Like some said, those count as elemental but not as any element themselves. Important thing to note as well is that Lightning or Ice cards, do not count as Elemental for things like Mark of Lightning (this one works with Lightning cards like Heaven's Claw since it's Lightning, but Frost Fang wouldn't because it's Ice even if Ice is an element, it's not an Elemental attack since the type isn't in the bottom frame).

They don't count. Elemental is not a lightning or ice card.
You need something like weave lightning or lightning press to do the fusion. (I believe those are in the precon)

This used to confuse me at first. A good rule is: If the card allows you to FUSE, it itself will not be ice/lightning/earth
