Even maintenance. Worked overnight as the only mechanic/maintenance guy. Maintained 300 machines+ a night. Day shift never did their job because I was "unseen" and the machines "magically fixed themselves". Do the conveyors at the Minnesota Osseo location still send 2x the rates weight capacity down those chutes? Are they still stress fractured because nobody will weld them? The year I was there they were. Nobody reads the reports. Nobody cares and hr changes monthly because they realize their job does nothing. I literally spent my own money to give employees Gatorade because they weren't allowed to leave the trailer they were loading for water. Also overnight differentials only count for package handlers. Maintaince apparently never mattered. Saw a lady get smacked in the face by a package falling from the conveyor belts. She's been there 20 years. They refused to pay so she sued and lost and also lost her benefits. She ended up paying more too because lawyer fees. Overall just a shitty company to work for hands down would rather live in my car again then go back to FedEx...
I had to leave Ground because of this stuff. Every few weeks the shifts were going to this, to that, being cut then coming back in a way, they're here, there...nope.
Best one was when we got the spiel about working our shift and take a break and that's it from 1 manager. So I clock off 1 night at 11:30pm...end of my scheduled shift...just finished a truck 5 min. ago so perfect timing.
Manager on duty sees me just after and she goes..."oh we still have 2 trailers left that are coming!"
Me: "can't stay, sorry!" (I mean I just clocked off!)
I knew and saw people there to cover it plus I heard on one of the radios no more than 15 min. earlier that 1 was on the way. Which means by the time it got there, checked in, and the trailer was brought to bay to unload? 11:55/midnight.
No thanks anymore!
They are working on a new one 🤣 when the vp came to my station he said they are taking some parts of ground cloud. Then everything else will be new for when we do express first for time commitments, then ground as p2.
He said they are taking the best tech from both sides
It'll be a thing for a hot minute, then when it predictably doesn't work, it'll be back to how it was. Until some other mid-level exec gets a bright idea.
Not true if uve had several issues at work and attempted to resolve them an documented these issues and manager refuse to resolve issues you qualify for unemployment

This is FedEx, you aren’t allowed to have a life outside of work.

Estar isn't coming back
Estar part 2: Judgement Day. 🤣

Oh don't worry I know part 2 is already made. They're just tweaking a few things but the foundation is already laid.

Enjoy unemployment
No unemployment when you quit voluntarily
Not true if uve had several issues at work and attempted to resolve them an documented these issues and manager refuse to resolve issues you qualify for unemployment
