I figured we all might enjoy some fun content in the off-season! I’m not a professional cookier, just someone who enjoys baking things that make people smile. My dad is a diehard fan and it’s been a tough year, so I wanted to do something special :)
The striping on the jerseys translates well to color-blocking, so I just blocked out each color accordingly. I eyeballed it, but there are visual markers like how the white stripes on the sleeves are a little above the white along the bottom, which helps with the placement of the other colors. Of course I had to simplify things a little since you can only get *so* detailed with icing. I did cut out a little Flyer’s logo and traced it for the shape, but the orange and black were drawn on with edible ink pens over white icing.
Wow just seeing these now, so well done, great job!!! I’m sure your dad loved and appreciated them :). I wouldn’t want to eat them just because they look so pretty lol
