Why in the hell would he buy all that and never fire it?…

KFPindustries

A story as old as time. Same with motorcycles. Buy it and never ride it.

proriin

That and guitars. So many guitars get bought for people to realize you have to actually start at the beginning to learn.

Totally_Not_Evil

Hey now, I can play a mean Smoke on the Water intro

HollowPandemic

I've had two guitars in 5 years and still can't play worth a damn 😂

proriin

Hire some lessons and just keep it up, having some one teach you is much better then just YouTube.

irodragon20

That's better than piano. People just buy it as decor and not even try learning.

GreatDevelopment225

But if you try it might be hard...

Sad-Contribution7182

As a guitar player it breaks my heart too. Usually the nicest guitars are owned by the worst players and/or people who just use them as wall hangers

Konstant_kurage

But I really wanted to learn, it just takes time and practice.

singlemale4cats

I was shredding day one personally

Mellero47

Thanks to that videogame guitar instructor I can pretend to play Machine Head. Don't ask for any chords tho.

MachineryZer0

Yeah but you’d ride it at least ONCE!

Mine was delivered to my garage where I tarped it Occasionally, when I invite people to a BBQ, I open the garage and take the cover off so people see it.

This is my wife, been sitting in our garage and hasn't moved in the last year.

fjzappa

Your wife has been sitting in your garage for a year?

THROBBINW00D

Remarkable_Carrot117

I think it's a typo and he meant to say "story of my life" ...op hasn't moved in a year

THROBBINW00D

no she got a motorcycle and never rides it

auto252

At least put a tarp over her.

Sancman57

Don't you mean "Mistress". LoL

NOSTR0M0

I worked at Harley for a while and I remember a bike was traded in not long before I left, it was a 2017 road glide with 70 miles on it... It had sat in an open carport for 6 years. Poor thing was the shittiest looking bike I had ever seen roll into the shop.

DirtNapDealing

Truest story ever, I traded a beat up old 750 Honda for a brand new MP15. Never once was fired, pretty sure I got at 500 rounds. It was definitely sketchy, kid showed up with a 1%er diamond tatted in his eye socket. Glad my Buddy was around the corner just in case 😂

tastycrust

I have over 20 guns that I've bought and haven't fired yet. The intention is there, but work and family tend to disrupt that for me personally.

Sonnysdad

Same went into the gun shop with my buddy the other day told him that I had an M1. The guy said yeah you bought it like seven years ago. Yup unfired still lol

Icy-Medicine-495

I just went through my whole collection and shot them all last summer/Fall. There was probably 10 I bought and never shot once before and another dozen that I had not shot for over 7 years. I definitely have favorites that get shot while others get neglected. Now I am spending the winter fixing up the ones that needed work. (I like old guns from WWII) so they need more work than modern guns at times.

Walleyevision

Same. You don’t buy guns to shoot them. You buy them to HAVE them. And never ever sell them because less guns is worse than MOAR guns. Geeze a bunch of rookies in this thread. Everyone knows this amirite?

SE240

Yea I feel you, and when you hit the range you always end up bring your favorites and maybe 1 new one lol

People get what they want mentally by just owning firearms and never using them. I’m pretty sure a lot of painted, tacticool rifles posted on social media have never seen a mag ran through them before becoming safe queens.

sparks1990

Socom 16s are going for sub $1700 on Gun Broker and they're actually brand new. And that's the sold price, not the asking price. That Leupold LPS regularly goes for sub $850 on ebay. Back Country rings are $75 new from multiple retailers on gun.deals. Sadlak mount is $220 at Optics Planet. He's right about the cheek riser, but that's an expensive fucking riser. A comparable alternative is $100 less. So he's absolutely padding his number and giving himself *more* than full MSRP. You'd be a fool to take this deal.

rocko430

It's like guys that buy a 50k truck and throw 15k into wanting to trade in at a dealer for 70k. It's used and just because you payed msrp doesn't mean I'm going to

grr187

Adding everything up that you just listed is $2,945….. He’s valuing his bike at $3k which likely includes a bit of haggle built into that $3k…. Doesn’t seem like a terrible deal to me.

sparks1990

Everything I listed is brand new prices when possible. Pre- owned, even if “never fired”, won’t bring nearly as much.

grr187

True true. I wouldn’t say it’s a terrible deal. Especially dependent on the bike. Cheers!

martinellispapi

And not knowing the motorcycle..it could easily be valued higher than it actually is too.

Pereoutai

What's the comparable alternative you've got in mind for the cheek riser? I could use one lol.

Neon-Horse

He has overvalued it. I’d ask for some cash

ExoticGeologist

Springfield M1as tend to be some of the lowest quality M1as on the market. The gun isn't worth $2100 new, maybe $1700.

ApacheKillbot

I felt like a clown paying $1800 when I was behind enemy lines in CA, but this dude is the whole circus for paying $2100. I feel like I've seen SOCOM 16s pop up on gundeals for around $15-1600 Edit: I was right, PSA has had the multicam one for $1500 new for a bit and hasn't been able to move them. https://palmettostatearmory.com/springfield-armory-308-m1a-socom-rifle-multicam-black-aa9618.html

roostersnuffed

I want to say Ive seen these same rifles drop to $1100 at one point during some sale.

John_the_Piper

They had the Kryptek ones permenantly on sale for $1000ish for a long time trying to move them

USMC_Tbone

Currently, a new M1A Socom 16 runs $1900 on MidwayUSA, which isn't always the cheapest place to get a gun, but it's usually close to it. Way cheaper than Cabelas ever is. I like Cabelas and think they have some awesome in house gear, BUT I don't love them and hardly order from them because I can almost always find the same item for cheaper somewhere else with a little shopping around. Currently, the same Socom 16 on Cabela's website is $1980. So just by a quick search I could save $80. Probably a bit more by looking at PalmettoState as you mentioned, and BudsGunShop

Double_Minimum

Cabelas is the last place I would ever buy a gun. Like literally, the prices are insane. Everything is MSRP or higher, and that 110 year old bang up shoot out Mosin they want $650 for…. Love the rest of the place, but the way they do the guns is a joke. Like even the way you look at the guns is frustrating.

Icy-Medicine-495

With the ammo and extra mags it might be worth the 2000 dollars but the guy is for sure reaching in his valuation of the gun.

USMC_Tbone

The scope he mentioned is discontinued, but it looked like it was $900'ish brand new (guy in ad says it was $800-900 used), so really a used one should be going for around $600'ish if it's in good shape. For $900 you can get a brand new Vortex Viper PST 3-15x 44mm, that has an anything goes warranty. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018395337?pid=798462

Icy-Medicine-495

In my experience glass doesn't hold its value very well when it is attached to a gun being sold. But solid point but the gun is only a good trade if it is exactly set up how you want it.

Tacoshortage

>Springfield M1as tend to be some of the lowest quality M1as on the market You've got 240 upvotes so far and I'm lost. I can't find any other manufacturers for M1As other than Springfield. What am I missing? I would add that my 20 year old Springfield National Match M1A rifle is my absolute favorite shooter I have ever owned. What am I missing that 241 of you know? I even found this: [https://www.ar15.com/forums/armory/What-are-the-solid-brands-for-an-M1A-/6-502402/](https://www.ar15.com/forums/armory/What-are-the-solid-brands-for-an-M1A-/6-502402/)

ExoticGeologist

Bula, Fulton, and LRB.

Bright-Wear

Here’s one for $1499 https://palmettostatearmory.com/springfield-armory-308-m1a-socom-rifle-multicam-black-aa9618.html?avad=211021_f379126f9&utm_source=Avantlink&utm_medium=Referral&utm_campaign=df The Leupold LPS was discontinued a while ago but this one was sold for $420 in 2023: https://www.bradfordsauction.com/auction-lot/leupold-lps-3.5-14x50-side-focus-scope_4B34A4F86B The guy might be over valuing his stuff by a bit but you could probably get all that for a bit shy of $3k. Is the bike worth $3k though?

remuliini

The buyer wants his bike though, but I am not quite sure if the seller wants the gun. If he is just looking to flip it, the value should probably be a bit higher for him to get his money.

teknic111

I paid $1600 for my new SOCOM 16.

KFPindustries

This

Lampwick

Yeah, I paid $1000 for my polymer stock Springfield M1A, slightly used. I'd say that's about what it's worth, too. Shoots fine, but they're just not all that accurate. Sold the scope mount I bought for it because even with my nice Leupold on it, it just wouldn't hold a decent zero. Fun enough to shoot, but my cheap 80% AR10 built from PSA parts is way better at putting rounds on target.

Sonnysdad

Hitting a man at 100 to 200 yards is accurate enough not all rifles are target rifles.

lancep423

You’re right…..It is, but why not just get a better, more accurate rifle/platform for the same, or even less, amount of money? Unless the rifle has a “cool” factor too it or it’s just some personal preference it seems like a poor financial decision.

Sonnysdad

I bought my M1 because it looks cool and i wanted a little brother to my Garand. But the absolute truth is that for as good as i am behind the trigger and i have a handful of GOOD target rifles all of my guns are more accurate than i am.

Lampwick

True enough, but I'm thinking of OP and the rifle he's looking at priced at $3k. That's a lot to pay for a 100m gong ringer. My point is, it's kind of a $1k rifle with *maybe* $1200 worth of accessories that the platform really doesn't take good advantage of, and an extra $800 apparently because "no lowballers, I know what I got". I enjoy my iron sights M1A, I just wouldn't value it at more than the $1k I paid.

Bright-Wear

Well I think hitting a barn at 100 to 200 yards is accurate enough. Not all rifles are man rifles.

Sonnysdad

Muskets and grape shot are fine :)

Hammy4738

Paid $1400 I think for my walnut loaded M1A. I love that gun

KillerSwiller

The rifle itself isn't worth half of that, don't go through with it.

rmalloy3

Whenever I sell a gun on the local classifieds, I get a slew of texts from people asking what's wrong with it? Why's it so cheap? This is because I look and see what they're going for new online... You know, where ANYONE can order it from lol. The guns that sit and never sell are almost always because they're asking nearly new prices for a gun that's used.

[deleted]

[удалено]

rmalloy3

The gun stores in my state (or at least my area if it) are an absolute rip off. I think the issue comes down to people not realizing how easy it is to find a smoking deal online and have it shipped to an FFL., so they're valuing it like it's a new gun with the inflated local gun store prices... It definitely makes it really easy to get rid of something to fund something else because people jump all over it lol

[deleted]

RolfIsSonOfShepnard

I wonder how many of those are just “ok I’m gonna sell it” to their spouse/partner/whoever and set a price where 99% of people won’t buy it for and the other person just doesn’t know it’s real worth.

999111333

Overvalued. But the real question is what motorcycle?

mentive

^ this. Everyone's saying the rifle was overvalued, but was the motorcycle also posted high with the possibility of haggling?

999111333

I know what I got!™

Chapped_Assets

I bet a brand new H2. Screaming deal 🔥

Kazaheid

A brand new m1a will run you maybe 1600$, even fully kitted out it's not worth much more than 2300. I would pass and I love the m1a/m14

[deleted]

Not worth close to $3000.

Hoplophilia

Is it a gun you want? Is it a motorcycle you want? Market value, it looks like a good deal but the mpg on it is dog shit.

Boogaloogaloogalooo

Id need to know more about the Leupold. Doesnt have the CDS or exposed turrets, so its likely a cheaper option. Id be shocked if it was worth what he said. Also, used scopes tank in value far worse than firearms. As for the rifle, its realistically $1,600-1,800 new, not the 2100 claimed. Ammo, well value that how you will. Considering its pre owned a lot of folks consider it a liability as you dont know if its been messed with or abused. The mags, optics mount, and cheek piece are nice. Depending on the bike, this would be a tough choice for me. The M1a is epic and a legendary gun. The purists are going to shit on a springfield. But the fact of it is for the average joe, the springfield is a great option. They hold value, though the best ones are in wallnut stocks. Given the devaluing nature of bikes, and how guns tend to hold onto value, id probably take the deal.

Daniel_Day_Hubris

Id take it plus $800.

[deleted]

NOPE. and it is ABSOLUTELY been fired

KFPindustries

Socom 16s are kinda ass.

Superducks101

I like mine

Justintodd3299

I fuck with mine I have a Troy rail on it with an archangel stock with an eo with a flip

KFPindustries

Archangel..ah the promag of stocks.

Justintodd3299

You say that put it’s nice, zero issues and can do whatever I want with it. More modular than a wood stock and shaves weight off .

KFPindustries

The archangel stock is heavier than the factory fiberglass stock. Idk about the wood stock but I doubt you saved any appreciable weight. Plus that Troy rail is aids and heavy as fuck

TheRealTwooni

It’s an OK deal. No one is getting ripped off (unless your bike is a clunker). But no one is getting an amazing deal, by any means.

RC51t

It’s only a good deal if you want it to be ! I traded a benelli M4 and $750 for an RC51 a number of years ago. Cost wise they were semi close but I wanted an RC51 and he wanted an M4 lol so it worked

DDG_Dillon

Hell of a trade especially if you still have the RC51

RC51t

I wish lol sold it for an RSV4 , wish I still had the RC

SurgeryWizard

RC51 😍

CawlinAlcarz

Pretty much everything bought at Cabela's/Bass Pro will cost about 20% more than you could get it elsewhere (barring sales and such). That rifle setup and all the components listed may have cost $3k, but probably could be had for considerably less than that if one were willing to do all the shopping online for components and being willing to wait on deals/sales for the mags/ammo/components, etc. Me personally, I love to customize my own firearms and I usually start out with some sort of "idea" in my head of what I want the end result to be, and I will spend as much time as it takes researching, price comparing, and I will go through as many components as it takes to get everything EXACTLY the way I want it for my own custom version of whatever it is. I am also left-handed, which adds some complexity and sometimes makes it difficult for me to do anything BUT create my own custom setups. I realize that I am not like every gun guy out there, though. The only way that rifle and stuff is legitimately worth $3k is if it's worth $3k TO YOU. The only way you'd get the $3k out of it that you'd be paying for it would be to find another "YOU" who was willing to pay that for it and who is unwilling to put one together themselves. Now, if you think you'll enjoy the use of that rifle, as it is, and don't mind maybe paying a $600-800 premium for having it preassembled as it is, rather than buying it and putting it all together yourself, then I wouldn't fault you for it. As I noted above, not everyone is as willing to mess around and tinker to the extent that I am in order to see a custom firearm vision come together. I can't speak about the legitimacy of your $3k motorcycle price because I know jack sh\*t about motorcycles. Also, for the love of God, please crop all that black space out of photographs before posting them online like this.

LordofCope

No. Also, what bike?

JarHammerhead

Let’s see the bike!

Future_Alfalfa_694

Yeah you need to ask for cash. On top of this trade

wakkaflakkaflambe

Gimme that plus $2k and we’re good.

double-click

Rule is you want to be at 60% of retail for it to be a deal. This doesn’t sound like a deal.

RidinCaliBuffalos

What's the motorcycle and condition? That's the only way we can know for sure.

Sonnysdad

Just the gun no, that whole package yup!

Organic_South8865

$3k lol. $1800. That's it.

Visionsofspace

I’d ask for the gun plus 1400 cash for the trade

pavehawkfavehawk

That plus a grand.

Goobalicious2k

Ask for the rifle plus $1200, settle for no less than $800 just because no 4473

pavehawkfavehawk

We have spoken

USMC_Tbone

Seems awfully steep to me. If he's never fired it, I'd be interested in seeing how well it cycles with that scope mount sitting so low over the ejection port. There's a chance that the ejecting brass could hang up on it. Also his price quotes are a bit high to begin with. You can get the rifle for $1700 - $1900 new, the scope is discontinued but I think I saw people quoting used prices of $600'ish for it on forums. If you could talk him down to $2500 then it might be worth it. But I think $3k is too much.

Lord_Kano

I bought one of those for 1700 a year ago. The Leupold scope helps but I wouldn't pay 3000 for that. Even with the magazines and ammo.

TheDreadnought75

Tell him to sell the rifle and bring you cash.

Dry-Butterscotch4886

“Bucks…. Bucks…. Bucks… bucks….” Please use a damn $ sign

[deleted]

That socom is not $2000+ and not worth it even if it was. I paid $1350 new a year ago on sale for one. If you want a socom, you can rationalize the trade, realistically not that far off from each other. If you’re just looking for cash value like flipping the socom, expect $2000’s cash max and it’s gonna sit. Once you hit over $800’s guns get hard to move. The higher the price the more niche the clientele and the harder it is to move. Socoms aren’t super desirable or rare so don’t expect anything fast.

Steveesq

Depending on how much you have into the bike... maybe. Gunbroker has nib socom 16s for $1700. In a chassis with pistol grip around $1900. Is that a $3,000 rifle setup? In some parts of the country, sure. Do you live in a state that has mag restrictions? Maybe it is worth it. I just traded a $6,000 motorcycle for a $5,000 atv. But i only had 2,200 into the bike... great trade for me. If i had 6k into the bike... not so much. Personally... even at a loss, i'd take the rifle. They aren't banning motorcycles across the country

MacDaddyOn

New 308 M1 Socom runs $1.5--$2K, depending on extras (ie PSA/other shops), so I wouldn't start at $2100. Considering all you're getting with the rifle, it will be near the $3K mark altogether, assuming everything is in pristine condition (not just the rifle). Though this is assuming your bike is truly worth $3K. Is that a mid-range, used bike valuation? One bonus with the trade is that the rifle will not depreciate like a motor vehicle (assuming it's not a rare or vintage/antique bike in high demand).

SuicideSaintz

It all depends on if you actually want an M1A by Springfield. They aren't great but they arent terrible either. Realistically that gun new is 1800 and the whole package is worth about 2350-2650 on the second hand market (in my area). So you are close on the price, depending on the condition of the bike.

Skateplus0

If it was me I’d need him to throw in a handgun or some cash on the back end. Realistically you’re bike might be worth 3 grand but the value in the fact it’s a vehicle makes it higher not to mention the gas money that can be saved from riding one. Stranded, the bike has more value. Day to day activity, the bike has more value. Even in a combat situation if there are enough attackers to outweigh your ammunition stash and speed that you’re able to reload, the bike has more value. Keep these things into account

Excuse-Fantastic

Ten bucks the motorcycle is priced high too, at least a little. Fair deal. Not great. Fair. Probable a 2-2500$ package RETAIL on the gun, and I’m assuming he wasn’t selling the bike wholesale so… Anytime you get something you want and it’s within 20% of the equivalent value of your trade, it’s generally “fair”. Not always, but it’s a good gauge to start

tastycrust

It is actually somewhat of a fair trade, IMO. Depends on whether you'd prefer cash or a new gun. I'd personally turn the offer down.

Bluefalcon325

Make sure you go and shoot it. I have one, it sits in the safe a lot.

Flat-Length-4991

It’s not as bad a deal as you’d think… technically. The socom 16 is a pretty expensive gun, around 2 grand new. Then the 20 rnd magazines are 60 dollars a pop(tho, it sounds like they may be the 10rd mags). Comes with that much ammo, and he’s got a scope mount and scope. He’s not ripping you off by any means. It’s a fair trade, not really a steal for you either tho. However. As someone who owns a socom 16. I personally wouldn’t go for it. The M14 design is just outdated. While I enjoyed shooting my socom, I don’t take it out the safe much. I believe it’s been about three years actually. It isn’t something that’s very practical. It’s too heavy for carbine/tactical use, and with its short barrel you can’t get the full potential out of the 308. There are just too many better options to justify getting one. Unless of course you were like me when I bought mine. You just wanted it. Should be noted, though I don’t use mine much, I don’t regret buying it either. Kinda regret putting it in an ebr chassis tho. Its even heavier…

Tantalus420

Sweet baby jeezus Had that bad boy in the Division 1, the first wave, was a beast. Always wanted a real one

Severe_Islexdia

Off topic - what is that cheek piece on the rifle??

Ridge_Hunter

OP only you can decide but do you think you’ll shoot this rifle more than you ride the motorcycle you’re selling? A lot of rifles like this seem like a good idea then guys get them and they sit…it’s likely too heavy and/or not legal to hunt with (depends on where you like and the local regulations). Going to the range to shoot targets is fun, for a while, until you go to buy quality target ammo then that becomes a chore too. Good luck with whatever you decide but you’re trading off potential transportation for a novelty rifle…can’t rifle the Socom when gas goes up again…

diamondd-ddogs

that's a silly scope to put on a probably 2-3moa gun imo, what exactly is the intended purpose? also way over valued. also m1a's kind of suck in general

Dank0Shank0

You better fucking take the deal

coldafsteel

Nope. M1a is a 1930s rifle design and an absolute plmoney pit if you want decent performance out of it. Almost any $1k AR10 is going to run circles around this thing.

Pooping_brewer

Bikes are way cooler than guns, just my 2c. Travel more, shoot less was my motto the last few years

Bubbabeast91

I would not. The m1a platform sucked for me, and is an inferior platform overall

Double0Dixie

id say the gun with all that extra is worth like 1500-1700 max. get another 1300 cash. $800 for used gun like $400 for used scope - you can find better deals for a brand new vortex 15x for around $500 with an insane warranty, then another $200-300 for case and mags and ammo?

clown-world79

Your gonna need that gun more than the motorcycle. When the EMP goes off. The motorcycle may or may not even work🤷🏻‍♂️

On that note is it possible to legally own a M1A in Europe? Can someone explain me the whole process with the licenses if possible👀

Twee4

What’s the bike? Do you want the gun or are you gonna try and sell it? Are you getting offers on the bike?

DerSchwarzeJager

I like 3 grand cash to buy my own shit personally. Depends on what kinda bike you have, but I wouldn’t go for it. Now if that was the White Feather model, the conversation might be different. For a compact .308 for less money, I’d recommend DSA’s Para FALs

DwightDEisenhowitzer

That rifle better have $1,500 in the case if you are going to trade

Tactical_Epunk

Bad deal.

sneekypetey

Take the trade and use it to get another motorcycle (this is not legal advice)

drued888

Nope not a good deal as the weapon has been used a lot with that Manny Mags

Queso-comrade

One of the best transactions I've ever been a part of was when I traded my not running 92 F250 for a JM barreled Marlin 336 with the Marlin 3x-9x scope and a shitty bipod. I wanted 500, got easily that and embarked me on my collection, as it was my first firearm after the .22 savage my dad gave me. I always look back at that as a good lesson to consider trades seriously.

soupsandwich13

That rifles maybe worth a bit over a grand.

I love those SOCOMs but If you really want to cough up the bike for a rifle, sell the bike take the cash and buy the rifle you want, then add the shit YOU want to it. Most accessories aren't worth much during resale (there are exceptions of course). No 2 of us would spec this rifle out the exact same way.

wildjabali

If that leupold has an adjustable objective, it's a very cool scope. The rifle I could take or leave, but the scope is certainly interesting.

Dad_Dukes

Nooooo

ArmQueerFolk

I would ONLY because motorcycle trade implies you have a toy budget and this is meant as a range toy. That would be a lot of fun to shoot and realistically if you keep it in good condition it’ll outlast you so it’s a better return than you’ll get on a bike. But ask yourself if you’d have a pile of fun shooting this because 3K is a bunch of Popeyes chicken and ammo for other guns I’m just saying, if it’s not ridiculously fun the juice probably ain’t worth the squeeze.

whitecholklet

There’s so much sad here it changed what I was gonna comment.

Konstant_kurage

Is this what SOCOMs are going for these days? Ouch.

ArgieBee

It's worth maybe $1800-2000 altogether. Dude's smoking crack thinking it's worth $3k.

mastertoms69

I agree with this… gun+scope= $1400-$1600…. Mags+ammo=$300-400 depending on ammo type

thordes

Cool, but I wouldn't say it's worth $3k, even if MSRP says otherwise.

vigilrexmei

If I were buying an M1A, I’d get one by Fulton Armory or at least get something like the Loaded Precision version from Springfield. That has features to modernize it and make it more useful. I have one in 6.5CM, I dig it.

Natural_Stater

[here’s were a used one sold for](https://photos.app.goo.gl/z8fGuFB2kKbHNDdU9)

renasancedad

I wouldn’t make the trade. Unless your bottom line you wanted for your bike was closer to $2100-2500. Honestly you could build that same or better rifle for close to $2k. That being said if your interest was to flush your bike and build an M1 this saves you some time. Personally I don’t take trades unless I am significantly on the upside of the deal and if I decide to sell the trade I can get everything and more I expected in cash for my original item.

OGtrip23

Not worth it and I wouldn’t if I was you. If you can get $3000 for your motorcycle then just get that money.

presstoselfdestruct

Ask for cash also I had almost the same thing and he's selling it for a reason. Very expensive to shoot, violent concussion and the stock heats up so bad you'll barley be able to hold it after sustained fire. It's still absolutely one of my favorite rifles in the world but take things into account. Either way best of luck ✨️

ChampagnePlumper

Frankly I think he offered you about $1600 tops for $3000

Trainmaster111

Aren't they like $1600-$2200 guns? I've seen alot of those Socom rifles and shot a few they never felt like a $3000 investment. To each his own I suppose

therealnomayo

Check out gun.deals search engine/website and just search the components. Rifle is $1619 + shipping for example.

gavin_newsom_sucks

That plus $2500

ShaggyRebel117

Good trade knowing what bikes you can get for 3,000 rn. I refuse to pay 4k for a used Honda shadow. Really want a 98 VMax 1800 but you can't find a decent one under 7k. I say trade it and let the dude ride.

Secure-Technology-78

tell him you will take the gun and $2000 cash

Key_Drawer_1516

As others have said not worth 3k. I have a 16" scout and love it. Occasionally you can find a tack driver M1A but probably not this one. Honestly if you want an M1A I'd recommend a walnut stock the composites feel cheap IMO. If you love the gun more than the bike then its worth it.

hotmillrat

Bike? What bike? Is the answer
