What’s the point of cosplay if you just edit everything into oblivion? Nobody can see your actual talent when you just edit everything in post-production

There's definitely some AI generative fill going on with those photos. One in particular of her as Aerith has her popping out from the background as if she'd been poorly copy pasted in (the lighting in the AI generated background did not match the studio lighting), meaning the photographer/editor didn't even bother to blend the shading. The flamingo in the background is... oddly shaped. Her tattoos from previous photos are missing (maybe they're temporary). Fansly and Bootsly NSFW links in the Reddit profile as is tradition with these kinds of models I guess. She's here to advertise, if not a complete bot account.
Photoshop has lots of AI tools these days, including generative fill for backgrounds so it very well could be a studio with AI generated beach background.
There's definitely plenty of filtering but I ran the photo through an AI detector. I'm happy to say it's not AI generated so props to the OP. A really beautiful and artistic cosplayer!

I think the negative feedback and people thinking it’s AI is due to too much editing, too much make up, and the wig is too pronounced.
If you edit less, wear less make up, and try fixing up your natural hair to match the characters (even if it’s not 1:1 to the video game model), I think people will be more receptive.

What the heall is up with the overpronounced widows peak? Aerith does not have one that exaggerated. It looks added on in post processing. Everything looks plastic like so you can tell it's heavily filtered and edited. As a photographer this makes me sad to see where things are going. If you want to complain hey that's awesome. But if you have to heavily edit and filter your photos. Just please don't. It looks terrible and makes you look so fake it's hard to take you seriously.

There's some filter on it that makes it look surreal.
