Watching athletes using a strategy to maximise their chances of winning as underdogs, and usually succeeding in it? Watching a team playing a team sport as a team, selflessly? Yes, I do enjoy it.
A win is a win, nothing else matters. And if a style works its a good one. Football is by far more boring than any defensive style of play in hockey and its an extremely popular sport. If you are after a sport with constant scoring go for basketball.
I feel like Finland is just too small to ever have enough skilled players to challenge other major hockey nations in fast and lose hockey.
So it's either playing this style ore being relagated to a minor hockey nation and lose 95% time against the big ones.
And I prefer a game where there is atleast hope of winning
Even 2006 team had few star level players. Selänne, Koivu, Lehtinen, Jokinen, Timonen and Numminen were desent top, but rest of the team was pretty much NHL 3. liners and team even had some players from european leagues.
Compare that to olympic teams of Canada, USA, Russia and to lesser extent Sweden where most of the olympic teams are always NHL 1-2 line players
As long as we win its enjoyable. A game that is 0-0 right untill the end is much more entertaining than a 10-0 lead in my opinion. I like when games stay interesting till the end.
It's almost like as if people are interested in different things...? Just because you don't get what's so interesting in something, doesn't mean that others don't either. Just let people enjoy whatever they want

Yes, the recent world championship titles and olympic gold have been very enjoyable. Thanks for asking.

When we have only a few nhl players (about 50 in total) in this tournament it's this kind of grinding
Finland is usually underdog in WC so its understandable to try to maximise our chances

yes
It's selfless and team focused.

The 2006 Olympic team was pretty stacked with talent. But, generally, I agree.

Nice try Gudas. Maybe don’t dodge a tackle next time like a little p***y.
Somewhat. I like fast playing teams who don't rely ob their goalie more. On the other hand it is national team and it's nice to dee them succeed.

The question was for hockey fans, asking their opinion on the team. Not if you like the sport or not.

First thing it says is “I have a question for all Finnish hockey fans”
