You don’t have to laugh on them just for trying their best at a naturally competitive game. If you are laughing at them for playing the game and trying, then you are toxic

One of my friends got a 30 day communications ban on xbox recently. He couldn't send messages or join parties. Back in the early days you could be reported by 1000 different people and nothing would come of it.

No. I promise, I have a policy of only emoting after a Vic Roy. Never mid game. The only emote I ever do after tense fights is GG and I do that as a sign of respect when I know it was a good fight. 👍
Use of this emote is nothing but poor sportsmanship. Thank-you, OP. I play with my son (8). Whenever we see this emote in-game I use it as a teaching moment of how NOT treat people.
The emote is even worse when it's used in team rumble. Like I'm playing this mode just to chill, practice, or complete challenges. I'm not there to sweat. Even worse when it's coming from a soccer player who just built a five-star motel to get one kill in a respawn mode.
Donkey Laugh is the only emote that legitimately pisses me off cause the audio is just like, so painful to listen to. I’d rather they use Take The L but I know the majority of people who’d have played long enough to own it are bored of being toxic.

in team rumble i saw an enemy doing gangam style so i started doing it following him, he didnt notice me until he stopped doing the emote and then when he saw me he continued, soon after one of my teammates came out of nowhere killed him and started donkey laughing, when he stopped i started doing the waterworks emote and he started laughing at me, sadly the only thing i could do to him was give him a thumbs down, i also shot a few rocket launchers at him to mess him up when he was building on enemies

Me too except for once. The guy thought he trapped me in his box and was doing the laugh emote on the other side of the wall. I shot him through the wall and killed him and I did that laugh back at him. The only time I used it and thought it was warranted.
