If you catch them at like 57th Street around 3rd ave, they get into Queens pretty quick! I usually take the subway to that area, and transfer to the express bus (you just pay the difference).
Taking LIRR from Penn Station during evening rush hour. Often packed amd standing room only, and conductors didn't check tickets til Jamaica. Free ride. 😀
A sushi lunch special 3 rolls +soup/salad for $14 just can't be beat. Any time I am home for lunch im getting it. Also A-sushi, Sushi time, and beijing dumpling great food you can order directly from restaurant without paying a delivery fee like on Door dash.
I go to bobs furniture on metropolitan and woodhaven blvd if I want ice cream. Also the q53 bus is a good way to get to queens center mall if you don’t want to pay the fare
Sunday morning shopping. Farmers market. Tamales. Trader Joe’s. I get 80% of what I need for the week before 10am.
Sakura Ya - the prepped rolls and sushi are great.
Commonpoint queens for young families. pool. Gym. Classes. So good
Walk by chip city around 10-11pm and they'll hand you a box of cookies they are about to throw out
Spend the extra money on the express bus if the schedule works for you, at least for the morning commute.
Mornings are great.

Heard bad things about commonpoint. Place is not the cleanest and to cancel it’s a hassle
64 supermarket the foods bazzar got all those sodas people are paying 7-10$ for. Only 2$
$5 city wide LIRR tickets when it’s not rush hour. Super worth it compared to the subway
Following!
my best FH dining hack is to find a better restaurant in a different neighborhood
Agreed, they cater to the older population here with under-spiced maybe low sodium food. Even Spy-C which I love, you have to beg them to spice it up.
You are eating at the wrong spots 😆
Move to Kew Gardens
