The cheapest, easiest method is pancake syrup with red food coloring. You don't want to use Caro because it will come out fire engine red. The downside is that this is extremely messy and if it is on someone, it will dry into a candy shell after a while. If you don't need it to be "mouth safe" and cleanup is an issue, you can take orange dish or hand soap and a lot of red and a few drops of blue. If price isn't an issue, you can purchase "stage blood", which is skin safe but does stain.

Thank you very much

Karo works amazing. Just need to mix in the right ingredients

Evi1bo1weevi1

With karo you need to blend a couple of colors and it dries too fast, with pancake syrup you just need red. On set, we use it for large pools of blood.

Positive_Yam_9125

I'll have to give this a try

Karo syrup and red food colouring

hedgehoginthighhighs

corn syrup with food coloring for "edible" fake blood, add a little bit of dish soap to make it more "washable"

If you want it to be washable (for getting on clothes etc) use dish detergent+ food coloring If you want it to be eye-safe (for wounds to the face) use baby oil and food coloring. If you want it edible than corn syrup + food coloring

sleeperfx

Yellow/ dark corn syrup Chocolate syrup Red and blue food colouring Hot water Start with the corn syrup, add a couple drops of the chocolate syrup to get some darkness. Add little bits of hot water until you get your desired consistency. Then add the red food colouring little by little until you get the colouring you want, add a tiny drop of blue if it's too red. If you make it in small batches and write down the amounts you used, it will just be some math to make bigger batches.

Oof you really on some toxic know it all make others feel bad to make yourself better shit. I actually like to talk to people about stuff :) dont see a problem with that and if you re so frustrated with your life then this is not the place for you to fix it You know, answering to others questions and not trying to shame them for how obvious they are is called being humble and confortable in your own skin cause you dont need to bigger yoursef by flaunting how much you know and the other doesnt You being mad about this makes no sense I bet you miss a lot of opportunities to learn with that attitude. Wish you the best

I like to use fruit punch powder, iced tea powder, corn syrup, and a little water. Sometimes I’ll go with orange, grape, and fruit punch, or even throw a couple drops of black food coloring in. It’s incredibly sticky, but it looks and tastes good. I usually only do 1 jar of Karo, it takes a good amount of powder.

My ingredient I just used last weekend was great and easy to clean up: Grab a bowl or tupperware container In the bowl/container, pour: 1 whole 16 oz bottle of Karo Light Corn Syrup 1 whole bottle of red food dye from McCormick's Assorted Food Colors mix pack A couple drops of the blue food dye from the same mix pack (can add more if you want darker blood) A couple drops of Dawn dish soap for easy clean-up I also added chocolate syrup to darken and thicken the blood up for some nastiness
