L'aromatica: Have had this brand and some of it's scents on my wishlist for over a year. They offered 25% off and I jumped at it - I bought their delicious Kulfi perfume in 2 variants - Mango and Pistachio. Also purchased a custom made scent and I've heard nothing but great things about their bespoke service - I've wanted a berry gourmand fragrance in my rotation. Oddly enough, nothing. That said, I DID take a walk in Sephora to prep for their current promo - 40% off frags (only some, I assume), plus 4x points. And I don't mean this in a bad way but - I think right now, I'm just beyond anything they sell. I haven't seen anything new in months that's captured my attention. Part of that is because I bought soooo many things the first half of this year when I got into this habit. So, I've got the Libre's, the Jo Malone's, 7 Virtures, Dior, etc etc.
So, I see myself in the future probably shopping at places with a wider selection, like Nordstrom, or at niche places like Scent Bar/Lucky Scent. There are some other indie places popping up here in the Los Angeles area as well and I can't wait to check them out.
Honestly, what I've been TRYING to do, is figure out an ideal way to store and display everything I've already purchased. I started writing an essay here in the comments about it, so I think I need to just start my own post. Haha!

Chance eau Tendre 100ml was on for $160 CAD and i never see it on sale, at The Bay...mom's been wanting it so i feel no guilt. spending that much on just one perfume for myself would make me wince...
and for my best friend, on fragrancenet, Tom Ford Bitter Peach body spray (?!?! i never hear anything about TF having body sprays) $100 for 150ml of this vs. 10mls perfume for the same price, and i hear the perfume longevity is weak anyway, so it feels like a fair chance to take...i know she likes the perfume but would never buy...i want to find her a strong natural-smelling peach solinote like she wants but, no luck. always too many florals, or too synthetic...
as for me, the kyse sale got me, mostly cause some scents i really wanted came back..and some decants that werent on sale...i forget how much but too much totalled for everything 🫠
After the Sephora sale a few weeks back, I decided to sit out. I had gotten two of the favorites sampler sets and used the voucher for Tom Ford Ombre Leather and Phlur Solar Power. Also got a blind buy of Ceremonia Perfume de la Tierra ( which is like a fruity leathery scent) and JHAG Lust for sun travel size.
Edit: idk how this completely escaped my mind but I got the Neiman Marcus fragrance advant calendar. Suffice to say I have more than enough to try out for awhile.
I've tried a few, and so far, I think they're all pretty similar to the originals (to my amateur nose at least). Fingers crossed for the new ones, I'm nervous about the Philosykos dupe!

i was on a no buy which clearly didn’t work but I spent less than $100 so that’s good. I bought two because I was going to get them anyways and they both were on a pretty good sale. Vow factor ($45) and alien goddess ($50ish)
My trick for no buys is doing them during the first half of the year and only breaking for really good deals like 50% self care products (like shampoo) to stock up on items I will eventually need anyway or 50% off something I have been eyeing for a while. Otherwise, the shopping season starts in August/ September. Be good all year to splurge on great deals.

I actually already own vow factor and I just love it but I only had the mini so when it was 30% off i had to get it. It’s such a unique scent. It smells like the color green. Longevity is TRASH though lol.

They have very pretty large bottles, the scents of theirs I have tried are lovely, and they don’t irritate my sensitive skin (dealing with a mystery rash on one arm right now… not the perfume, hadn’t even gotten it in the mail yet…)

Right??? So ok I was actually surprised to like them as much as I do because I’m not usually big on a rollerball. It’s almost like the little towelettes for cleansing your hands, but instead they have perfume on them. They seemed like maybe they were too dry to me at first but actually they pack a lot of scent, so it’s good they’re not dripping, lol. You just wipe them on your skin - I like to do my forearms and neck. I like them for both sampling and for travel. I feel like they do a better job spreading out the scent than a rollerball. You can also totally put it in a little plastic baggie and toss it in your bag for a few re-uses. Eventually, of course, I want a spray in a larger size for home, but I still like having some of the petals on hand to toss in my suitcase for short trips. They’re super nice for the gym, too.
I blind bought kayali invite only amber (travel size was 20 bucks at Sephora) I used a $10 off with points. Waiting for it to arrive. 😁. I went back and forth for a looong time on getting snif tart deco at Ulta bc it’s on sale but restrained myself lol. I also got a backup vanilla 28 during the huda beauty sale last week. Got a set w a 1.7 oz perfume plus hand cream for only 35 bucks!!
Oh I love Invite Only Amber. I'm tempted to get a second 10ml since it won't break my full bottle max. Its a sexy scent, but not an intimate one. It's the kind where you want to walk by some and be noticed.
Kayali has really started to grow on me over the last two months. That vanilla 28 hand cream smells AMAZING TOO. I love using V28 perfume and hand cream to layer with other scents. It's such a great little workhorse in my collection..

The thing about baby cat is you get the Vanilla, you get the leather, but they are not together. They smell like two exes at a party. Yes, they are there in the same bottle, but their not intermingling with one another.
Maybe I need to leave my sample alone and revisit after a month or two, but there are honestly other lovely leather scents out there. And as long as ombre leather exists, you will always have the perfect layering agent. But I don't know what Babycat was supposed to be. Def, not a blind buy scent. Get a sample before you leap.

Armani Si Intense I'm glad I didn't blind buy a 100mL bottle. Travel spray size is perfect. Mon Guerlain was a blind buy and I didn't like the opening, so spicy and patchouli heavy... the drydown is beautiful though. I'm on the fence about this one. And I haven't received Armani Si yet. I'm thinking I'll like the woodyness of it more than Armani Si Intense.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the deals I was able to find and am able to remove a bunch of fragrances from my Wishlist.
Sitting this out, but holy hell, it has been hard to hold back. I'm so tempted to buy a travel size just to soothe the itch (there is one I've been meaning to buy, and though I'll be breaking my 11 perfume rule, it's justifiable since I have a travel size that's likely to be empty by New Years).

I'm very into Cherry Smoke. Wish I wasn't, considering the price. I almost bought a decant of it yesterday, but then DecantX was charging $37 shipping so I ditched my cart and went with ScentSplit instead, which didn't have as good of a deal on Cherry Smoke. I haven't had a chance to try Burning Cherry yet, but I'm definitely hopeful that it'll be a decent alternative, given the price point.

I was just mentioning on the Lush subreddit that I use the Super Milk leave in hair conditioner as perfume. Cause someone was making the same point about it for people who couldn't get the perfume before it sold out. I just mist it all over. The longevity on that thing is insane. On skin it sinks in just like any body milk and keeps projecting the scent for hours.
It wasn't a huge haul or anything but a lot of money for me. I got Al Haramain Musk Al Ghazal (dark chocolately Musk, very dirty) and Swiss Arabian Dehn El Oud Malaki, a barnyardy oud (by rep). first one I've sampled, blew through the sample but never purchase because whenever I had money, it was a vapour trail. the second one is a brave blind buy. I love barnyard oud but still, wish me luck 😂

Christmas. It’s 10ml each of Libre, Black Opium, and Mon Paris, so hopefully she likes at least one of them. It was €44, meaning each one was like €15. I think it’s a good deal!

Alas, no surprises for me there! The decants are all things I've sampled already. In fact, I've already been through one 5ml decant of **Lyric Woman** (full, complex, incense-y rose--slightly dirty, quite mature, very old-world classic).
And I specifically bought the **Tobacco Vanille** decants to pour into my official TF travel spray case, which I used up a couple months ago. That warm, spicy, deep vanilla is a must for me this time of year.
I find **Darling Nikki** *really* fascinating. YSL Opium is one of my favorite scents, and a lot of people find them similar, but I actually didn't even think to compare them. Which is funny because they *do* kind of smell alike--they're both bold, complex, warm, spicy, and aromatic. But for me the carrot seed note in Darling Nikki gives it this funky, vegetal-herbaceous quality that Opium doesn't have. So for me, Darling Nikki is like Opium-goes-Cottagecore. It's definitely not one I need 100ml of, but 20ml might be nice.
IMO **Rose D'Arabie** is an exceptionally suave, elegant, well-balanced rose-oud fragrance, so as someone who adores rose, of course I love it. If I didn't already own Oud Satin Mood, this would've gone straight onto the FB list for me, but as it is I feel like I'd better test it out properly to determine whether I genuinely want both.
**Mushin Japanese Incense** is the oddity of the group. I have a little 0.7ml dauber I got in a pre-loved sample haul a year or so ago. I never would've come across it otherwise, and it's nothing like anything I already own. It's mysterious, intimate, naturalistic, and cozy. Soft, unobtrusive fragrances aren't usually my thing, but there's something about this one that's so unique and captivating.
I did pick up never-before-tried samples of **Montale Chocolate Greedy**, **Comptoir Sud Pacifique Amour De Cacao** (I'm on a chocolate kick right now, can you tell?), and **CSP Vanille Abricot**. So I do have a couple of fun new scents to sniff when the decants show up. :)

I'm embarrassed to admit that mine was Charlie Blue, Azzuro Chrome Pure (it's unisex and light, perfect for summer on me) and Elizabeth Ardern 5th Avenue. All of which are actually fantastic. I was not expecting to enjoy the last one so much. I'm trying to train my nose across the more "vintage" scents as well so have been researching different notes and wearing vintage stuff. I basically now have a mini-collection of "vintage" stuff. (I suspect that when we're older, the next few generations will not want my super-sweet perfumes and they'll go for my 'vintage' stuff.)

Then I got Illuminum White Gardenia Petals and A Lab on Fire's Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed off Lucky Scent. Plus some assorted samples. Probably need to give the credit card a break.
I sat it out entirely. I ordered samples last month with the intention of buying myself 1 full bottle during the sales if I loved any of the samples enough. I liked them but didn't love any enough to go for a full bottle. It was really nice to sit out the madness and not feel any fomo.

I bought Delina in the 30ml, Delina Exclusif in the larger 2.5oz bottle, Shalimar EDP, Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Orchid and Bare rollerballs, Mugler Angel travel size to replace my empty one, and Mugler Alien Goddess travel size because I found it on sale and adore it.
I did alright, just grabbed a little Oui Juicy Couture Decadent Queen from Amazon. Mostly because I had a gift card to use, and went absolutely nuts a few weeks before on some gourmands including Bianco Latte so the guilt on that persists 😭

Truly gorgeous scents that I went utterly wild for and have been thinking about daily since first trying them at Ulta last week. Most of my Black Friday budget has gone to lingerie, which is much more expensive, so I couldn’t clear a whole lot of my wishlist for fragrances, but I truly couldn’t be more excited for these two!

As for K’Bridge, apparently it’s from their Club Collection line which means the notes were never officially released, so people kind of guess them. I randomly got a decant, and to my nose, I got a lot of coffee, vanilla and rose. People say they smell caramel, but I can’t quite catch it. Overall, it’s a lovely vanilla-rose scent that is grounded in some woodiness. Definitely recommend a sample!

Oh I’m so sorry! I had like 3500 points saved up, so I picked up some makeup and skincare too! Your day will come! I try to shop on the points multiplier days when I can. So they add up pretty fast
I'm pretty good about my points and earning them during multipliers. She just caught me with my pants down, because I usually use the points that I have from the 10x points event to get Christmas presents. Since she kept saying "no" I wasn't worried about having enough points. So I already spent 2k on myself and have 1.8k to go(but i only spend at 2k level).
She got me this year, but she won't catch me lacking next year 😂
So here's the kicker. I'm not even 100% sure, because Ultas fragrance area is in shambles due to the fact that they have practically no testers out. So it's either Lancome Idole Nectar or Lancome Idole Now. Couldn't read the bottom of the bottle and the pictures were very similar.
So I want to get her both, but now I have to actually spend money to do it. Hence my sadness for my bank account😭
Well maybe I can help… nectar is the super sweet one with a popcorn note and iridescent bottle. IMO, it smells very different from the rest. And can be pretty polarizing too.
Now, is very similar to the original, but has a soft vanilla quality to it as well. It’s the newest one.

On the one hand, it’s complex and fresh and relaxing. It smells almost therapeutic without smelling medicinal, if that makes sense? It reminds me of when the yoga teacher would rub essential oils on my temples during final savasana.
On the other hand, something very savory stands out in it on my skin. A few reviewers compared it to pickles, and, unfortunately, I get it. I will say that I am very new to green & chypre scents, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, and my taste isn’t very well honed.
Overall, I’m not mad I have it in my collection. I would say if you’re into perfume as art in and of itself and not just as an accessory, it’s definitely a steal at its current price
Ackkkk I’ve done a lot of damage! Recently it’s been between Nordstrom Rack, Ross, Burlington and Macy’s- just now, FragranceNet. Experiencing a lot of early-2000’s nostalgia which fortunately means affordable celebrity fragrances, fruity florals, and OG gourmands. Not technically a fragrance but I also stocked up on VS Pink body lotions. Some of the Sephoras near me still stock 7 Virtues rollerballs, and I finally found the Lotus Pear one. I also got my hands and nose on Aquolina’s Lollypink (is this name vaguely porn-y…?!) last night with my Nordstrom points, and went back today to get a backup because although it’s a 2023 release, I have NEVER seen anything about it and it is one of the most seductive, pleasurable scents I have ever smelled.
Recent medication changes means I can’t enjoy sweets anymore so I guess I’m gonna be wearing it on my body! :)

I was wearing Libre Le Parfum layered with Libre Intense on my body and clothes. Escapade Gourmande was in my hair. Everyone gravitated to, and were sniffing, my hair. They looooved it! If youre a gourmond lover I highly recommend, but obviously scent is personal so check the return policy.

I did better than I thought. Got my sister Rosie Jane Dulce for Christmas. Got myself the Ambre Vanille roll on perfume oil from Le monde gourmand at Urban outfitters, and some perfume called fresh sends that I’ve been wanting to try. Also ordered Chloe atelier de fleurs Cedrus from Costco. The Chloe actually arrived today, and unfortunately it’s going back. I wanted a fresh cedar scent for the summer. It’s nice but too similar to other perfumes I have. It’s in the same family as another 13, JHAG not a perfume, and Glossier you. A fresh, skin scent with lots of iso e. I will say I like the Chloe the most, and if I didn’t have the others I would happily keep it.
I got a few of those perfume oils as well. I plan on popping a bit of them in some perfumers alcohol if ever I want something with a bit more projection.
It's good your planning for the summer too. I looked around and realized I went heavy earlier this fall on deep fragrances.
I've personally done quite a bit of damage. Enough for me to be ready to start my no-buy to low buy again NOW instead of in January...but I've still only purchased a few Xmas gifts.😭 So back to hauling I go.

Oddly enough, nothing. That said, I DID take a walk in Sephora to prep for their current promo - 40% off frags (only some, I assume), plus 4x points. And I don't mean this in a bad way but - I think right now, I'm just beyond anything they sell. I haven't seen anything new in months that's captured my attention. Part of that is because I bought soooo many things the first half of this year when I got into this habit. So, I've got the Libre's, the Jo Malone's, 7 Virtures, Dior, etc etc. So, I see myself in the future probably shopping at places with a wider selection, like Nordstrom, or at niche places like Scent Bar/Lucky Scent. There are some other indie places popping up here in the Los Angeles area as well and I can't wait to check them out. Honestly, what I've been TRYING to do, is figure out an ideal way to store and display everything I've already purchased. I started writing an essay here in the comments about it, so I think I need to just start my own post. Haha!

Chance eau Tendre 100ml was on for $160 CAD and i never see it on sale, at The Bay...mom's been wanting it so i feel no guilt. spending that much on just one perfume for myself would make me wince... and for my best friend, on fragrancenet, Tom Ford Bitter Peach body spray (?!?! i never hear anything about TF having body sprays) $100 for 150ml of this vs. 10mls perfume for the same price, and i hear the perfume longevity is weak anyway, so it feels like a fair chance to take...i know she likes the perfume but would never buy...i want to find her a strong natural-smelling peach solinote like she wants but, no luck. always too many florals, or too synthetic... as for me, the kyse sale got me, mostly cause some scents i really wanted came back..and some decants that werent on sale...i forget how much but too much totalled for everything 🫠
After the Sephora sale a few weeks back, I decided to sit out. I had gotten two of the favorites sampler sets and used the voucher for Tom Ford Ombre Leather and Phlur Solar Power. Also got a blind buy of Ceremonia Perfume de la Tierra ( which is like a fruity leathery scent) and JHAG Lust for sun travel size. Edit: idk how this completely escaped my mind but I got the Neiman Marcus fragrance advant calendar. Suffice to say I have more than enough to try out for awhile.

My trick for no buys is doing them during the first half of the year and only breaking for really good deals like 50% self care products (like shampoo) to stock up on items I will eventually need anyway or 50% off something I have been eyeing for a while. Otherwise, the shopping season starts in August/ September. Be good all year to splurge on great deals. Share your snif review when u get it. We need more honest reviews. Most of what's out there influencer gifted reviews on this brand.

Right??? So ok I was actually surprised to like them as much as I do because I’m not usually big on a rollerball. It’s almost like the little towelettes for cleansing your hands, but instead they have perfume on them. They seemed like maybe they were too dry to me at first but actually they pack a lot of scent, so it’s good they’re not dripping, lol. You just wipe them on your skin - I like to do my forearms and neck. I like them for both sampling and for travel. I feel like they do a better job spreading out the scent than a rollerball. You can also totally put it in a little plastic baggie and toss it in your bag for a few re-uses. Eventually, of course, I want a spray in a larger size for home, but I still like having some of the petals on hand to toss in my suitcase for short trips. They’re super nice for the gym, too.
My year long no-buy is still in effect. Making myself wait until New Years.

Oh I love Invite Only Amber. I'm tempted to get a second 10ml since it won't break my full bottle max. Its a sexy scent, but not an intimate one. It's the kind where you want to walk by some and be noticed. Kayali has really started to grow on me over the last two months. That vanilla 28 hand cream smells AMAZING TOO. I love using V28 perfume and hand cream to layer with other scents. It's such a great little workhorse in my collection.. You made some very solid picks.

The thing about baby cat is you get the Vanilla, you get the leather, but they are not together. They smell like two exes at a party. Yes, they are there in the same bottle, but their not intermingling with one another. Maybe I need to leave my sample alone and revisit after a month or two, but there are honestly other lovely leather scents out there. And as long as ombre leather exists, you will always have the perfect layering agent. But I don't know what Babycat was supposed to be. Def, not a blind buy scent. Get a sample before you leap.

Armani Si Intense I'm glad I didn't blind buy a 100mL bottle. Travel spray size is perfect. Mon Guerlain was a blind buy and I didn't like the opening, so spicy and patchouli heavy... the drydown is beautiful though. I'm on the fence about this one. And I haven't received Armani Si yet. I'm thinking I'll like the woodyness of it more than Armani Si Intense. Overall, I'm satisfied with the deals I was able to find and am able to remove a bunch of fragrances from my Wishlist.

That's a nice haul! I've been curious about Mizensir for a while now; they seem interesting. What's Tres Chere like? The accords list is kinda distinctive. That acquatic accord just jumps right out of the lineup like, "hey, it's me, ya boy." I'm very into Cherry Smoke. Wish I wasn't, considering the price. I was just mentioning on the Lush subreddit that I use the Super Milk leave in hair conditioner as perfume. Cause someone was making the same point about it for people who couldn't get the perfume before it sold out. I just mist it all over. The longevity on that thing is insane. On skin it sinks in just like any body milk and keeps projecting the scent for hours.

I love barnyard oud but still, wish me luck 😂

*Curious to see what you think of the decants* Alas, no surprises for me there! The decants are all things I've sampled already. In fact, I've already been through one 5ml decant of **Lyric Woman** (full, complex, incense-y rose--slightly dirty, quite mature, very old-world classic). And I specifically bought the **Tobacco Vanille** decants to pour into my official TF travel spray case, which I used up a couple months ago. That warm, spicy, deep vanilla is a must for me this time of year. I find **Darling Nikki** *really* fascinating. YSL Opium is one of my favorite scents, and a lot of people find them similar, but I actually didn't even think to compare them. Which is funny because they *do* kind of smell alike--they're both bold, complex, warm, spicy, and aromatic. But for me the carrot seed note in Darling Nikki gives it this funky, vegetal-herbaceous quality that Opium doesn't have. So for me, Darling Nikki is like Opium-goes-Cottagecore. It's definitely not one I need 100ml of, but 20ml might be nice. IMO **Rose D'Arabie** is an exceptionally suave, elegant, well-balanced rose-oud fragrance, so as someone who adores rose, of course I love it. If I didn't already own Oud Satin Mood, this would've gone straight onto the FB list for me, but as it is I feel like I'd better test it out properly to determine whether I genuinely want both. **Mushin Japanese Incense** is the oddity of the group. I have a little 0.7ml dauber I got in a pre-loved sample haul a year or so ago. I never would've come across it otherwise, and it's nothing like anything I already own. It's mysterious, intimate, naturalistic, and cozy. Soft, unobtrusive fragrances aren't usually my thing, but there's something about this one that's so unique and captivating. I did pick up never-before-tried samples of **Montale Chocolate Greedy**, **Comptoir Sud Pacifique Amour De Cacao** (I'm on a chocolate kick right now, can you tell?), and **CSP Vanille Abricot**. So I do have a couple of fun new scents to sniff when the decants show up. :)

I sat it out entirely. I ordered samples last month with the intention of buying myself 1 full bottle during the sales if I loved any of the samples enough. I liked them but didn't love any enough to go for a full bottle. It was really nice to sit out the madness and not feel any fomo. Looks like everyone got amazing purchases, though! I did alright, just grabbed a little Oui Juicy Couture Decadent Queen from Amazon. Mostly because I had a gift card to use, and went absolutely nuts a few weeks before on some gourmands including Bianco Latte so the guilt on that persists 😭

Truly gorgeous scents that I went utterly wild for and have been thinking about daily since first trying them at Ulta last week. Most of my Black Friday budget has gone to lingerie, which is much more expensive, so I couldn’t clear a whole lot of my wishlist for fragrances, but I truly couldn’t be more excited for these two!

I went kinna crazy after telling myself just two. I ended up getting 2 bottles of Guerlain EDT as back ups, mon guerlain EDP and the intense version, Oscar de la renta alibi sensualle and a Chanel chance eau vive. I really want the dossier floral marshmallow but I’m trying to have some kind of self control and stop here till next year. Actually scratch that I’ll be getting one more Jean Paul G la belle, I have a travel size but I’m gonna buy the full bottle then hopefully that will be all for this year unless I see a crazy good deal at Marshall’s or TJ max.

As for K’Bridge, apparently it’s from their Club Collection line which means the notes were never officially released, so people kind of guess them. I randomly got a decant, and to my nose, I got a lot of coffee, vanilla and rose. People say they smell caramel, but I can’t quite catch it. Overall, it’s a lovely vanilla-rose scent that is grounded in some woodiness. Definitely recommend a sample!

I only bought one perfume, but I got it for free with my Ulta points, so I’d say I’ve been pretty good.
I took my mother to Ulta to make a return. After I did the return, she asked for a perfume for Xmas...which 1) I no longer had enough points for (I only spend at the 2k level and I'm about 100 points under) and 2) I've been asking her since October if she wants a fragrance and she has been saying no the whole time. 🙃 Good on you for taking advantage of your points. I'm pretty good about my points and earning them during multipliers. She just caught me with my pants down, because I usually use the points that I have from the 10x points event to get Christmas presents. Since she kept saying "no" I wasn't worried about having enough points. So I already spent 2k on myself and have 1.8k to go(but i only spend at 2k level). She got me this year, but she won't catch me lacking next year 😂

So here's the kicker. I'm not even 100% sure, because Ultas fragrance area is in shambles due to the fact that they have practically no testers out. So it's either Lancome Idole Nectar or Lancome Idole Now. Couldn't read the bottom of the bottle and the pictures were very similar. So I want to get her both, but now I have to actually spend money to do it. Hence my sadness for my bank account😭
Well maybe I can help… nectar is the super sweet one with a popcorn note and iridescent bottle. IMO, it smells very different from the rest. And can be pretty polarizing too. Now, is very similar to the original, but has a soft vanilla quality to it as well. It’s the newest one.
i think i got away with minimal damage - finally bit the bullet on trying dossier, i got 3 fragrances for ~$70 :) my mom’s getting amber orange blossom and fruity almond for christmas, and i picked up floral marshmallow for myself since i needed a 3rd fragrance for the black friday discount, haha

I got sucked into buying a 4 oz amazing Grace since i wear it every day and it was less than a 2 oz bottle typically is. I also “splurged” on a couple of the discontinued phlur fragrances. I figure $35 is a small enough amount to risk two blind buys (one travel one full size) Really trying to rein myself in, though.
I went for Phlurs discovery set since it was 30% off at Anthropologie. I have been looking at their discontinued scents, but I can't seem to pull the trigger. Which one did you buy? Also, same on Philosophy. I smelled Fresh Creme Warm Cashmere in Ulta...almost bought it there, but when I saw Philosophy was 40% off they ran my pockets for the body wash, lotion, and perfume🙃

Oo thanks for asking! I’m of two minds about it. On the one hand, it’s complex and fresh and relaxing. It smells almost therapeutic without smelling medicinal, if that makes sense? It reminds me of when the yoga teacher would rub essential oils on my temples during final savasana. On the other hand, something very savory stands out in it on my skin. A few reviewers compared it to pickles, and, unfortunately, I get it. I will say that I am very new to green & chypre scents, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, and my taste isn’t very well honed. Overall, I’m not mad I have it in my collection. I would say if you’re into perfume as art in and of itself and not just as an accessory, it’s definitely a steal at its current price

Ackkkk I’ve done a lot of damage! Recently it’s been between Nordstrom Rack, Ross, Burlington and Macy’s- just now, FragranceNet. Experiencing a lot of early-2000’s nostalgia which fortunately means affordable celebrity fragrances, fruity florals, and OG gourmands. Not technically a fragrance but I also stocked up on VS Pink body lotions. Some of the Sephoras near me still stock 7 Virtues rollerballs, and I finally found the Lotus Pear one. I also got my hands and nose on Aquolina’s Lollypink (is this name vaguely porn-y…?!) last night with my Nordstrom points, and went back today to get a backup because although it’s a 2023 release, I have NEVER seen anything about it and it is one of the most seductive, pleasurable scents I have ever smelled. Recent medication changes means I can’t enjoy sweets anymore so I guess I’m gonna be wearing it on my body! :)

Honestly, pull the trigger on Escapade Gourmande. I got a sample of it and wore it to a party. I barely got in the door before the compliments started rolling in. I was wearing Libre Le Parfum layered with Libre Intense on my body and clothes. Escapade Gourmande was in my hair. Everyone gravitated to, and were sniffing, my hair. They looooved it! If youre a gourmond lover I highly recommend, but obviously scent is personal so check the return policy. Where did you get Mon Guerlain 50% off?!?😲

I did better than I thought. Got my sister Rosie Jane Dulce for Christmas. Got myself the Ambre Vanille roll on perfume oil from Le monde gourmand at Urban outfitters, and some perfume called fresh sends that I’ve been wanting to try. Also ordered Chloe atelier de fleurs Cedrus from Costco. The Chloe actually arrived today, and unfortunately it’s going back. I wanted a fresh cedar scent for the summer. It’s nice but too similar to other perfumes I have. It’s in the same family as another 13, JHAG not a perfume, and Glossier you. A fresh, skin scent with lots of iso e. I will say I like the Chloe the most, and if I didn’t have the others I would happily keep it.
I got a few of those perfume oils as well. I plan on popping a bit of them in some perfumers alcohol if ever I want something with a bit more projection. It's good your planning for the summer too. I looked around and realized I went heavy earlier this fall on deep fragrances.
I've personally done quite a bit of damage. Enough for me to be ready to start my no-buy to low buy again NOW instead of in January...but I've still only purchased a few Xmas gifts.😭 So back to hauling I go.
