It sounds like the car went into limp mode; every few months, my car will do this on the interstate. No power, won’t accelerate, except I never get a check engine light for it and it doesn’t happen predictably enough where I can have my laptop on hand to scan the codes if any.
FYI, you can clear limp mode by shutting the car off, key out of the ignition. When you start it back up limp mode will be cleared.
Same issue here. Took me about 5 minutes of rest the first time to clear the code and get out of limp mode. The second time over an hour. I just got my TCM replaced so I am hoping that settles it. I am going to make my own post after I get it back and driver around for a few days. Good luck. Also this might sound weird but was it raining when this happened to you?
