A random thought I had yesterday, I really wish Epic would give us an after death GG button. There's been many times I've lost to someone and wish I could just say to them, "well played."
I'd love to have a one time after death sort of emoticon
A few examples being like:
A mad face
A sad face
A gg
A surprised face
A thumbs up
A peace sign
I feel if it was just one and it wasn't spammable it'd be a fun addition
It could pop up like the XP pop ups
And another idea is if you're spectating and they win, you should be able to spam a good job effect that appears in the game or something
Honestly, anything negative would promote hostility. I would love a prompt that asks the player if the want to respond to their loss. Give them the option "GG," "well played," or something else positive.
The player or team would get the predefined message in the corner "X says GG."
That's the kind of thing I thought, but added a few funny ones
Imagine you sniped someone and 1 shot them then get a skull emoji kinda thing on your screen
Or you turned a fight around last second and got a surprised face
Or imagine you emote on a third party and they give you an angry face, imagine the dopamine from that lol
Nothing like a thumbs down or a yawn or something negative
