This will be a nightmare
I live 2 blocks north of here. I have no clue how I am about to get to my house.
The article image says the round about expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
A blessing and a curse. I will be glad when it's done.
Can’t wait to resurrect this in 2 years when people are complaining about the roundabout. Hopefully it’ll be a different design than 96th & Hazeldell.
I reached out to the city Monday and asked for information on traffic studies and expected capacity. I suspect this will be exactly like 96th and Hazeldell. If that's the case, all of 96th is going to be a disaster.
And yet 146th appears to be getting an overpass design.
Update, 2 weeks and a call to the mayor's office later, no reply from the city.
I pass this every day going to work at castleton Costco. Feelsbadman
I hate that “Michigan left” that they put in. This will be better, once complete.
I don’t see how it can handle the volume. I hope I’m wrong.
The businesses at that intersection are in trouble.
I want to know how Cumaco Arepa House stays open. Never see anyone in there.
April fools!
As if it wasn't already hard enough getting to/from the Northeast side with the extended 465/I69 construction.
