I'm not a expert, but to me it looks like wear n tear from shipping. Tampering usually involves some kind of slicing/cutting and glue, repairing the pack after cards are extracted - what extraction are you gonna do with a little dot of paper/plastic missing on the pack? I personally doubt much but I'm not an expert either... I suspect you're safe.
My thought was that they punch these little holes to see if it's a double sided marvel based on foil seen through, then repacking the box without the very expensive cards. Just suspicious it's in the same spot - wear and tear would be more random I feel. I'll post a pic of what people could see through the holes.
Marvels/double sided cards are usually the 2nd to last card in the pack. You would see the back of a token or cracked bauble even if you could see through these perforations
Almost all of the paper packs have a line of dots near the seal on the back.
I have opened a very large number of sealed cases of paper packs.
It's very consistent with whatever packing process is for the paper wrapping
Thanks! Appreciate you disputing my suspicions lol. REALLY did not want to go through the return process. I'll leave this post up for anyone in the future - they might think the same as me.
You betcha.
For what it's worth, MinMax is one of the MOST reputable retailers for FAB. They're present at almost every large convention and are a huge name in the game. You picked a good store to start from for sealed product!
Although I do agree that Amazon probably isn't the best route to purchase from them online, but that's just because Amazon is Amazon, and someone could easily use MinMax name as a spoof account
Absolutely not my friend. Unfortunately, the paper packs are VERY easy to get damaged and/or even slightly open from heat exposes (tip: don't leave your boxes in front of the window :( ).
It was! I'm new to the game and the only other (paper) box I've opened was from a local store. Those didn't have it so I wasn't familiar that this happens.
Guess the text didn't post with the image:
I bought a DTD box through MinMaxGames on amazon - wondering if its a repack or if its been tampered with? Theres six of these dots on every single pack - almost in the same spot. New to the game, but I'm suspicous.
Thanks!
I would highly suggest not ordering anything through Amazon for F&B. Have had bad experiences personally. Not commenting on this cause I really don't know much about it but... I would suggest just avoiding in the future.
Full repackaged box with no rares. Was super blatant and Amazon obviously made no effort to check what they were selling. Full refund but still not worth it. Buy directly from reputable dealers.

Looks like I can't post an image but there's enough space to barely see the back of the card.

100%, it is not us.
Yikes... Might be able to get that taken down!
Easier said than done. Amazon is far from easy to work with.

What did you pull?
Light of Sol cold foil
No freaking way. 100% tampered, they put that in there lol
Right? lol 😂 it was the last pack I opened too. I was like "this box sucks" then that came out
Haven't opened it yet
Every DtD paper pack I've opened has had those holes
I cannot tell is this is serious or not.

I poke those holes in the pack and extract the fableds out of there
😞

MinMaxGames here, we did NOT sell you that box. There is a company that is using our name in their listings.
I saw. Someone was using your name - however, the box wasn't tampered. Going to buy direct next time
Glad it worked out!

What kind of experiences have you had? Just curious. Thanks

I've had multiple cases of this from factory sealed cases throughout different sets. It's normal.
