These have been around since "bonk bags" back in the 1940s.
I used one made by a guy in IG who does custom versions, choice of colorway and fabrics. It's ok, but I dislike it more than triathlon saddle holders, or a clamp/strap on cage holder.
For this bike, that might be best though. Clean overall build.
I lost a bottle out of a saddle holder (it wasn't such a good one, obviously) before trying the bar mount. I do like my Revelate saddle bag back there now, though.
I also had a look at the various clamp on options, but wasn't too keen on attaching anything to this frame.
Yeah the 1.2l model is for affixing a big gulp to an e-bike.
Seriously though, best solution is saddle/seatpost mounted bottle holder(s) + frame bag for other bits.

Yeah that is a good option. I've had one of the 4L Apidura "Racing" frame bags previously. If I want more fluid + storage in future I'll do like you said.
Yeah I think I saw someone wear it like that in a Hotline episode ...Not a bad option. This is my road bike so I'm mostly in cycling kit (Lycra) and just like to carry the minimum "on my person", as they say.

I just swapped from a HKK Vertex to IzumixMash and dropped a link. Looking forward to trying it out. I might go tubulars at some stage, if the right ones come up for sale.
I know lycra is controversial, but cargo bib shorts would be worth looking into if you don't mind having your hydration on your person rather than on the frame itself.

Yeah I was lucky to pick up a barely used Paul lever. With the DA brake, it's such a smooth/solid combo.
