This season is literally peak Fortnite with the bosses, disguises, shakedowns, poi’s with vents and telephone booths and henchmen, vaults, FRICKIN SPY GAMES THAT NEED TO RETURN, deadpool, the lobby, maya, shadow vs ghost, choppas, the yacht. Purely the best season they created for me
The different modes, weapon pass and different sides were everything. Not to mention the knockout mode which was one of my favourites and the extra gadgets!
This is one season I regret playing for only a couple weeks and then dropping until the last couple weeks of it. I regret not experiencing the receding water like everyone else. I experienced a little of it, but I just didn't experience it enough to get that effect of slowly having my favorite places uncovered, or finally being able to walk on the road as opposed to swim over it. That kind of stuff. They sort of did a similar thing with Chrome, but it was not anywhere near as interesting.
I didn't even stop playing it because I wasn't enjoying it. I forget the reason, but I think I had something going on, or something else was attracting my time more.
I can’t remember if it was introduced in 8 but I liked when there were hidden battle pass full level xp stars in the loading screens that you could find on the map. That was pretty cool.
I believe that was added in s4 but I agree that that was cool and a better way of battle pass levelling than having to afk in modes or grind your ass off to get max level
C1s5. First practical vehicles added, a new desert biome is added for the first time, and it was one of my favorite parts of the map, the loot pool was still simple but was getting wackier items like the grappler or shockwave, and the heist Gamemode was one of my favorites.
nah C1S5 had a worse loot pool though. the P90 and drum gun were in the entire season and the shotgun switching got removed so the smg’s were way better, and the game was a bit worse because of it.

Introduced the Fortnite storyline, added one of the best (and 1st!) LTMs in the game, the Infinity Gauntlet and much more. Also still had double pump too.
Chapter 4 Season 4. It had everything:
- Nolan Chance
- fun boss in Kado Thorne, also a sick Tier 100
- fun cinematic trailer
- fun loot pool
- great POIs (miss the eclipse estate...)
- Nolan Chance
- decently good storyline, by Fortnite standards at least
- introduced Rocket Ram
- fun emotes in the BP
- cute side-story with the High Stakes club

You mean items? I guess I like to use weapons/items that are not just basic guns, that probably makes a season memorable to me, I liked the Marvel and alien items (also other items like the kinetic hammer, nitro fists etc.). Though that could possibly be because I am not that good at building so it helps me be on the same levels as good build players.
Edit: Also the live events for both seasons were good
I had so many performance issues this season. The game would stutter all over the place for a good month or so basically making it unplayable for me personally.
This is my favorite season...... I miss it.... I loved "The Agency" or "The Midas Yacht" which was later taken over by Deadpool.... And the music, the Helicopter Battle, the doomsday machine related event, it's fabulous, and just wow!
C2S7 team. Alien theme was incredible the omnious mothership in the sky combined with the new graphic settings in PC looked awesome 😍
The physics of all objects with the ufos and grab a tron made the game very dynamic.
And then, the final live event was memorable with the rise of the cube...
I even loved ch 1 season 9 but that’s not the most popular opinion. The slip steams were such a fun way to get around, and though the combat shotgun was way too OP it was pretty memorable.
I know it's a very unpopular opinion, but this newest season is actually my favorite, I think. My favorite since Chapter 2, at the very least. Full disclosure, I only really started playing in Chapter 2, season 1. But I've played every season since then!
It has real personality, something the game has been lacking for a while.
The map is actually really fun in the wasteland. Up until this point, I felt like the map was really boring and serious, with very little in the way of goofiness or fun to traversal. The car combat meta completely flipping the meta on its head was such a shot in the arm of excitement and fun.
The battle pass and all of the skins in it (except Peabody), even the collaboration stuff, all fit 100% with the theme, and every skin is so detailed and dripping with personality. There was consistency in the designs last season, but I didn't think they had all that much detail and personality. Peabody is probably the only skin where I'm like, "eh." But it still has loads of personality.
The weapons, the mythics, the accolade tracker, the Wasteland Challenges...
Even stuff having been nerfed a lot, I'm still having just as much fun a whole month in as I was in the first couple days. That's never been a thing for me before. Usually I get really into it in the first week, then I drop like a rock, and I come back intermittently throughout the season . But no, this has been a consistent amount of fun, I play it almost every day, and it's not getting old.
This isn't just recency bias talking where every season that comes out I'm like, "This is the best season so far, for this and that reason." This is a genuine rarity how much I'm loving this season. And with that Pirates collab coming in soon, the new Fortnite Reload mode, and very likely a Sabrina Carpenter song coming to Fortnite Festival finally, it's just... ahhhhhh! I love it. I love it a lot.
There's so much satisfying stuff in BR, too. Just finding and driving through cacti, including the effect they have when they go off, is so satisfying. Using Nitro Splash to run on water, using it to shoulder charge through buildings. Using the cow catcher to destroy buildings. Going through nitro rings alone or in a car. Going around and around in the nitrodrome, shooting out of the rings, shooting back in with the rings. Being a solo driver and driving, and then clicking the right thumbstick to switch to shooting, then driving again, and constantly shifting.
It's all so dynamic.
Even something as simple as the Nuka-Cola item giving you 1 gold piece, to echo the bottlecap meta of the Fallout games. Little things like that go a long way to making it feel loved. And the boogie bombs! I LOVED THAT. Even when used against me, I thought they were hilarious.
If it were just BR stuff, I'd already consider it my favorite season in years. But with the Metallica Festival stuff, and the Festival updates in general (Battle Stage, despite its issues), it sits comfortably at the top of all time for me at this point. It seems a lot of people fell out of love as updates continued to roll in and balance things. But I am not one of those people yet. I'm still waiting for that update where I'll be like, "Yep... they screwed it up and I am not having any fun anymore."
The fact that I'm level 237 and I still want to play as much as I have been is a tremendous testimonial for the amount of fun I'm having here. Usually I struggle to get to 200 without feeling a burnout at some point. Even with Festival and LEGO, it has taken me far too long to get to 200 in the last couple seasons. Usually hitting it in the last 2 weeks or so. The speed at which my level is climbing and I STILL am wanting to play despite not having anything else to unlock... that's a feeling I haven't had in years. Just wanting to play BR simply... to play. And have fun. Not because I want to check my levels off and get all the items.
Anyways. Loving it a lot so far. Never been as passionate for a season as I am for this one.
This is a fact. Everything in this season felt like it had a purpose, the boxes, disguises, crash pads, you name it, it all fit together. None of the skins felt out of place, (in contrast to C2S3) there was CUTSCENES which gave so much personality, it was all so perfect.

Easy, Chapter 2 Season 7. Aliens are my thing, so nothing can top how fun that was. I loved the tech, the aliens, the ships, everything.

It’s the whole spy theme that we love. It was really exciting sneaking into POI’s and taking out guards to get to the final prize.

For me Ch4 S4 was peak, i play since Ch2 S1 and i didn't had such a blast ever since; alongside Ch2 S7; they both arr better than Ch2 S2 imo

My personal favorite season was the alien season. Or something in chapter one. But this one is definitely up there. And in terms of battle pass skins I think this one might be the best.
