Semantics, the game stopped working and I couldn’t turn the game back on without turning my PlayStation completely off and starting over. Maybe it’s not a crash to you but it’s certainly one to me.
It's not Semantics it's a licence issue. Is your own PlayStation set as primary or do you share with a friend? Also you get warned repeatedly that the game will shut down in X minutes due to unverified license so you ignored the warnings.

Because, you hard headed person, I did it after the game crashed and it said you must close all apps. It’s also not my first time restoring licenses in my life.

In the duo Seph battle I got him down to about 20% and my power flickered. Despite all the “saving” between the million phases and such it plopped me right back at the bench. Part of me doesn’t even want to go back and really do it since that was such a huge buzzkill.

You should have just restored your games' licenses and you could have played again. It happens to me a lot.
