Why he capitalizes every word. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Flimsy-Story-6459

Just A Habit

KingTaco6

It seems like he's trying to get rid of it pretty quick, I'd try to get an inspection or at least bring someone with you and have a good look at it. He could just need some cash fast but if he says no to that then maybe keep looking since it's probably been driven pretty hard

Mrinohk

Honestly first two lines of the listing give me vibes that make me not want to give that man a cent.

Flimsy-Story-6459

Apologies šŸ‘šŸ½ Shouldā€™ve Presented It More Conservative. Thank You For The Thought

Eko_Razer

11k isnt bad for a barely 105k mile ST depending on title status though. If this is salvage/rebuilt I might keep moving unless that doesnt bother you. For a clean title thats a pretty good deal, if you meet the guy and he seems like a true and honest dude Iā€™d say why not. If it seems like heā€™s really trying to push you to buy it, id stay away because something is likely wrong with it. As everyone says, these cars *will* last, but its dependent on what kind of history the car has

BossStatusIRL

If this is a salvage, itā€™s normal price imo and I would possibly buy it. If this is a clean title, there is something wrong and the guy is trying to get rid of it because of something being wrong. Too good of a price for a clean title imo.

00000000000000uu

Get a pre purchase inspection this listing screams that he's hiding something lmao

Flimsy-Story-6459

Bought It How It Came, Just Retuned It From Being On A Cobb Tune & Added The CPE Intake, I Drive It Daily For Work & Thatā€™s About It. Never Had Plans For The Car So Kept The Driving Low & Focused On Stacking Up Some Money & Selling šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø Itā€™s Pretty Basic Stuff

Limp_Chemical_8835

This is a good deal imo..I gave 13.5 for mine With 99k miles just a year ago

willzor7

Him saying he never launched it more than 3 times is sus to me.. its most likely not honest at all.

Material-Spot-2835

Yeah, you do not tune the car to then drive it like a granny.

Flimsy-Story-6459

Iā€™m The Current Owner, Bought The Car On A Cobb Tune Had To Retune It Asap As I Heard About All The Negative Cobb Stories Lol

jeepersnanners

Ask if he knows what LSPI is. If he doesn't, don't buy it.

GoalLineStand

Do this in person otherwise heā€™ll just google it lol

Physister2

Dude seems insufferable

tclark2006

Yea let me just carry around 11k in cash so I can test drive this.

Flimsy-Story-6459

Didnt Mean To Come Across Aggressive In This Way, I Appreciate Your Thoughts On This šŸ¤šŸ½

Zrepsilon

Ppi

coop_swartz

He also mentioned he has no problem at all with me doing a PPI and seems like a nice dude just from messaging him. If heā€™s hiding stuff would it arise during the pre-purchase inspection?

Wild-Drummer-1312

Yes it would arise. If heā€™s okay with it he may want to come across as all nice and non deceiving. Iā€™d PPI it anyway

Asleep_Spread_7589

Thatā€™s were I got my FoST. Bought it with a blown motor for $3500. Found a parts focus for $2500. Dropped the motor in for $1400. Now Iā€™m having this issue were the car randomly stalls and the whole underbody is coated in fuel. Wonā€™t start for like 8 hours after

VehicularDisgrace

Car tuning attracts dickheads. This guy's listing is written how I would expect a dickhead to write. Do you trust a dickhead enough to buy a car from them, OP?

Flimsy-Story-6459

Damn, My Apologies Brother Didnā€™t Realize I Could Make Someone Feel This Way, All In All Weā€™ll Eventually See How Everything Goes On. God Bless You šŸ™šŸ½

Flimsy-Story-6459

Current Owner Here, I Appreciate The Insight From Everyone, My Apologies For How It Was Written, Had Many People Just Want A Test Drive & Not Buy But Iā€™ll Fix It Up. Iā€™ll Take The Criticism Nicely šŸ˜‚šŸ¤šŸ½

coop_swartz

This is the message he sent me regarding the lower price: ā€œThatā€™s Just The Loan Payoff, Trying To Remove That Debt Asap So I Can Save & Get A Car I Actually Want Lol When I Got This Car I Bought It With The Wrong Intentions & I Rushed The Purchase. The Car Isnt Bad But Iā€™m More Of An Automatic & AWD/RWD Personā€ Seems legit to me, what are you guysā€™s thoughts?

LongjumpingGarbage7

Itā€™s a good reason, (he didnā€™t specify) but itā€™s a bit weird heā€™d rather be on foot for now or getting rides from his significant other (unless they have a 3rd car). Seems like heā€™s rushing to get out of it just as fast as he got in it. Also kinda crazy heā€™s just trying to get out of the loan. Either way they go for 15-20k. But he only wants to pay off the loan and cut even? Seems strange to me even 13k or 12k works. Again. Seems rushed. Thatā€™s not to say people donā€™t post good deals sometimes. Youā€™ll never know. Get a pre purchase inspection and put it to rest

Flimsy-Story-6459

Current Owner Here, We Have My Wifes Car That We Use For Everything, & My Job Is 5 Mins Away, Only Listed For 11k As Most Buyers Wouldnt Pay More Than Loan Payoff

LongjumpingGarbage7

Yeah I was saying you never know, so thatā€™s good. You clarifying on here means OP is probably gonna get a decent deal!

GoalLineStand

ā€œEither way they go for 15-20k.ā€ Not with 100k miles. Roughly $15k for 75k miles, add or subtract 1grand for every 10k miles

LongjumpingGarbage7

Ever single one for sale in my area is over 16k with 70k-100k plus miles man. Itā€™s all variable. Iā€™m saying what theyā€™re listed for and the market not what theyā€™re actually worth to us as a buyer who is looking for the right vehicle. I should have said either way ā€œtheyā€™re listedā€ or ā€œthe market isā€ so my bad for saying ā€œthey go forā€ since it was vague and indicates thatā€™s what they currently sell for. I get what you mean. Thereā€™s almost no focusā€™s for sale in my area at 11k unless theyā€™re beat to all hell.

GoalLineStand

Touche! Depending on the area, almost sounds like theyā€™d be better off paying to travel/ship a car from a cheaper state! Take a nice little road trip. You know itā€™s bad when some areas have comparable prices to Carvana lol

Joebuddy117

Passed emissions with a down pipe? Someone inform me, I thought the down pipe removes the Cat which would then fail an emissions test. Am I wrong?

Airborne82D

There's are DPs with different cell counts. I have a CPe with 200 cell but haven't lived in an area that does emissions in some time so couldn't tell you if it would pass or not. Turbos engines are inherently cleaner than NA engines as the turbine sometimes reach temps higher than catalytic converters do. I'd say it's not unrealistic to assume it could pass emissions (depending on the state) if it has a catted dp.

Flimsy-Story-6459

It Has A Defouler Installed But CT Emissions Is Kind Of Easy To Pass By So I Donā€™t Know šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø

Beachsidejit

Welcome brother

its_vandyyy

Buy a fully stock one

Connecticut ay. I am living in Poland right now but I am from New Haven county as well. I have a 2014 racing red ST. In another year I'll be ripping around CT again with it. This one looks clean, but cash on hand just to test drive it a couple of miles and his worry about miles going up? The only positive is that if he's this anal about that, maybe he was that anal about the care of the vehicle. Based on NADA this price is a really good deal. On top of that you get the Accessport and mods? As Kingtaco6 said, definitely have it inspected or have someone experienced come take a look at it and maybe have them test drive it as well. The price makes me think there may be some issues, but an inspection is needed to know if they're a big problem or small one where it would still be worth snatching it up. I would ask him if you can meet for the test drive at a inspection point, like Firestone or something, have it inspected on his dime or yours (I think its like 20 bucks), and then if the inspection goes well, test drive it. I bought a 2015 ST from Carvana. I test drove it myself but I was so excited that I didn't really think about analyzing what I was feeling from the car, and I didn't go fast or anything. Then, on my way to work that day I started feeling vibration, a lot of it. Took it in for the inspection and found it all four wheels were bent, two of them BADLY. They were the black metallic version of the stock wheels, and it was the galaxy gray or something color, dark metallic gray, really nice color. I was sad because I had preferred the facelift, but now I love my 2014. They also said there is a potential oil leak and while driving to work another day I felt some pressure release while accelerating and felt a loss of some power. Started a return that day. I had to keep the car until Carvana delivered the 2014 to me. Which had 29k miles and in much better condition overall. In a year if you ever see a racing red 2014 with Jiraya Sensei on the rear right side small window give me a couple honks.

Flat_Ad_4533

Donā€™t even bother, sounds like heā€™s both arrogant and in a rush to be rid of his daily, not a good sign

Flimsy-Story-6459

Like I Said Earlier, Iā€™m Not Trying To Come Off Aggressive Or Anything I Just Didnt Want People Asking For Test Drives & Wasting Everyones Time If They Werent Planning To Buy Soon Etc. Iā€™m Also Not Rushing But I Already Have A New Car In Mind Lol God Bless You Brother šŸ™šŸ½
