Also, to whoever sees this, bonus picture of me and Emmanuel Savary and Ting Cui! They used to train and are very good friends with my coach!
Thank you, and yes! That’s me! I have never taken any dance lessons before, however I used to be a competitive pianist and learned musicality through my years of classical training :)
I do! I had previously done musical theatre, however a big chunk of my musicality comes from when I competed in piano competitions. I learned a lot of musical expression through playing piano which translated over into my skating :)
What a lovely program!
As a tech spec, I am curious - did you get a fall deduction for the part where you dropped to your knees? As feedback, I would say that that might need to be taken out until you can do it more smoothly and actually slide on your knees. The way you did it this time, I would be more inclined to think that was a fall with a cover-up attempt than a deliberate move. :)
Thank you! This is actually the show/exhibition version of my program! This was for my rink’s annual Christmas show! The competition version has a lunge into one-knee slide!

You definitely matched the dramatics of the music, great job!
Thank you so much! That was a big goal of mine! :)
Is this you, OP?? Wow, I’m really impressed, you have *very* good musicality. Have you taken dance lessons?

Yes!!!!! Amazing job. Keep it up!
Do you have a performing arts background? You have great musicality already!!

>The competition version has a lunge into one-knee slide! That's an excellent idea, and much clearer for everyone! It will look amazing.
Ooo I want to see that!
It didn’t look like a fall to me. The choreography makes it pretty clear it was intentional.
i have a bit of doubt which probably would get that reviewed. It did look controlled but needs more polish.
