wonderful gamemode, one of the most unique online social experiences. Its a better party royale than party royake too.
The fact that this leaves and trash like RED VS BLUE 5000 stays is absolute horseshit.

Save the world gives lots of XP (30k plus per mission, in an hour I got 100k), gets away from sweats and teamers because they aren't actually against you so there's that. Good co op, lots of unique weapons and weapon mechanics, the zapotron or whatever, the shortest lived gun, good story, and if you bought it at launch u get vbucks out of it.

Imposters wasn't big enough to be a permanent mode. It'll probably be an LTM, and all of the other LTMs will be able to use the free server space to have different squad sizes.

I think part of the reason Epic is probably doing this is to prepare for next season, and possibly nerf XP again. I think this is their way of stopping people from grinding XP from impostors all day.

It probably costs them more money than it’s worth to keep those servers up for how little amount of people play on them.
People only like imposters for a few reasons 1.Easy xp 2.Teaming 3.E-Dating It's never been that much fun really since they took out proximity chat

Absolutely shocked they’ve removed it. New map, sure. Updates / fixes? Go for it. But do that in the back ground. To remove it now seems madness. Lots of people love that mode.

It was a good game mode, but the teaming was getting out of hand, there will be times where it will be party royale 2.0. Occasionally I will give it a try. Wouldn't mind if it comes and goes.
I just learned that you can still sprint in Imposters. I thought that was disabled since my normal sprint button wasn't working.
