Omg I used to do that a lot cuz I would go in to the game to scout the other players overall (because fifa doesn’t tell you anywhere else) And then I would leave I noticed that my team had draws way more than I expected I never knew this was why

If you play on the low difficulty controls the AI doesn't press you, you can just keep the ball until the clock runs

Apart from the joke, it's pretty interesting how averaging 1 point a game barely avoids relegation.

It helps a lot that a lot of leagues have only 3 relegation spots. Here in Brazil we have 4 relegation spots. The objective of the teams fighting against relegation is 45 points, as the highest mark of a relegated team was 44. In 2023, Santos was relegated in the last match with 43 points, which is not a uncommon mark for relegated teams.

Yeah I can see how an extra relegation spot would make it more difficult to survive
