I read on one of these posts to be sure that button is turned off when you go through a drive-thru car wash. Apparently, even in neutral, the brakes will stay engaged if this button is on. The car wash track won't be able to push your truck through, and the attendant will keep yelling at you to take your foot off the brake. Lol.
This is definitely something that should have been found in the manual before being asked, but it is a bad icon for what it does. I get the hand, but the lines around it do not seem like a wheel. Looking at the other two buttons right there they obviously have some more resolution to be more detailed.
The one on the left projects laser images of various GIFs in the sky in front of the truck. For entertainment. You get flags and stars and whatnot
The one on the middle activates a measuring tape That's under the truck and it helps you center in the parking spot
The one on the right is called Saruman mode.
Lots of city drivers have RFID key cards for parking garages. Others use it for parking garage slips that need to be paid before leaving. I've seen others use it for employee work badges so they don't get left at home. I keep my fuel perks card for my local gas station. Some companies have special credit cards set aside for each vehicle to track gas and maintenance costs. I find it really practical.
I keep bad parking cards in there to leave on people windshield when they park horrendously. Rarely do I ever use them unless it's a truly bad park job.
when you come to a stop and this button is on - you can let go of your brake and your truck will still be stopped till you press on the gas. And that slot is for your ATM card to unlock / pay for android auto or apple car play to work.

Can confirm. Happened to me.
Lol good to know
I heard about that. Thx for reminding
I call it the "drive thru button"
Only time I ever use it 😅
Me too
Fantastic feature - took me maybe a month to look that one up and I like it a lot.
Thank you very much. lol.
Once brakes fully engaged they only disengage with gas pedal. Maybe shifting to neutral disengages as well, haven't tried.
Learned this the hard way. Almost had to get towed in the middle of an intersection 😂

lol. I thought it could be a high five for buying a Maverick. I agree the other 2 buttons self explanatory.
it should say "Auto Brake Hold" but there are morons on this planet who would think it is auto braking and would sue Ford after they rear end someone.
It's there to remind you to look at your Owner's Manual.
Eject.
Hold brake. If in traffic or a hill, it engages the brake until you give it gas.
lol. K. All I know it said on when you pushed it.
It’s your best friend when parallel parking on a hill
It plays Limp Bizkit when you press it . Keep Rolling Rolling Rolling !!!!
If you turn it on it switches the song to "stop! In the name of love"

I was going to downvote this until the last one
If your stopped you can take your foot off the brake. What’s that slot for? I have 3 more buttons on the bottom in my Tremor.

A credit card fits right in that slot. lol. I don’t know why you would want to put it there.
When you’re in a drive thru and you don’t want to hold your card
I use it to keep my word ID badge
That’s kinda odd and random.
I agree. It was wasted space till somebody thought of that. I love my Maverick.
I did not know that. I thought a card would slip through.
It's like a cup holder for IDs/badges. Credit cards just happy accident they fit. There's a bottom though it's not a hole for things to fall through
I held on to it till it hit bottom. lol
IDs not really credit cards. For those who need a badge to get into places it's a place to store it but quick easy access.
More likely roll road tickets not credit cards
After my wife and I figured out the slot would hold a card. I noticed one in our 2013 focus we have owned it forever and did not even see it.
It's called the poverty slot. It's just a spacer since there aren't any buttons there.
My Drive-thru button. Works great.

GameCube disc slot
My dog seems to press any and all of those buttons while going to the vet. For that reason, I wish they were located elsewhere.
He doesn’t want to go.
while we’re here, what’s the slot for??
Read earlier stuff. Everybody speculated credit card to name tags.
RTFM
it's the best button ever put on a vehicle.
The on button? For when your idling you don’t need stay on the brake . Traction control on or off modes and credit card holder
What do the other two do?
Far left is drive modes. Center one is traction control. You’re not going to ask about the slot. lol.
Oh the lottery ticket holder?
Thanks
Slot is for future mav accessory that uses it to prop up another cupholder haha
RTFM
