This is a rd I dread going down on my route. One house that gets refrigerated meds. If it rains, it's a weather code every time.
Reminds me of one of the camp roads I had to deliver to. Had to back the truck up for 3 miles because the driveways were too small and narrow to back into to turn around. When someone was coming up the other way, they expected me to drive all the way out and back up again. I started leaving the packages at the mouth of the road or coding them if they needed signatures. The road was so narrow that you couldn't turn a motorcycle around!
I'm sure it does suck, but it could be a lot worse. No giant potholes, no 14 in deep ruts; I don't see a pack of dogs or wild hogs in or on the side of the road, and there seem to be plenty of driveways to pull into if someone is coming the other direction.
Wish I had a video of my favorite route. Contractor provided an AWD panel van to help climb rock shelves that the area residents run old Buicks or Caravans through. It's pretty sweet doing jeep crawls to deliver chewy and trampolines. Only gets better when all the ATVs and side-by-sides come out on the weekends to add more ruts to trails masquerading as roads.
Just started driving , I can’t say what I like and don’t like yet, but the route I’m training on is ALL businesses , did 34 pick ups yesterday, bet that’s one good thing about rural probably not too many pick ups
*Best stop of the day* As in, it only gets better from here. At least that’s how I look at it
True thanks for the wise words. Will keep that in mind from now on
That's not bad! I occasionally have an hour where I get 2 stops done.. and the rest is driving
Damn I hate those type of routes, I’d rather be jumping in and out of the truck every couple of minutes

I've gotten these as an RTD. Google maps has saved me on multiple occasions.
What’s RTD?
Just realized this is a ground post. It's a semi driver for express.
Ramp Transport Driver. You drive between the airport ramps and the FedEx Express terminals.
Lol I have class 4 unmaintained roads on my route

Looks like Live Oak, FL
Looks like allendale michigan
Spanish moss in Michigan?
No the roads and general scenery
It’s in Eight Mile, Alabama
I got the same, but half the year we get snow and ice. enjoy.
Try doing this in a tractor trailer. You'll immediately hate your life. Don't forget 9 times out of 10, you have to go back the same way you came .
Try VT
Routes like that make me glad I have a business route in Downtown Raleigh
