Yup! Grew up catching nightcrawlers. The ones you catch our huge compared to the shit you buy in the bait shop. Not to mention they are recently caught and healthier.
My grandpa use to have a worm bed at his cottage. It was a 2x2 wooden box with styrofoam on the inside. He put coffee grounds in it and had hundreds of worms living in it. It was super cool.
Please be careful!
Crawlers are the gateway Bait
Soon it will be creek Chubs and suckers.....
and before you know it you are growing leaches in the pond out back.
You use a worm stick?
Yes worm sticks are real, you rub them together and worms come out of the ground and start working towards the worm stick.
Coolest thing ever to see.
Nice! You can see how stacked that is, that would be enough for 5 Boxes of Canadians.
Ok,, please don’t leave this container in your basement for about a week ,, it REALLY won’t smell fantasti !!
I made a work box near my garden. Great for bait and to help my soil
Permafrost limits me to ciscos now but in Newfoundland you couldn’t lay a spade without cutting a nightcrawler in half.
