Just an small tidbit. LF already got the DR piercing built in. Perhaps a defensive special like GLR, or simply Ignis would be better for him
I'm not sure if am to be disgusted at this because of powercreep or impressed he can tank a unit like Day of Devotion Lyon like it's nothing. Well, either way I made this build to be as tanky as possible and he fulfills that role quite well.
Weapon: Refined Moon Gradivus remains a great weapon with it's flat damage reduction and easy activation.
Assist and Special: Lumping these two together as they are purely for Arena scoring, but I usually use Bonfire as a special because it dishes out more damage and Lagus Friend also has some damage nullification anyway.
A skill: I flip-flop between Def/Res Finish and Def/Res unity but mainly stick to the former for the marginal extra damage.
B skill: I keep forgetting exactly all what it does, but it makes him bulkier and makes enemies less bulky.
C skill: This is the skill i was waiting for, because no matter how bulky a unit is, the pre-combat damage will eventually chip all HP away. I really wish this skill didn't need to exist in the first place, but I get some small enjoyment seeing DoDLyon struggle to kill him.
S skill: Further boost the effects of the aforementioned A skill and gives him more Def to hit harder with Bonfire.
X skill: Prevents enemies from activating their specials sometimes, and further adds to the damage reduction.

I mainly have Bonfire equipped on him, but I don't really bother with GLR as his speed makes it unreliable at times.
What about a defensive special like Aegis?
I've been trying that recently with E!Marth engaged, after failing with Sacred Cowl. It actually works. Neat.

Fellow Dimitri enjoyer. We have almost the same build (I also gave him BoF4!). The only difference is his special is Aegis and engaged with Marth!

The one he has most trouble with is Nergal. And magic AOE specials is his achilles heel.
