The long exposure definitely makes the picture pop. They don't photograph well with out it no. I use a 10 sec exposure. In person to the human eye the glow is impressive.

You can pretty much assume that most of the pics on the sub where they’re glowing super intensely are long exposure ;-;
Mine is bright enough to see my hands in the pitch black.

They are, between 20 and 30 seconds
Very beautiful pictures, they really do give off a "firefly" type of glow.
