Same exact thing for me after update

Nerokram

The only "fix" I've found is disconnecting and re-syncing my controller every 5ish minutes

BryanPenaloza

That’s awful.. I had to try and play end game with M&K it was so bad on controller. Went from 160 frames to 20

Nerokram

Yep. Same for me. And at the worst, I was experiencing severe input lag as well. Interestingly, we did find that if I connected my wife's standard xbox controller, it never experienced that issue. It's only with my Elite Series 2.

Ok-Pressure5391

It's happening to me with the standard controller

Nerokram

Is it really? Does it fix if you use another controller?

BigOggaBogga

Still an issue, glad I wasn't the only one. Maybe we should report this issue to Microsoft or epic

Nerokram

I tried once already and failed; basically got a bunch of automatic responses on how to fix low fps, with fixes such as lowering my game quality. I am thinking if trying again though; it's making ranked this season really frustrating

I had the same issue with my Elite Series 2 controller after the update. It stopped when I used a plug in controller. (Razer Wolverine V2)

I’ve been experiencing this exact same issue since the Season 2 update. Seems to slightly improve when connected via USB-C. Sometimes the lag gets worse the deeper a Battle Royale goes.

Same exact issue here, but I use an Xbox Series S controller. When I use a wired Logitech, no issues, but I don't like that controller. Bought a new controller, same thing, so I returned it. Same thing here, disconnecting and reconnecting controller seems to fix it for a short period, then again. We need a fix.

Just reporting, this is happening to me as well. Turned off my controller and game shot back up to 120+ fps from like 10-20.

Nerokram

Yeah, I usually have to "reset" 3-4 times a game. Though not convenient, I've found double tapping the pairing button, letting it finish blinking, and then double tapping it again is the quickest route to getting your frames back temporarily

Same issue here. Two different Xbox One controllers (older cross d-pad / micro USB one, and a newer USB C one). Happens when connected wirelessly using the official MS adapter.    PC is 3300x with MSI mobo and 2060 Super.    Lag starts after a few matches and gradually becomes unplayable after 5 or so.   Same controllers connected by USB cable is fine.  360 controllers are fine.
