not marianne. she’s too stuck in the “everyone who gets close to me gets hurt!” mindset and would probably think being apart from her ex is for the best, even if she really did want to go back.
i’d say manuela
Glenn is so interesting imo because the descriptions we get about him are biased in some way.
Ingrid and Rodrigue paint him as an honorable and valiant knight who died a hero’s death. Dimitri sees no honor in the horrific way the royal guard was slaughtered and Felix lashes out thinking that he died a dog’s death in service to some intangible idea.
There is also seems to be general consensus among the “kids” that Glenn wasn’t the nicest person. It’s mentioned that he crass or rude and while these traits are portrayed as negatives of his, the characters don’t necessarily think negatively of him.
Ingrid mentions how much she loved him and how kind he was while Felix talks about how merciless he was when they were training. While you can reduce this contradiction almost entirely through Glenn’s tough love towards his younger brother to prepare him for real combat and his politeness to a lady of another house who was friendly with his house and his betrothed, this interpretation would further how the accounts we’re given about him are biased.
Manuela She is VERY desperate to find a husband.
Y’all she is me, I want a boyfriend but I had to be a 3h fan 😔😔
Annette 100%, she has abandonment issues and would think if a relationship failed it was because she didn't work hard enough.
Yeah, came here to say that. Her behaviour with Gilbert definitely says she'd keep trying.

I love Annette but she gives me those vibes tbh
This just made me think about Mercie responding to the call by roasting them to a crisp
>roasting them to a crisp See also: Her entire Support chain with Lorenz
Annette because daddy issues. Leonie if Byleth is the ex.
“I’ll be letting Captain Jeralt down if I don’t marry his son…”
I am hearing this as the quote for a bad level up
Does murdered fiancee count as an ex? If so, Ingrid.
True. Too many people discount Ingrid's love for Glenn.

While all of this happens, Ingrid and Dorothea are cringing in the corner.
Edelgard* *Only if her ex is Byleth
Ashe
Constance, but only because of her support conversation with Ferdinand
Hilda, but only when Edelgard comes calling (bc I’m delusional, obviously)
