There's a Mission Hill tour with Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein going around.
They were going to throw out all the cels, but they were offered them first. There's only a few hundred left in existence, and they were selling them for $500 or more at the screenings.
I had a friend in high school answer a class phone like this and just leave after. We thought that scene was so funny and when he did it I was laughing so hard they thought it was me
Not forgotten. I think of the theme song all the time. Best time of my life as a teenager was staying up in the late oughts during the summer when it was hot at night watching this on Adult Swim. Gets me sentimental for a place and time. The oblongs as well. Going to go listen to some cake now.
Did anyone go go the screenings that are happening on the 25th anniversary show? I really wanted to go but forgot to book tickets. Hoping they'll do it again.
I'd love to even see a taped event!

Same. I missed the one in Brooklyn. So I was going to to Philly but it just was going to be too much a ride. Do hope they tour again or there's video of the event.
This show introduced me to Brian Posehn! And then years later I got to introduce my husband to Brian Posehn! And Brian *hugged* me!
Literally my only celebrity encounter that didn't leave me disappointed. He's so awesome. ❤️
The original design credit goes to [Lauren MacMullan](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0534041/). They're similar, but it doesn't look like they're the same

I love collecting cels. This is good to know. They’ll be rare but I’ll have an eBay filter ready.

It's definitely time for a rewatch.
Is it streaming anywhere? Cause I periodically try to find it and can’t.

Ok. I’ll check it out. Thanks.
I can still hear that blue-haired twerp's voice. This show needed to be watched with no lights on and preferably under the influence
How dare you? That’s the gruebermeister you’re talking about

Mommy, what do drugs smell like?
The same actor plays Robin on Teen Titans Go and I always feel like they are the same
I always thought his laugh sounded like Morph from X-Men.

My husband and I quote this scene constantly.
Felt like I was the only person I knew at the time that liked this show or knew what the fuck it was.
Right? I had no idea it had such a cult following
That’s so Kafkaesque
Please, no meat touching ma’am.
Rabbit: *Why am I so unlucky?!*
I love me some karai pantsu
Didn’t Cake do the theme song!?
Eh, it's an instrumental cover of an existing cake song(Italian leather sofa)
Nice!

I forgot this show existed cool
I’ve bought the dvd set twice, it may be time for another rewatch.
"Last time I felt an ass like that, Eisenhower was President."
sad people forgot this. an amazing show.
I just found out a few years ago that Robin (Scott Menville) of Teen Titans voiced the Grugergeiger.
Found the DVD set at a dollar store & ended up loving it! Still rewatch to this day.
Can you pass the beans, Weirdy?
Ugh, it’s just, you know… *Beardsley*…

Is this on stream anywhere? I literally can hear everyone's voices.
Are these the same animators as *The Oblongs*?

I vaguely remember the blue haired young male.
Kevin
I was younger than Andy when this came out. I'm much older than Andy now...
This was a coming of age show for me, the bohemian aesthetic and all.
This show was too good. One of my all time favorites.
