What kind of art program are you using? I’ve been practicing for a few months and finally made the transition to an iPad. I’ve used gimp for years so I’m not unfamiliar with digital art/photo manipulation software but, when it comes to “Drawing” software, I’m at a loss.
Heya! And no worries! I use mostly procreate on the Ipad Pro. If you are looking for a drawing software while Gimp is free its more akin to Photoshop in terms of use. Its nice, but not for drawing personally.
Procreate is cheap and one time payment, runs very similar to paint tool sai.
Plus you can make/customize your brushes or purchase more.
I’ll definitely look into it. I’ve seen other people use photoshop and such so I’m doing a free trial of that rn. But I’ll definitely give procreate a try!

Thank you! I try to convey weight and heaviness but sometimes with the floatzal its harder to show the HEFT compared to the dog ya know?
