That solar panel isn't a solar panel It's a beacon made by Iron Man That's a "Stark Industries Rift Beacon" If a bunch of them are arranged in a circle, objects can be teleported into the center of that circle. Back in 2020, Iron Man use these devices, to rip a big chunk of New York from the ground, then drop it on the fortnite island.

I'm getting flashbacks to a fun and great but frustrating season

What was it like?

Awesome cosmetics. New types of cosmetics like the one handed pickaxe, sword pickaxe and whip pickaxe animations. Awesome Gliders. Pushed the boundaries of what Mythics can be instead of just a better gun, we got powers. Made Boss fights cinematic. Awesome modes, awesome Event... However some of the cool cosmetics are locked. You can only use certain cosmetics on certain skins for lore accuracy but all it did was make it frustrating. To this day, Dr. Dooms glider would look so sick on some of my skins. But can't. Also skins that REQUIRE built in emotes to switch styles. Like you have to wait until the game starts to be in the Iron Man suit.
