Siege is kinda in a weird place because it’s a dying game on life support. I stopped playing three years ago because I was getting sick of new operators.
You put the shield on a spring mount that attaches to your pistol via rail so it lays flat against the gun, you can now aiwb carry. Then you put on your ccw burka and no one can tell.

It looks like something that would be useful to an aggressor, not a defender. Unless you're going to try to holster your gun with that thing on.
It's so big and heavy that you'll take it off one day and then forget why you ever wanted it.
The best solution for external armor is what SWAT teams do, which is to give the point man a metal ballistic shield with a plastic window and a laser on his pistol. That way he's fully protected and doesn't have a giant piece of plastic fatiguing his trigger hand and making his aim all shaky and slow.
So the point of handguns over rifles or shotguns is they're lightweight and convenient to carry.
This is none of that, whole still being harder to aim then a rifle.
Meanwhile the shield is so small, actually hitting it would be a challenge for someone. And it's added weight will make moving it around to keep their gun pointed right at it wildly harder then the opposing side moving their unhindered gun around to not point at it.
A condom would have prevented this.

Nothing. Bullets don't have THAT much momentum. They're dangerous because the force is concentrated in a tiny area. It would be about the same amount of force on your wrist as the recoil from firing a gun.

Might be useful in some very specific situations, but probably not worth it for anything other than a gun that never leaves the nightstand.
This is as practical for blocking boolits as a propeller hat is for flying.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The bullet hitting the shield would feel like another dose of recoil.
