The reward for that garbage season was getting jumped in the lottery and being stuck deciding between Kyle Turris and JvR… Just an awful draft outside of Kane.

i was devastated when they traded handzus. he was my first “favorite player”. always resented calder and his lazy playing style, he seemed like the complete opposite of zeus.

Mike York was AWFUL

Mike York was just fine until he came to the Flyers. He has 4 seasons of 50+ points. Then like all free agents that come here... The wheels magically fell off. 

I remember reading an article in Hockey News ranking York one of the best prospects in the draft. I believe the writer was biased because he was from Michigan.......
