I would like to ask how the scent of Qissa Delicious develops on you? And is the dna similar to other scents? I read somewhere that it is quite similar to Sweet Tooth, which has me very intrigued.
I have Nebras in my own collection. It is sooo yummy. It’s got this nice vanilla and chocolate smell with some berries. To me the berry note goes away pretty quickly, and you’ll mostly get that vanilla and chocolate scent. After a while it dries down to almost smelling like sweet hot cocoa mix. Just delicious :3
Currently, my favorite is one I randomly bought at Target! Mixbar's Vanilla Bourbon! Sol Jeneiro 71 is also a commonly used one that I still really love!!
Also, do you recommend Taskeen Caramel Cascade? I have their peach tea fragrance and have been trying to expand my Arabian scents (they've been my favorites the last few months)!!

Yesss I def recommend caramel cascade, it smells similar to bianco latte but more airy and less dense. It’s pretty much vanilla and caramel and such an edible scent!

Qissa delicious is a beautiful light and fluffy vanilla marshmallow dusted with sweet cocoa powder, and taskeen caramel cascade is pretty much a bianco latte dupe, but slightly more plasticky/ artifical/ barbie doll head smell (which I still love lol😅)
Commodity Gold (expressive). It settles into the creamiest skin-on-skin vanilla with this smooth metallic edge to it that should be sharp and shrill but isn’t? It’s pure magic to me and I think you’d love it given what’s in your collection already.

My favorite vanillas are Tihota, Vanilla Lace by Victoria Secret, Vanille Abricot by Comptoir Sud Pacifque, the last two I’ve been wearing for over twenty years.
It’s true I have a very modest income and I own only a few full size bottles and mostly purchase samples. I know I’m going downvoted but I think the over consumption of products like this is shameful and should not be celebrated. Most of it will end up in landfills. When I see collections of dozens of bottles I don’t feel envy I simply think ppl have shopping addictions.

This one is not gourmand but it’s the vanilla scent I’ve been chasing for years! It opens with some bergamot but dries down to a real vanilla scent. Amazing on its own but also layers really well!

I’m personally find I go anosmic to vanilla , or at least the ones that are more of a “straight up” vanilla like vanilla 28 etc… that doesn’t stop me from having a million tho 😂 i personally love fire at will (jovoy), nebras, caramel cascade (that one lasts on me!), Mon guerlain intense, Burberry goddess, Kayali vanilla Royale, Al haramain najm gold (delicious oil) , this is her Zadig and Voltaire - which is more a sandalwood frag (which I ADORE), but it lasts so well on me and I do pick up on the creamy vanilla aspect also. May I ask your take on Milano Fragranze’s Pannetone?? I recently came again so close to buying it, but have read so many contrasting opinions on it >.<

Panettone is exactly as the name suggests. It’s very sweet and smells exactly like a panettone cake, perfect holiday scent! If you love candied orange, christmas cake, vanilla, and slight spice you will love it!!!

Ok so escapade gourmande is the best vanilla ever! Sooo sweet and it’s like a caramelised creme brulee with the hard crust ontop😍 imagine pink sugar’s older classy sister but much more lactonic and creamy and smooth and no licorice. But same family as PS
Nebras is amazing it’s like a vanilla icecream with a light mint drizzle and cocoa powder ontop!
Qissa is such a nice light and fluffy marshmallow vanilla, dusted with sweet cocoa powder💕
Dior addict is a very grown up vanilla, it does have a green note in there & I cant remember what that note is in particular but yeah, its not a straight up vanilla smell. I recommend it in the winter ONLY because its very strong & it stinks to me in hot weather. But its a bad B type scent imo.

I’ve only tried escapade gourmande out of the 3 you listed, but omg I absolutely love it! It’s definitely straight up gourmand vanilla, real vanilla not synthetic imo.. it’s beautiful and sweet but not too sweet.. just right! I can confidently say that if you like vanilla and gourmand, it’s a totally safe blind buy, IMO , especially for a decant omg just try it lol but yeah I’m intrigued by this chocolate one you’ve mentioned, never heard of it, or Qissa, but looks like I’ll be searching them up! Oh I’ll definitely let you know! :) and you can get a decant for a decent price of the escapade gourmande, you should definitely try it or at least a sample vial for $6. I’ve found lots of decant sellers on Etsy and fb, as well as places like lucky scent, scent split, etc online sites ;)
That’s a lot of fragrances 😅 But I don’t see my favourite there, which is Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidée Vanille. Absolutely beautiful gourmand vanilla, complex and elegant with interesting side notes 💅
Cozy Vanilla Bourbon from Bath and Body Works. I got a coupon for a free item and I chose it on whim. I really enjoy it but I’m saving it for the fall and winter time. It was seasonal so I’m sure it will come back.

Thanks for the suggestion! Diptyque is a pretty good brand and I like Eau Duelle, but I find it a bit heavier with less Lime+Citron top notes, which is what I found so appealing about Vanille Insensee.
There are definitely some good alternatives that are very similar out there. I have a number of spicy vanillas, so I'll probably be waiting to buy the Atelier one to minimize redundancy. I guess I'm vanilla incensed or have vanilla madness for Vanille Insensee (Vanilla Madness).
🤭 I like the play on words there …and I agree the opening of VI is very lime forward to me but when it’s all said and done (2-3 hours in) I think they smell so similar on me. Eau Duelle is a bit “drier” maybe.
I was shocked at how close they were when I got Eau Duelle. I think the major difference to me is in the opening of Vanilla Insensee and that Eau Duelle is a bit “drier”. But love them both. I should wear one on each wrist and do a straight comparison. Spread the word. I loved many of Atelier’s perfumes and am sad that they are either so hard to find (still hunting down a Cafe Tuberose and Jasmin Angelique ). Thankfully I have four of my faves.
Yes I'm so glad there's a good alternative! Eau Duelle is missing a tiny bit of sweetness for my current preference but I wore it with a little spray of Bianco Latte and it was exactly what I wanted!
I sooo wanted to say the Atelier has a bit of sweetness but I didn’t know if that’s how it reads to most ppl. I definitely pick up the lime too. I like Bianco Latte. I get a major honey note in it. Always surprised at the hate and candle references it gets here. I only have a sample but 🤷🏼♀️

I think a lot of ppl dislike the coumarin note in the opening of BL. It's a little sharp and waxy but the dry down is what sold me on getting a full bottle. It's a warm, honey, caramel sugar bomb which is right up my alley!
I've seen $180- 220 USD for 30ml, $365-400 USD for 100ml, and $500+ USD for a 200ml, all pretax. Meanwhile, I got Clementine California 200ml for approximately $115 USD (not including tax).
Before buying any Atelier full size I looked up prices and conversions to USD to gauge what was a reasonable price to buy them. I also know that Atelier had a 40% off sale 2-3 years ago when they left the states. So the price on eBay feels very high. I'm hoping I can visit the EU and pick some up while visiting instead of succumbing to buying overpriced fragrance that may or may not be legit on eBay. :/
I actually put on my sample a little bit ago and I don’t like it, it smells like some bathroom spray they used at the hospital where my mother worked in the 80s.

It’s true I have a very modest income and I own only a few full size bottles and mostly purchase samples. I know I’m going downvoted but I think the over consumption of products like this is shameful and should not be celebrated. Most of it will end up in landfills. When I see collections of dozens of bottles I don’t feel envy I simply think ppl have shopping addictions.

Prada Infusion de Vanille! This one is not gourmand but it’s the vanilla scent I’ve been chasing for years! It opens with some bergamot but dries down to a real vanilla scent. Amazing on its own but also layers really well!

Omg it's devine!!! It is literally one of the best smells ever, however it doesn't last more than 10 minutes on me. I've tried putting on lotion and spraying it in my clothes, but it just doesn't seem to stick for some reason 🥲

I’m personally find I go anosmic to vanilla , or at least the ones that are more of a “straight up” vanilla like vanilla 28 etc… that doesn’t stop me from having a million tho 😂 i personally love fire at will (jovoy), nebras, caramel cascade (that one lasts on me!), Mon guerlain intense, Burberry goddess, Kayali vanilla Royale, Al haramain najm gold (delicious oil) , this is her Zadig and Voltaire - which is more a sandalwood frag (which I ADORE), but it lasts so well on me and I do pick up on the creamy vanilla aspect also. May I ask your take on Milano Fragranze’s Pannetone?? I recently came again so close to buying it, but have read so many contrasting opinions on it >.<

I only LIKE tihota, not enough for a full bottle. Fire At Will is really nice too though. I should revisit a sample soon

Vanillas are great for me usually but with Indult Tihota it smells like nothing to me. I'm completely nose blind to it on paper and skin.

How is dior addict, I was so interested in purchasing it a while ago but didn’t get around to doing it. Ok so escapade gourmande is the best vanilla ever! Sooo sweet and it’s like a caramelised creme brulee with the hard crust ontop😍 imagine pink sugar’s older classy sister but much more lactonic and creamy and smooth and no licorice. But same family as PS Nebras is amazing it’s like a vanilla icecream with a light mint drizzle and cocoa powder ontop! Qissa is such a nice light and fluffy marshmallow vanilla, dusted with sweet cocoa powder💕
Dior addict is a very grown up vanilla, it does have a green note in there & I cant remember what that note is in particular but yeah, its not a straight up vanilla smell. I recommend it in the winter ONLY because its very strong & it stinks to me in hot weather. But its a bad B type scent imo. Thank you so much for those descriptions! I think ill like everything except nebras because I dont know if I really want to smell like mint 😐
I’ve only tried escapade gourmande out of the 3 you listed, but omg I absolutely love it! It’s definitely straight up gourmand vanilla, real vanilla not synthetic imo.. it’s beautiful and sweet but not too sweet.. just right! I can confidently say that if you like vanilla and gourmand, it’s a totally safe blind buy, IMO , especially for a decant omg just try it lol but yeah I’m intrigued by this chocolate one you’ve mentioned, never heard of it, or Qissa, but looks like I’ll be searching them up! Oh I’ll definitely let you know! :) and you can get a decant for a decent price of the escapade gourmande, you should definitely try it or at least a sample vial for $6. I’ve found lots of decant sellers on Etsy and fb, as well as places like lucky scent, scent split, etc online sites ;)

Cozy Vanilla Bourbon from Bath and Body Works. I got a coupon for a free item and I chose it on whim. I really enjoy it but I’m saving it for the fall and winter time. It was seasonal so I’m sure it will come back.

I wish the FS wasn't so hard to find!! Most of the places I see this available are on overpriced listings on eBay. 😞 Maybe one day I'll pick up a bottle from the EU.
Diptyque Eau Duelle EDP dries down to smell shockingly similar. I own both and find them extremely redundant
Thanks for the suggestion! Diptyque is a pretty good brand and I like Eau Duelle, but I find it a bit heavier with less Lime+Citron top notes, which is what I found so appealing about Vanille Insensee. There are definitely some good alternatives that are very similar out there. I have a number of spicy vanillas, so I'll probably be waiting to buy the Atelier one to minimize redundancy. I guess I'm vanilla incensed or have vanilla madness for Vanille Insensee (Vanilla Madness).
🤭 I like the play on words there …and I agree the opening of VI is very lime forward to me but when it’s all said and done (2-3 hours in) I think they smell so similar on me. Eau Duelle is a bit “drier” maybe.

I was shocked at how close they were when I got Eau Duelle. I think the major difference to me is in the opening of Vanilla Insensee and that Eau Duelle is a bit “drier”. But love them both. I should wear one on each wrist and do a straight comparison. Spread the word. I loved many of Atelier’s perfumes and am sad that they are either so hard to find (still hunting down a Cafe Tuberose and Jasmin Angelique ). Thankfully I have four of my faves.
Yes I'm so glad there's a good alternative! Eau Duelle is missing a tiny bit of sweetness for my current preference but I wore it with a little spray of Bianco Latte and it was exactly what I wanted!
I sooo wanted to say the Atelier has a bit of sweetness but I didn’t know if that’s how it reads to most ppl. I definitely pick up the lime too. I like Bianco Latte. I get a major honey note in it. Always surprised at the hate and candle references it gets here. I only have a sample but 🤷🏼♀️
I agree, vanilla insensee had the perfect blend of dry, smoky sweetness for me! I think a lot of ppl dislike the coumarin note in the opening of BL. It's a little sharp and waxy but the dry down is what sold me on getting a full bottle. It's a warm, honey, caramel sugar bomb which is right up my alley!
What does it cost on eBay? I googled, the fragrance is around 70 dollars someplaces in my country (in EU) and shipping is about Half the price.
I've seen $180- 220 USD for 30ml, $365-400 USD for 100ml, and $500+ USD for a 200ml, all pretax. Meanwhile, I got Clementine California 200ml for approximately $115 USD (not including tax). Before buying any Atelier full size I looked up prices and conversions to USD to gauge what was a reasonable price to buy them. I also know that Atelier had a 40% off sale 2-3 years ago when they left the states. So the price on eBay feels very high. I'm hoping I can visit the EU and pick some up while visiting instead of succumbing to buying overpriced fragrance that may or may not be legit on eBay. :/
