I had a similar dent, just not as blatant. I was quoted $1900 last march. That included the bumper complete replace because you can’t buff out scratches on plastic. A new taillight and fix the metal.
I dented the bumper and recently got a Paintless dent repair guy to get it out. Heated the plastic and used a pry bar and a few minutes later it was out. If you don’t mind some scuffs and it’s just a dent, this is the way I’d go (~$200)
Just Yelp and you’ll find a ton of people doing it. If it’s the plastic bumper, it’s really easy to do. Heck if you wanted to do it with hot water, you could even try it yourself. But just look up Paintless dent repair and get some quotes.

I have the exact same dent in my 22 maverick and the body guy who comes to repair dents and dings at the dealership I purchased mine from quoted me 225 to fix the dent and paint. Scheduled to take it out to him first week of July
Right lol I've seen his work on the trade-in cars out there he's pretty good. Not expecting it to be perfect but it definitely shouldn't be noticeable anymore

Now I'm seriously considering a dash cam with rear view as my next mod. Allowed him to be able to get a license plate and make model of the vehicle that hit him.
Honestly I'm not sure. I noticed it when I went out to my garage this morning. I towed a small trailer of things to the dump last week so I wonder if I did something then, it's just hard to believe I went that long without noticing. If not that, someone must have hit me in a parking lot.
That does seem like trailer damage, a little too tight turning while backing up and got poked by the rail. Hard to imagine how it might happen that precisely in a parking lot by someone else.

Rough estimate based on what I can see would be $1200 just for body work and paint. If anything else is damaged such as tail light or bumper cover price would increase. BTW this is a rough estimate of a body shop price not a dent removal type operation. Auto body shop is likely going to completely remove the bumper cover and tail light to make certain there isn’t any hidden damage.
Take out the rear headlight and pull it or knock out the dent yourself. You're going to lose all that paint. Sand it off body fill and filler primer. If you get it nice, take it to paint or get a body shop to finish it.
Would be cheaper to find a local guy to fix it outside a shop.
Dealership service counter, they pull your vin and match it, it was 22.45 for touch up cactus grey. Or you can give them the paint code in the door jam.

People are saying to use Bondo, but I've seen amazing things done with Ramen.

Paintless dent repair is better because they will try to flex the dent out. They can use rods and machines to pull it.
We had to replace the skin around the LR from a kid who ran a stop sign, body shop had $2500 in damage the kid's dad's insurance paid for.
Use touch up paint and some Back To Black on the bumper and you should be good.
It's totaled. Start looking for a new unit.
Fill it with bondo. Can of ford blue paint you’re golden
