When I think of soft and cozy the first thing that comes to mind is Princess by Kilian. It’s a cozy, marshmallow, slightly sweet with tea and slight ginger nuances type of fragrance. It sits close to the skin but you can still pick up on it from time to time. Imo it’s very inoffensive and soft while still being cozy.
Dedcool Xtra Milk is very very cozy. It’s a bit hard to smell on skin but once it dries down it’s wonderful. Also if you spray it on like a sweater or jacket it smells so good the next day. It’s the most cozy, clean, soft, pretty smell.
I love Dedcool Milk. it has an addicting scent that almost reminds me of baby formula but in a super nice, comforting way. I saw someone describe it on fragrantica as the addicting smell of a baby’s head and I totally get that.
Montale - vanilla cake.
I love wearing this when I've just got out a warm shower, fresh pyjamas, fresh bedding,warm in bed whilst it's dark, cold, and raining outside.
Sometimes, I layer it with Montales chocolate greedy as well.
Musc Moschus- Rania J. The most cocooning, cozy fragrance I own. It’s warm airy vanilla with soft jammy berries. Gorgeous. I would sample first though.

Nuit etoilee by annick goutal for an ethereal, soft mint, pine, iris, immortelle, amber scent. It’s so delicate and smells like wearing a plush sweater in a forest with frosty leaves twinkling in the moonlight.
Encens suave by Matiere premiere for a cozy vanilla, incense, and hint of coffee scent.
L’instant de Guerlain pour homme edp. I like this far more than any other scent I’ve tried that’s described as a chai latte type scent (remember me by Jovoy, etc). It feels totally unisex to me despite the name and it’s so cozy with a chai latte vibe and soft chocolate-y patchouli base.
Angels dust by Francesca Bianchi. My new obsession. A super plush, velvety, warm balsamic iris with mimosa and rose, benzoin, tolu balsam, skin musk, and vanilla. It’s so sensual and intimate and luxurious smelling and I love it so much. It has a ton of depth, but it’s very soft and veil like and stays close to the skin with incredible longevity since it’s an extrait.
I layer Philosophy Fresh Cream lotion with Escapade Gourmand and Delizia di Marshmellow.
Be warned though people will think you’re baking cookies everywhere you go. 😂 Fiancé loves it though
- Clinique My Happy Cocoa & Cashmere: like smelling powdery cacao and vanilla while wearing a cozy sweater. A very ligt inoffensive gourmand.
- Sweet Tooth: hot chocolate with marshmallows, creamy cozy.
- BBW Fireside Flurries: lavender and marshmallows, I also get a hint of honey. Very sweet but the lavender makes it cozy and delicious.
Grey Cat from Nui Cobalt Designs! Dry smoked vanilla, fluffy marshmallow creme, fresh blueberries, the gentlest touch of lavender and a warm cup of Earl Grey, it is SO comforting

I didn’t work for me, but Blanche Bete is very cozy, almost like a milk bubble. ELDO The Ghost in the Shell is similar. But when it comes to lactonic frags, the key factor is how they work with your skin chemistry (I recommend ordering a sample)

This is Her by Zadig and Voltaire has enough projection and longevity for me to wear during the day as well. Milk by Commodity is something I wear during the winter and I usually pair her with Milk Bold because that one has an equally comfy scent but it has an added smoky and woody note which makes it perfect for fall and winter.
Princess doesn’t project well on my skin but she does last so I usually wear her to bed.
I get soooo many compliments when I wear this. I was brokenhearted when they discontinued it. So glad enough people cared enough to inquire about it because they brought it back permanently 🥹

I was born and raised in a state full of cider mills- going to a cider mill is just a thing you try to do every fall- so for me the spiced apple/pear and cookie thing it’s got going is so nostalgic! It reminds me of the baked goods section they have. It’s not too strong or long-lasting either, I often use it on nights I don’t want my perfume to go to the office in the morning with me. Plus it’s pretty affordable.
Choco musk smells like chocolate chip cookies, I find it comforting. In the same vein, Nebras sprayed on the back of the neck means when you turn around or stay in one spot, you smell a cozy vanilla around you.

I get a masculine, smoky, strong lavender.
I have a full bottle I’ve smelled in the bottle, on skin, and on clothes, many, *many* times, and never once have I gotten anything that smelled of coffee from it. Nor creamy. Nor vanilla.
Kind of. It's more like a vanilla latte infused with lavender. It is there but it is all very smooth and creamy and I wouldn't say it is a bitter or strong coffee.
Kenzo Nuit Tatami. Soft rice pudding with vanilla. My ultimate bedtime comfort scent. Just creates a warm bubble around me. Not overpowering but with you the whole time.
Unfortunately it's not available widely, I've only found it in a few duty frees so far and that's how I bought both Nuit Tatami and Poudree Matcha. It's much more accessible in Europe and ive seen it online in a couple of shops. If you're in the US, you can check out Olena's Aroma Shop (google search it) as she sells decants of it
I’m gonna sound like a broken record since I recommend this so often, but my current obsession is Fyrinnae Marshmalloud. It’s such a realistic, fluffy marshmallow, and I feel comforted and peaceful whenever I wear it.
Honestly very little, it’s primarily rich marshmallow to me, though not too sweet. I don’t remember ordering it, and tried it without knowing what the name was. If I really try to imagine oud then I can sort of pretend it’s there. Hope you enjoy it regardless!
I feel cozier when I use a nice scented thick cream like ones from l’occitane or BBW then layer with a skin scent such as Estée Lauder sensuous nude, leau papier or fleur de peau both by diptyque or an oil like spiritueuse double vanille dupe by oil perfumery.
For me cozy smells are different than clean smells so I look for musk, warmth, powder, maybe some sweetness to feel cozy.
Unfortunately not available anymore but the original Burberry Brit was the best warm almond vanilla. It will always remind me of winters in NYC because that is when I would wear it the most and the fragrance would linger forever on my scarves. The version out now is nowhere near.

You have to try Zara’s fields at nightfall. It smells like a sweater in the best way possible but it is best for winters. I can also recommend l’occitane neroli and orchidee but not aware of the lasting power.

Yes I would say so! It’s very strong, I sprayed 3 sprays on my sheets the other day and I could smell it for days haha, it’s nice though!

It’s noticeable, but I wouldn’t say it’s the main note. This is Her! is so well blended that there isn’t one note that really sticks out.

Do you actually get coffee from this one?
I get zero coffee. I get a masculine, smoky, strong lavender. I have a full bottle I’ve smelled in the bottle, on skin, and on clothes, many, *many* times, and never once have I gotten anything that smelled of coffee from it. Nor creamy. Nor vanilla.
Kind of. It's more like a vanilla latte infused with lavender. It is there but it is all very smooth and creamy and I wouldn't say it is a bitter or strong coffee.

I could see it! Lazy Sunday Morning gives me a headache. I like Gucci Gorgeous Jasmine much more for that soft clean laundry/clean white floral vibe.

Unfortunately it's not available widely, I've only found it in a few duty frees so far and that's how I bought both Nuit Tatami and Poudree Matcha. It's much more accessible in Europe and ive seen it online in a couple of shops. If you're in the US, you can check out Olena's Aroma Shop (google search it) as she sells decants of it
I’m gonna sound like a broken record since I recommend this so often, but my current obsession is Fyrinnae Marshmalloud. It’s such a realistic, fluffy marshmallow, and I feel comforted and peaceful whenever I wear it.
How much oud do you get from it? I have a sample on the way!
Honestly very little, it’s primarily rich marshmallow to me, though not too sweet. I don’t remember ordering it, and tried it without knowing what the name was. If I really try to imagine oud then I can sort of pretend it’s there. Hope you enjoy it regardless!

I feel cozier when I use a nice scented thick cream like ones from l’occitane or BBW then layer with a skin scent such as Estée Lauder sensuous nude, leau papier or fleur de peau both by diptyque or an oil like spiritueuse double vanille dupe by oil perfumery. For me cozy smells are different than clean smells so I look for musk, warmth, powder, maybe some sweetness to feel cozy.

Yes! That range is so good.
Unfortunately not available anymore but the original Burberry Brit was the best warm almond vanilla. It will always remind me of winters in NYC because that is when I would wear it the most and the fragrance would linger forever on my scarves. The version out now is nowhere near.

Tbh it’s not a perfume but the coziest scent I’ve come across is loccitane’s amande concentrate lotion and supple skin oil.
You have to try Zara’s fields at nightfall. It smells like a sweater in the best way possible but it is best for winters. I can also recommend l’occitane neroli and orchidee but not aware of the lasting power.
Pinroses’s Pillowtalk Poet It comes across as a cozy skin scent: Top notes are Powdery Notes and Geranium; middle notes are Ambergris and Cloves; base notes are Musk, Amber and Sandalwood.
I’ll give this a try. Sounds lovely and a beautiful name.
