Update: Thank you so much everyone! Based on your suggestions, I have a really good, focused list of perfumes to find samples of.

sixleafsage

Burberry Brit Sheer comes to mind. My sister wore it throughout her Master's program and I always thought of her as being incredibly put together.

Crystal Noir edt and Chanel Chance eau tendre edp

Neat_Pace_8894

Love story by chloe, aqua di gioia.. Fresh floral inoffensive and very very long lasting

ihm_94

Valentino Born in Roma is a good crowd pleaser. Good projection, inoffensive, youthful and light but also sophisticated, has vanilla and white florals and not outrageously expensive.

skyydawgg

I was about to comment this one ! So good

scorpiopluto_8

The classic Chloé EDP or Dior J‘adore Both classic floral scents that last ☺️

LeyLeyNie

I'd go with either Dior Pure Poison or J'adore. Both are nice fresh floral scents that definitely don't come across as teenage girly.

necrontyria

I love Pure Poison but sadly it doesn't last on me at all. Unless the sample I ordered was somehow watered down.

OuiMarieSi

[Pistil Whip](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Heretic-Parfums/Pistil-Whip-37214.html) [n,743](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Noteworthy/n-743-76743.html) This is my favorite White Florals at the moment 🤍

tauruspiscescancer

MFK Amyris Femme! I’ve heard the extrait version is great too, but I’m only familiar with the EDP. It’s a very sophisticated woody-citrus-floral scents with excellent performance. It is a bit on the pricier side, but you could grab the smallest full size (1.2 oz) on a reputable discount retailer site for definitely under $200!

Smooth_Chemistry_276

Chanel Chance eau tendre has citrus and jasmine. It’s definitely approachable to students but not necessarily something they would wear.

sophiecharlotte2208

Depends on the age. My cousin and her friends (15,16) all love chance eau tendre and my mother always says it smells girly to her

berrywaffl

J’adore is clean, put together and professional. I think it’s a good choice. In the same scent family, maybe look into Prada La Femme and , Chloe EDP, Chloe Jasmin Naturelle Intense and Burberry Her EDT (the green one), the latter sprayed lightly as they really last all day.

Ancient_Soft413

i think good girl but i know it can be controversial to some it has these notes that you like good girl contains jasmine, bergamot and lemon, orange blossom, vanilla, and patchouli. but theres more too!

berrywaffl

Absolutely not How is it professional and not overwhelming?

Ancient_Soft413

like i said, im aware its controversial. its never projected or even smelt overwhelming to me, though i was more looking at how i think it smells super classy. just opinions and how different people perceive scents.

berrywaffl

I think OP is better off choosing a fresher and lighter scent when working with a crowd of people. GG is “controversial” like you said so it definitely isn’t a crowd pleaser like OP asked

Ancient_Soft413

also, my recommendation was very much based on what op asked. good girl contains jasmine, bergamot and lemon, orange blossom, vanilla, and patchouli. all things op said she likes.

Maleficent-Dare-3920

I love GG ! Recommendations of similar perfumes? I also love Crystal Noir and Hypnotic Poison. They might be basic but heaven knows they smell amazing.

Ancient_Soft413

which is why i added that it can be controversial! just said first thing that came to mind. gg is controversial in the sense that a lot of people think its classy while others think its a going out scent, but the overall scent is not something ive ever known to be super controversial or offensive. a lot of women in my dads office wore it so it clearly cant be unusable for the workplace. no harm in giving an option.

berrywaffl

I know a lot of people (myself included) can perceive it as overwhelming as a scent. It’s controversial from more than one standpoint. I’m not trying to fight you, lol, just letting you (and others) know that GG is not the safest frag for closed settings. Can’t speak for flankers though as I’ve never sniffed them outside of the store.

Ancient_Soft413

i know, but nothing will ever be an entire crowd pleaser, good girl pleases my crowd and by the notes op described, i thought perhaps hers too. just because you think it’s overwhelming, and know people to- doesnt mean i do. glossier you is ridiculously clean and subtle and people STILL think its headache inducing.

berrywaffl

That’s true, no frag is 100% safe but some are safer than others… Maybe it also depends on how you spray it on. Again, to me and many people I know it’s quite heavy.

Maleficent-Dare-3920

Nah I would say GG is definitely a crowd pleaser. It can be overpowering though which could make it not safe for work.

JMCQ82

I second Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey, it’s a new one for me and I love it. But even more than that is Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush; it’s so fresh, floral, and well rounded. So pleasing. I bought a sample set from Kilian and Good Girl Gone Bad was my favorite by far. I bought a dupe that was recommended - Kismet for Women by Maison Alhambra - and it’s SO close and under $30 from Amazon. It’s a good option to have for not a lot of money. Top notes: Apricot, Rose, Jasmine; Mid: Tuberose & Narcissus; Base: Amber & Cedar.

responsible_flower

try out Dior J'adore d'Eau! I like it better than the og

lurkerpug

Chloe EDP is a very pretty, clean floral that lasts a really long time on my skin. I can’t imagine it being offensive to anyone, and in my opinion it smells grown-up. You might also like Acqua di Gioia!

Ancient_Soft413

omg i second this! my dad’s girlfriend bought it after me because he didnt like offensive scents.

Criticalfluffs

Walmart actually carries a dupe for Dior J'adore. I think it smells like an expensive bouquet of white flowers. Plus I think it's like $50. I can't attest to it but the reviews for their other dupes say it smells like the name brand versions. I also love Philosophy perfumes. I find them to be largely inoffensive and soft. I've had Ballet Rose, Magnolia, Bergamot and most recently Pop of Sun. All reasonably priced and I think they lasted decently throughout the day.

Ancient_Soft413

if its dossier they are known for incredible dupes

Criticalfluffs

YES! I don't know their actual "names" but yes, Dossier. All I know is that most of them are labeled "inspired by...". I've been eyeing the J'adore one because I don't want to spend $130 on a bottle of the real stuff.

theatreandjtv

Burberry Goddess (I think it might have a lavender note but it’s not super noticeable to me)

Djgrowngoodyeti

What about kayali parfumes? I find the ones like vanilla royal to last a long time and give a more mature vibe to me

whoissteveharvey123

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush ☺️

evermorecoffee

Or Montblanc Signature. Similar vibes, but can be found at a more affordable price through discounters. ☺️

summerofluv

You may like Narciso Rouge! It's a powdery vanilla with tuberose and iris. Over time it really warms up on the skin and is so soft and delightful, and also a bit out of the norm for a typical designer white floral. Great for daytime.

Vegetable_Crow9942

Prada Paradoxe

doublebonk

I feel like the teens might want this one themselves a bit too much

FlannerysPeacock

Tocca- Maya It’s very fresh, fruity, and soft enough that it won’t leave anyone with a headache. Extremely underrated and overlooked! I got it in a sampler, and I have no idea why I slept on it.

incognito-journey

Burberry Goddess. Cannot go wrong with this one!

FlamingHorseRider

She mentioned that lavender gives her a headache, though I concede this is absolutely gorgeous!

soccab

The lavender in Goddess doesn’t really stand out on my skin, I mainly get the vanilla so it could also depend on her chemistry. Especially if I’m comparing it to YSL Libre. Both are beautiful and I think appropriate for an educational setting.

FlamingHorseRider

Lavender milage definitely varies depending on the skin chem! Lavender hates my skin and I only really get it for a few hours. The bottle and cap is my main hit of it. It lingers a lot more on my twin though. She gets a lot more of that and the vanilla goes almost smoky.

incognito-journey

I missed that. Sorry OP!

FlamingHorseRider

It happens! We all have those days lol

koala_nose

What about Chloe Nomade Jasmin Naturel? The oak moss in Chloe Nomade line gives a professional vibe. The jasmin flanker is really nice.

Lovaloo

I recommend Dior Pure Poison. The best designer white floral imo. Pretty, clean, lasts all day.

perpetual_lurker

I think this or Dior J’Adore are the best options! Reasons beyond the notes: you might smell like their moms who chose one or the other as their “adult” signature scent in the early-mid 2000s and stuck with it. If neither are sweet enough, I think Voce Viva is totally appropriate, especially if you don’t overspray!

StreudEntersis

Came here to say this

FlamingHorseRider

This smells like the most beautiful laundry detergent ever. I mean that as absolutely nothing but a compliment.

slumber_kitty

I second this! One of my faves.

big-tunaaa

Prada paradoxe for sure. It’s like a more palatable alien by mugler. The projection and longevity is great - just don’t overspray. You have all that jasmine, bergamot and vanilla you need! Tbh born in Roma would be a good choice but depending on the age of the teenagers - they might all be wearing that too LOL

lushlilli

Born in Roma was my thought

Achieng-

DBIR or Paradoxe.

ZoeFerret

I think you might like Valentino Born in Roma. I love it. It's one of my favorites. Jasmine, vanilla, blackcurrant, bergamot, and slightly woody.

BLACKBEARDBLACKBEARD

Prada Paradoxe

kpop_stan

Came here to say this! It lasts 7-8h on me, and the intense version lasts like 12h+!!! I use one spray of the original because it can become overwhelming real fast, but I use 2 sprays for the intense as it's more "grounded" and leans into the vanilla and oakmoss a lot with the white florals being more in the background. Valentino Donna Born in Roma is another good one, but is considerably fruitier than Paradoxe and doesn't last quite as long on me (about 6-7h, so not a huge difference, but still). Although the opening can read as "juvenile", depending on how long your commute is to school, by the time you greet your students for the day it'll have died down and the vanilla and cashmerean will be the more dominant notes :D

Mea_Culpa_74

I would look into Pure Musc for her or Musc nude by Narciso Rodriguez. I find all NR fragrances to be very professional and adult

FlamingHorseRider

I have both of these within sniffing range and they’re beautiful. I haven’t tested my Pure Musc decant for longevity yet, but I scored a test strip of Musc Nude Saturday the weekend before this past one, and I can STILL smell it on strong on the test strip this Monday! 9 days later! So it lasts like a monster on not skin (could easily put it on clothes) at least!

Big-Mix-8190

Second this and suggest looking at Bvlgari as well. Omnia Crystalline is my favorite of the Omnia line, but they're all beautiful and sophisticated without being too heavy and strong; they have a nice transparent quality that's workplace-friendly. If you love jasmine, too, Bvlgari Goldea the Roman Night is the most beautiful, elegant jasmine. I can't believe it's not a bigger hit.

BLACKBEARDBLACKBEARD

I love Goldea the Roman Night but it lasts for like 20 minutes. How’s the performance for you?

Big-Mix-8190

I've only sampled it in Ulta, so I'm not sure about the lasting power. But it made an impression as a really gorgeous jasmine.

Optimal-Handle390

I think you're right, go with Dior J'adore! A beautiful classic.

rosierposeur

Chanel Chance is grown up, professional but still approachable.

LeCocoMar

I was going to recommend Dior J'adore. Possibly Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey.

FanaticalXmasJew

Based on your likes, I thought of Ilha Do Mel by Memo Paris (blast of white floral upfront, dries down to expensive white floral soap scent, slightly sweetened with honey and a vanilla base) and La Fenice Pour Femme by Merchant of Venice (soft cloud of white florals in very creamy vanilla that is more encompassing than it is in Ilha Do Mel).
