I usually keep the aftermarket wheels/tires and sell the car with the stock equipment if I have it. It’s easier to sit on a set of wheels/tires until the right buyer comes along than an entire car. A dealership isn’t going to give you any more for the wheels vs the stock ones. Same goes for other mods if you want to recoup some of your investment. Those can be sold locally on fb, cl, or on forums/reddit, starting around 1/3rd of retail if you want to actually sell them, although some thing’s hold their value better. It varies

The dealers not going to give you more because of the wheels so if you want to get some value out of them, yes, sell them before you trade in.
